Camped for 3 days with wife and granddaughter had a great time. We had a back in site with full hookups, it was wide and deep with plenty of room for our 34' TT, it was clean and perfect. The pool was well maintained, grand-daughter loved it. The bathroom and shower nearest our site was very clean. Very friendly staff, we really liked them. Would like a Freeport / Durham magnet for our fridge. Tha

The campground was awesome. Fun activities, nice pool, and our site was nice and shady. The only problem was it was just all dirt, no gravel or grass. It just made the dog and everything else feel dirty!

Loved our site 5T however there was a camper beyond our site in an unmarked spot that seemed a little odd .. he was up during the night making noise playing music at 330am.. we were there 3 nights and most people nod say hello, not this one, a little eerie! Other than that nice bathroom/ showers and the spot was awesome!

It was 90 degrees when we arrived and I had selected a 50 amp pull through site. When I turned on 1 A/C unit, the line voltage was 106 VAC. The voltage on the other leg of the 50A service was 111 VAC. I asked an employee in a KOA golf cart about the "voltage sag" in the site. He first blamed the local electric provider for inadequate service (not true) and then said it was my problem. Never return

Was in section E. Completely in the woods. Tree cover was nice. Seems to be mostly a seasonal campground. Pool deck and volleyball court were overgrown with weeds. Bathrooms clean and updated. Biggest concern was low voltage. It was a concern in multiple reviews and not addressed. See Complete review on Google & RV Life (@lobstahtrap)

The glamping tent was nice but no way to secure items (the bin outside was broken). Did not look like the photos on the website at all. Did not offer hardly any activities that were listed on the website; but Santa visit was nice. Laundry was broken. Playground was not maintained and overall groundskeeping lacked. For the price, we would not recommend going.

We had a great time! Our site was located under the trees which made our RV nice and cool. The staff was friendly and the campground was clean. We would definitely return in the future.

Site was shady and spacious. The bathrooms were super clean and the staff was very friendly. Only complaint was the pool could have been nicer.

The park is off the road so it is very quite. The staff was friendly and helpful. The road into the park and the roads within the park are dirt. The site pad was gravel, but was basically level.

We stayed for one night. Staff was friendly, and able quickly to get us at a full hook-up site (we had not realized we had not booked a full hook-up). Site was in the back - in the wooded section -. It was very large, fairly private, very well shaded, fairly level. No complaints. Would stop here again, if we are coming through the area.

Had a 30 amp spot along woods, it was nice,Wifi was bad. My sister had a 50 amp spot in the middle and electric would cut off so we couldn't go and enjoy ourselves with the dog in a hot rv, it was 90 all week. All the 50 amps in the middle had same problem and when my sister talked to the KOA owner he said it was her rv. There was a dog fight because a dog wasn't tied. Kids mining never on

THE CAMPSITES IN THE TREES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF SPACE. WE DIDN'T LIKE THE SITE ASSIGNED TO US, BUT WE WERE ALLOWED TO MOVE TO ANOTHER AVAILABLE SITE. THANK YOU!

Well maintained and quiet campground close to Freeport and day trips to lots of local attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was nice and we often had it to ourselves. There is a quarry next door and the back up beeps of the trucks can be a bit annoying all morning long but you get used to it after a week :-)

I was not there long but had a great tenting spot in the tall trees. Very pleasant. The washroom was nearby and excellent. New and very clean. The one staff person I talked to was very helpful and pleasant to talk to.

Stayed in a 2 room cabin, and we just loved it.. the fact that the cabins are in a woodsy area is a BIG plus... would stay in the cabins again. Thank you

The campground is a bit shabby. Lot of seasonal campers with “junked up” sites. Staffing is an issue. We spent one night without power. We couldn’t contact any campground staff (no staffing after 7:00 PM). 30A socket at the pedestal was shot. Owner replaced it the next day. Did get a free pumpout as make good. Ended up leaving 2 days early.

Older campground needs lots of upgrades with electricity, no breakers at the sites, the campground had minimal staff, the area where we reserved was almost impossible to get my camper into the site, it took 45 minutes. The areas where we had to drive to to get to our site had overhanging trees where at some points we only had a foot of clearance to get past the trees.

Check in was quick and easy, and the staff was super friendly. We had a back in water/electric site. It was shaded and spacious. The pool was clean and refreshing. Dump station was convenient and well maintained. This is a great place to stay to explore Freeport. If we come back to this part of Maine, we'll be back!

The site we had was very rough. Large tree roots sticking out everywhere. A trip Hazzard, which caused me to fall once and hurt my knee and jerked my back which still is sore. The picnic table was badly rotted and tippy. Other than that, I've always enjoyed KOA in the past. I was dissapointed I couldn't be refunded for the time I couldn't stay (WED-SAT).

This is the second year we have stayed there and we really enjoy it there the owners are awesome. Very accommodating to your needs. We will be returning next month for another stay while visiting my family before we had south

I was very disappointed in our stay. The grounds and amenities were needing upkeep. The grass was so dry and dead in many of the sites along with what should have been a grassy spirts field. The pool is old, broken ladders for access in the water as no steps. The other ladder was cracked on the top rung. Weeds were growing in the pool area in the cement cracks along with overgrown weeds.

Nice quiet campground with spacious sites. Only stayed one night so didn't get to enjoy any of the amenities. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

A very nice campground with friendly and accommodating staff. Our site was a back-in and very roomy. Lots of grass and the trail around the park is lovely. We will definitely stay again as we weren't able to see as much as we wanted around the area due to an ill pet.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in one of the smaller cabins. The showers and bathrooms were always clean and in great function. Located in a quiet wooded area, which was wonderful! Still close enough to town for a great shopping and eating experience. There were a lot of activities throughout the week for those who wanted to participate. Wonderful stay! We love Maine, so we will probably stay here again! Price was great! I have chickens back home in Ohio, so seeing chickens on the property made me miss mine a little less. Thank you!
