Campground was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. Even with construction going on it was a great stay

Brand new bathrooms and office. Nothing in store. Pool and hot tub need new diamond Brite but can be used. This is it. No amenities beyond above. The worst shocker- Full PRICE! Only very front portion is available for sites. It is clean- carry your own garbage to dumpsters. It has not been long enough since Hurricane.

We love it there! So glad to be back after Ian. So many good resturants around to eat by the water. We love the town of Matlacha too. We bring out boat and go over to Caya Costa, made a day trip to Sanibel. Weather was perfect and even played some pickleball.

I give this a high rating because I support the local businesses for their recovery efforts. Now just FYI. The facility, pool, laundry, are all put back in better shape than before Ian. Electrical and water infrastructure new in the front area. Rear still closed. Store not stocked yet but island stores up and running normally. Bring insect protection! Noseeums brutal dusk and dawn.

Unfriendly manager. Amazon was told the campground would no longer accept packages without a site number. One is not given a site number before arrival and full timers send packages to next stop. We used to love this KOA.

We stayed at the Pine Island KOA during our quest to find a RV park for 2025, and enjoyed it so much we plan on making it our 2025 winter stay. Everything we need is on the island, hardly any traffic, and should we want beach time they are close enough. Well kept park, friendly staff, and cat wait until the whole park is restored. Thank you for an enjoyable trip!!

We thought this was closer to Fort Myers, not at all. I feel KOA should have posted or advised that the RV park was still in disarray from past storm. Not up to KOA standards and feel over priced for what was available. We still may have booked the RV park had we known the area needed support to rebound. But not informing us was truly unacceptable. Any adjustment of our stay would be great.

A very nice clean park with cement pads. Very quiet and convenient to grocery stores and short trip to Cape Coral for anything you might need. Pricey but also in a very nice area

We LOVED the island and the campground. We had no one behind us and the dog park was amazing as large as it was. We will come back next year if we can get a site when it the app opens for 2025 dates. Thank you!

Overall, had a fantastic experience at this KOA. Great location, very clean and manicured campground. Quiet and respectful campers! Full transparency, not much to do on Pine Island, but I went into Cape Coral and other local areas and had fun! There is a great 6 ft wide sidewalk for walking/bike riding several miles in both locations.

The campground is still recovering from the hurricane and only the front part is open. Everyone is friendly and we didn’t feel overly crowded. A couple of the permanent homes really need to be updated or removed. Otherwise the grounds are attractive. The no-see-um’s feasted on me but didn’t hardly bother my husband. Our site when we arrived had trash, dog poop, a small grill and some totes that was all junk. The park responded and came to pick it up. A site should not look like this when we arrived.

Having just reopened after Hurricane Ian, Amy, Amanda and their staff worked relentlessly to make sure that the park was in perfect condition. They answered any concern immediately. We will be back!

Back in site had adequate room to maneuver our 36 foot rig in and out pool was beautiful laundry facility worked well check in was very friendly and informative had WiFi available did not hear construction noise to any detriment of our enjoyment, wish the island had a public beach

We had to change our dates unexpectedly and Lorraine accommodated us in the most professional and friendliest way. She even hooked us up with a spacious, peaceful and level back-in site that exceeded our expectations. The pool and hot tub were exceptional and better than any KOA we've stayed at. Our kids loved it. I highly recommend staying here. Pine Island is a fabulous place to be.

We enjoyed our stay at the campground! We enjoyed the pickle ball court, the music by the pool and campfire at our site. Laundry facility was clean and easy to use. Great location as we biked to restaurants and explored the island. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely four-day stay, and enjoyed the park very much. The campsites are great, the pool area is wonderful, and the laundry facilities are nice and clean. Appreciate the credit card function for laundry! Only about 1/3 of the park is currently open, but there is progress being made. Great to see the area coming back after the hurricane.

It’s clear that the hurricane did tremendous damage. Beautiful place. Just not much to do activity wise. No game night , no poker or card games. No game room. Closed .No bingo ! When things get back to a normal it will be an awesome place , now over changing for what you get .

Absolutely one of the best KOA's we have stayed at. we came in a day early and Jennifer was fantastic getting us a spot. Yes they are in the middle of Hurricane recovery and not all amenities are open yet but the pool, laundry facilities & bathrooms are the cleanest we have ever seen!! BEST showers we have ever experienced. The office staff & property Manger are super friendly and helpful.

We stayed six nights at the Pine Island KOA. We had a great time. The campground had no activities this week and the back half of the campground was closed off due to the damage from hurricane. However, the pool and jacuzzi were great. The laundry room has a credit card reader which made doing laundry hassle free. Great area for bicycling the island, walking, fishing and kayaking. Quiet island.

Staff was great to work with, we had to stay a couple of days longer due to breakdown. The campground up front that has been repaired since Ian and the amenities were great. They haven't opened the back part of the facility yet but are working on it. Great enclosed dog park, pickle ball, pool and hot tub and more. Very impressive!

Most of the park was still shutdown from the hurricane. I'm not sure if any of the showers were open. Very small crowd made our stay much nicer.
