Campground is literally in the middle of nowhere. It's an ATVers paradise with seemingly endless trails everywhere. The sites are spacious and relatively level. Unfortunately, the staff seems indifferent to tour presence. The area we were in (50 among, full hookup( had poor water pressure. We don't know if an attempt was made to rectify the issue as there was no follow up to us.

Great place to stay especially if you enjoy ATV riding. I just wish the store had more items to choose from but other than that it’s very clean and friendly.

Spots were uneven and lots of sugar sand around so constantly worried about getting stuck. Area was kept up and bathrooms were clean.

Stayed for two days so we can take our RZR to the Ocala Forest trials. It was good. The site was large, and it worked well for our 45' toy hauler. The aprk is ideal for those who want to ride the forest as it is across the street. We didn't use the pool or facilities but it looked to be fairly new. Besides this, the rest of the park seems dated. Connections were far from the RV.

Nice park but nearest big town 20+ minutes away. Local town has gas station, grocery store, Dollar General, and Hardware Store. If you're into ATVing, there are lots of trails to ride. Little hilly where we were which made it difficult to get the motorcycle in the RV.

The park is in good condition and a great bath house with laundry. The water pressure was always bad. The highest pressure we got was 25psi. Had to go to bath house to get showers. A lot of permanent lots in the park . Some are really nice in some areas. The main reason I would not recommend would be closest town is 28- 35 miles away. Lots of ATV vehicles in the park.

Very relaxing and fun, especially seeing the various rallies come in and being able to talk to some of the members. I also had fun exploring several of the trails there. I didnt see any wildlife this time, but have done so in the past. Please dont let this KOA become all built up with so many permanent residents. Instead leave plenty of room for rustic camping.

The description of this KOA in the campground directory is VERY misleading. "On-site beach access" is a steep path from the campground that has not seen maintenance for many years. The "beach" is an unkempt patch of sand that had an old, broken camp chair on it. There are no ATV rentals. Unless you have your own ATV and plan on using the trails, this KOA is not a good option.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful pool, clean washrooms and park. We had a bike stolen, others did too. Very unsettling. Office staff needs to be more personable, not a warm fuzzy greeting.

Beautiful pool. Enjoyed the TCT rally. But a couple of our people got robbed there, bikes stolen! Not a safe feeling. Not sure how to navigate getting 200 - 250 people to the clubhouse with no designated walking path to get there. Felt bad for the locals to put up with us walking through their sites. Nice folks at front desk.

We were greeted by very rude personal. I asked her our spot number and she replied I have an escort for you. She never told me the number. The man took us to our site and said there you go. The man across the street explained that we were on two lots. He stated we should be diagonal not straight. Shouldn't the KOA staff have told us that? The laundry had 8 washers and only 4 working dryers.

No defined camping spots, you pretty much park in a field and hope you plug your water and electricity in the correct spot. They cater more for the people who has bought a lot there, those people put fence up to the road so when pulling a long trailer you have to worry about hitting the fence.

Pool area nice but pool is not heated so water was very cold. Ants were a big problem, would have been nice for general store to have ant spray as we did not have means to go to a store. Large campground for walking or bike riding.

Nice set up and connections. Clean large pool but not heated, best to wait until April to swim. No clear access to beach on map and website. Mostly quit during days, very quiet at night. Ants, ants, ants, spray your site or expect company. Great for star gazing. Friendly and helpful staff.

Three of the four clubhouse air conditioners were not cooling. Clubhouse was very hot. Night time lighting needed for the street leading to the clubhouse along the fench line. Kitchen was not fully equipped.

This is our first time here, hopefully not our last. We drove 1,400 miles - Ontario Canada - well worth the drive! Very clean, great pool, beautiful setting. We are with the Tin Can Tourists, very active, organized and friendly bunch.

We enjoyed our stay. The campground facilities and the site we were on met our needs. We chose this location because we were looking for easy access to the Ocala Forest trails. Office staff was friendly and easy to work with. The store had the items we needed in a pinch. We had done our research so we were prepared for what to expect.

Location is everything! We had a nice spot under trees and weren’t close to other campers, so it was enjoyable. Most of the lots are sandy and uneven and not well marked so if you go and it’s dark already, you will probably have a difficult time. Recommend arriving in the daytime. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our site didn’t have a picnic table or fire ring but they brought us

Sites are adequately large however we didn’t have a picnic table at our spot. The check in process is strange. Only received a parking pass no other info. Atv rental was not available. Path to “beach” was sad. “Beach” was pathetic

They never replaced the stove or refrigerator in the club house. There is no outside lighting at the club house which makes it very dangerous to walk around at night. The workers were great. The campground is still after two years or so not up to KOA standards even though your admin said things had been resolved there.

Walk over 1/4 mile to office to check in. Staff not helpful at all. Will not return, it does not meet the minimum standards I have for KOA campground.

This was nothing more than a place to park our RV. None of the sites were level as the entire ‘campground’ is on a slope. This campground might be worth staying at if you want to ride an ATV. Overall, we felt that this campground was way overpriced …

Suited for ATV riders. Sandy lots, lots of ants. Pool not heated . Rough , steep path to lake. Not sure how this is considered a KOA campground maintenance guys were very friendly and helpful if needed .

Kelsey on phone and in the office is extra nice and helpful. Some sires need to add gravel or fill in the many ruts. When it rains they are wet and track in the RV sand and mud. Sites are bigger and not too close to neighbor.

Our RV group was there for a rally and we were scattered all over the campground. There were no reserved spots and no record of where anyone was. The sites were uneven and ill kept. I went to 4 sites before setting up. The bathrooms in the clubhouse and up the hill were out of soap and toilet paper. The men’s bathroom was filthy on Sunday morning. Low water pressure, took over an hour to check in, sites were not level, sewer connections broken on most sites. Meeting room dirty, air conditioner on meeting room did not work. Had 20 coaches with our rally and will not be back.

This campground is not what we have experienced at any other KOA. The most concerning: no connection for your sewer pipe to attach to. Just a broken piece of pvc pipe, sticking out of the ground, that you set your hose in. Sites are not marked so you don't know what area is yours. One good thing, the other campers/residence/staff were friendly. Would not stay here again nor recommend.

Office very unorganized, lots are terribly un-level, lighting is needed around the clubhouse and office. Also, low hanging limbs need to be trimmed.

My first power pedastal had the polarity reversed, the second had a faulty 30 amp switch. I also located numerous sewer lines not in a state of good repair. Next to my RV there was water seeping out of the ground. Clearly mark unsat pedestals and sewer drains so they are visible from the road. Not good when they are discovered after parking.

Staff was not friendly, took over an hour for some of our group to get checked in. No organization of sites they put you in, they just ride around and find a spot. Thought we had 50amp, they told us we had to stay at 30amp site, could not change to 50amp..The trail down to the lake needs cleaning, about half the way down there is a tree that has been cut, but still across the trail.

We found the grounds to be very unkept with poor maintenance. Sites were not level and were very dirty. We had reservations with the Sun Wheelers group/rally and upon arrival found that the personnel knew nothing about our arrangements or accommodations. Our members waited for over an hour to check-in and be assigned sites, which were no where near together. UNACCEPTABLE CONDITIONS ALL AROUND!

Could use policing for cleanliness. There were sites that were nasty. They overbooked by having 2 rally’s at clubhouse. Road where my site was on was terrible.

Sat in line to be taken to a site for almost an hour. I reserved a pull thru but was placed 10 feet behind a resident trailer. I am used to better through KOA.

What a great, out of the way place to camp. Located beside a lake, there was always a nice breeze blowing. Campsites are very large and are all pull-through, which is a nice option. Bathhouse/clubhouse is very nice and the restrooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. It's not your typical KOA, as everything is very laid back, probably because it is located in the middle of nowhere. It's one of those places where you go if all you want to do is camp and relax. They do have activities for children in the morning.
