First time at a KOA and expectations were exceeded! Fabulous stay - quiet lovely campground with great staff - beautiful trees and plenty of shade - just really nice!

We always enjoy staying there. This time there were young children riding motorized bikes and several times were not able to stop and ran into campers. One time they rode through out site because they had to get out of the way of a truck leaving. We left a day early because it was dangerous watching it.

Great campground with new macadam roads and a well stocked store. The geese and pond are great. The staff is well trained and very friendly. Book it!

We needed to leave 7:30 AM from the site. Pulled up to dump station and it had a padlock on the cap. Front desk says you can’t use dump station until they open 9:00AM. KOA down the road at Kings Dominion allows for early departure use of the dump station. So so many, if not, all others.

Visited for one night in a 36 ft class A towing a small car on a dolly. Very narrow roads into & out of the area. Was promised a flat site. NOT a flat site. Auto levelers could not get the rig level without the wheels coming off the ground. Nice quiet place for small campers. Definitely not a place for big rigs!!

Only concern i had was being right across from the office and the light pole was extremely bright. Made the campfire not as relaxing. In the rv it was no problem as the shades are down but outside it was quite blinding if you want a dark, peaceful site for your fire.

Nice wide pull through spots & very clean. Used the laundry & off leash dog park which were both appreciated. Very quiet & secluded. We had a nice view. Ty for having us & our dogs!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had some issues with our "new -to-us" camper. We wound up having to use a RV repair service which was convenient but VERY expensive. I was disappointed that the fire ring in most of the camp sites didn't have a grate or grill for cooking meals over the campfire. I had a grill ring but didn't think I'd need it since most campgrounds have these

This KOA is on the smaller side (or feels like it), but is beautiful. Quiet and clean, with all the amenities you'd expect at a KOA. The store is amazingly well stocked. Great place to stay the night is traveling on 95, or visiting the area

Overall the campground is very pretty and lovely landscaping. Disappointed that the pool wasn’t opened. They could have used some walking trails giving the woodsy surroundings. The cable was awful . However the reason I won’t recommend this campground is because of the bathrooms. The toilets wouldn’t flush and the showers didn’t work. A small trickle came out. The people I talked with had

Tip for Future Campers: Always visit the website for the KOA you are visiting. Pool seasons and hours are posted here as well as store hours. Not all KOA's have the same pool season. See you around the Pool!

Disappointed to find Recreation center unavailable for our use. ADA shower not clean. Laundry appliances outdated and some on need of repair. Staff wasn't helpful.

Tip for future Campers. We don't have a recreation area. We have a clubhouse that is used for kids craft days on select occasions. Please visit each KOA and see the amenities they offer. If you have special requests, please contact the campground prior to arrival for more information. Happy Camping!

Had a Great weekend. I go Quite often. The only problem I have. I have to reserve Thursday So I can check in early Friday morning. Coming from Arlington, VA. If I leave late on Friday morning it could take three 3 to 4 hours. It only take a hour when I leave early.

C'était juste pour une nuit avec notre VR mais tout était très bien. Le camping est superbe beaucoup d'arbres. Les douches et toilettes A1 rien à redire.

The campground is beautiful, however, I need Wi-Fi and cell phone service to work. The Wi-Fi was spotty (often would not play streaming programs) and the cell service for both At&T and Verizon (I have both) was 1 bar; sometimes No Service.

Check in was quick and easy. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We felt the campground was well laid out, and very well maintained. The facilities were clean. We would highly recommend your campground to others. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Only stayed one night . Was quiet and a nice level spot .. amenities were clean and easily accessible.

Stayed May 9-12; site 94. This is a very nice campground with great amenities. However, I rate our stay based on the site assigned. I’m taking a star off for two reasons; the sewer connection is too high which caused us grief during the dump process, and the pull through that I was assigned had too much of a slope to be able to detach or reattach our tow vehicle. Otherwise, all fine.

Loved the flat spaces and room. Liked the fact that the long term RV-ers were parked in different areas. This was one of the better KOAs we've stayed at.

We were only there for 1 night. I used the KOA app to book. The app stated I could use my points to receive $10 off the nighty rate; however, when I arrived I was told I could not use them because I booked on the app and paid ahead of time. Please make users aware of this. We felt this practice was unethical. The girls in the front office were not rude but definitely not friendly.

Lovely, wooded , peacefully quiet setting. Great paved roads within park, gravel FHU with 50 amp sites. Immaculately clean spacious bathrooms & showers. Many of each. Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. However, poor signage off Hwy. , extremely confusing direction after exit 118. Hwy. 1 not posted. Roads off Hwy. 1 to park are hairpin blind turns, no shoulders & drop offs. $81 overnight, bit high but close to east coast & our Nations Capital

Ran into truck trouble on 95 on a Thursday before Easter. We needed to find something very quickly and close to a dealership to have the truck fixed. Luck was on our side when we saw a KOA 10 miles from the dealer. I tend to over research before picking where to stay, however, we had no time. I booked a site literally 5 minutes before arriving. The grounds are beautiful, shady and tucked into the woods. Plenty of room to walk and for my son to ride his bike. A great playground which he loved as well. There is also a pond on site which adds to the charm. The general store/office was nicely stocked. They did not have milk or butter but had a couple of grocery items such as eggs and hot dogs. It had rained a lot the night before so the grassy areas were pretty soggy but the staff were actively trying to get any sitting water off the sites and roadways. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. If our travels bring us back to this area, we would definitely book again.

Stayed at this campground many times. Great location. This is the first time they charged extra for pets. Not sure why they need to do this. Maybe they charge extra for kids too. Campground prices are high enough without adding extra charges.
