Staff was amazing! Helpful, friendly, courteous and responsive. Park itself had poor signage, very remote, uneven parking spots, odd mixture of permanent and traveler sites.

Washers and Dryers did not work. Internet has been promised for years. The website says its full. Nobody helps you park. They do not know which spots are available (unless you want to buy one, then you get an escort). They will shut the water off without notice. There are no patio pads. They charge different people different prices (some people get the old price which is 165$ less than the new pr

The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating however the grounds were not that great. Our campsite had cigarette butts all over the place and our fire ring was full of beer cans from the previous people staying. Other than that we had no issues they just need to do some major cleanup to the grounds. There was trash dumped on us edge of the woods around the campground .

Nice place to stay ,Big Man with a long beard that directed us in was probably the best employee we came in contact with ,he was there to do whatever it took to make sure we got setup.came back a few times to check .

Staff was excellent. Help directed us to the site and came and checked on us to see if we needed anything. As senior campers, we liked the service. Keep up 5he great work!

The staff and security team was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The grounds and facilities were well kept except for the extreme outer sites. We loved the access to the trails in the national forest. We'd stay there again.

Day prior to leaving, wanted to empty my black tank, but oh surprize, the sewer is full (or block) … went to front desk where was told somebody would come. Nobody did, and had to empty at dump station on my way out. Not service level accustome to at KOA.

This is a beautiful parkhad a wonderful time.BUT FOR 50 DOLLARS A NIGHT THIS PLACE SHOULD HAVE FUNCTIONAL RESTROOMS AND SHOWERS. You have no staff.I only saw Courtney and a security guard at night. I have a video on YouTube. Your anex hall needs a deep clean from the ceiling to the grout. IT DISGUSTING MULTIPLE CLEANINGS SHOULD BE DONE HOURLY ESPECIALLY WITH COVID. I GAVE U 3 STARS CAUSE OF KOURTN

After our previous experiences at KOA Campgrounds, this one did not measure up at all! Muddy area around camper without gravel or pad available. Most campers were there for ATV riding and partying late into the night. In addition, campground was way out of the way from our route adding 20 miles each way. Do not recommend for folks looking for just a quiet overnight stay!

The only thing going for this KOA is access to the ATV trails in the Ocala National Forest. Worst KOA I’ve stayed at. No water pressure, garbage laying around for days, no hot water in showers, one washing machine for 450+ sites, no guidance to a site (so you have to figure out on your own which power/sewage to use). Won’t stay there again.

We are new to camping and this is the 3rd KOA we have stayed and we just did not get that KOA greeting we have come custom with. People where friendly but I feel this site caters to there permanent residences more. I was really disappointed in the care of the bathrooms in there club house. I had to point out that the toilets were all backed up.

We loved our 1 night stay. Very quiet. Security guy was so nice. Not to far from the dam. People were fishing and catching bass. Fished the little beach down the hill from camp. Didn't have the right bait and didn't get a nibble, but enjoyed fishing anyway! This place is really about atv riding.

loved everything about the campground -- would of given a 10 if the trail maps were readable. Nothing on the maps from the office matched the road signs on the trails. Being a new rider, we wanted to know where we were and going

It was a quite unusual KOA. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I have never camped at a KOA where it seemed most owned their lots or were otherwise in a long term lease. Also, the area is quite remote and unhandy for shopping for food and fuel.

Pros: 1) The staff was very friendly and helpful before and during stay. 2) Showers were nice. 3) Great place to be if you own ATV. Cons: 1) The nature trails so over grown they were not usable. 2) The clubhouse area was run down. 3) designated pet off leash area pathetically small. 4) bathrooms in poor shape

Some permanent campers camp was trashy,and two people got loked in the bath room due to dead bolt being carotid, seems every year we come back the place gets worse with maintenance.

We had great few days here we were looking to purchase a lot here, not for us but the area for ATV’ers is amazing and for family fun. We were in contact with John Wilcox for our stay who is in charge of lot sales .The staff here was so accommodating and so nice I would highly recommend this KOA to those who are looking for family fun and adventure to definitely make a trip here, beautiful area.

The place is very trashy. Beach had an overflowing trash can all week with other trash everywhere. The sites have trash on them, don’t think they are ever cleaned. The bathrooms are horrible. No toilet paper. One toilet stopped up with poop and blood. Disgusting!

Nice park, I wish I had an ATV. But even without one the pool and playground are awesome. The other facilities were clean. Nice trails to walk, I wish the dog area was a little bigger tho.

Great campground with nice amenities, pool, clubhouse and great views of the lake. Easy check in with the staff eager to help and answer questions. Minor issues with the sites for tents. Glad there were sites but the electric was not for 20 amp which is what we needed. Also the trails to the lake were not maintained. Trees were across the trail and railing was broken down.

Toilet and showers were terrible. Dirty, paper on floors,old underwear left on floor. Not cleaned for days. Atv’s are the main activity, lots of motor noise.I would not go back again .

Pool is not heated, main bathroom went down. Not very clean either

It was a very nice place very relaxed! The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The riding trails are a plus if you have something to drive.

Very disappointed in Fort McCoy/Lake Oklawaha KOA. The showers in one building were dirty and lights burned out. The bathrooms in the other building, toilet paper was out, toilet paper holders were broke in most stalls, lights burned out, no soap dispenser in the womens bathroom, out of paper towels in mens restroom. Washer and dryers had to be jerry rig to be used, the machines that even worked.

$77.58 per day is excessive, as well as dealing with the low water pressure. It is sad that the lots are all being sold and will no longer be a campground. The office staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Have a nice day.

What a great, out of the way place to camp. Located beside a lake, there was always a nice breeze blowing. Campsites are very large and are all pull-through, which is a nice option. Bathhouse/clubhouse is very nice and the restrooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. It's not your typical KOA, as everything is very laid back, probably because it is located in the middle of nowhere. It's one of those places where you go if all you want to do is camp and relax. They do have activities for children in the morning.
