This KOA is friendly, quiet, safe, sparkling clean, and lots of fun! Our Check-In time is 2:00 p.m. and our Check-Out time is at 1:00 p.m.

Outdoor enthusiasts: Head to Fond du Lac to fish, boat and swim at Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin's largest inland lake. Hiking and biking trails abound in the region, including about 35 miles of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail in Kettle Moraine State Forest. Bird-watchers flock to Horicon Marsh, home to more than 260 species, while aviation buffs pilot toward the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture Museum and its annual "Fly In." Located near many attractions, this KOA is friendly, quiet, safe, sparkling clean and lots of fun! Enjoy the hot tub, group pavilion, big-screen movie area, and Jumping Pillow. Hop on a wagon ride. Try catch-and-release fishing at the pond. Rent a bike, or swim in the heated pool.

May 11-13: Mother's Rule Weekend

Bring Mom Kamping for Mother's Day. Pancake breakfast Saturday morning, and Mom's eat free! Kids and Dad's meet at the pavilion Saturday to make mom a Mother's Day Gift and then join in on a little competition with games between moms and kids.

Cost for this weekend: 35% off our regular week-end price. No other discounts apply.

May 25 - May 28: Memorial Day Weekend

Decorate your sites in red, white, and blue. Kids, decorate your bikes and help us decorate our wagon for the wagon ride parade through the park. Create a craft at the pavilion. Come one, come all, and have a great Memorial Day Weekend.

June 8-10: Tye-Dye weekend

One of our campers favorite weekends. Bring whatever you would like to tye-dye. Shirts, Socks, underwear, or anything else you would like to tye-dye.

June 15-17: Father's Day Weekend

Bring Dad kamping for Father's Day weekend. Mom's and kids come to the pavilion on Saturday to make a Father's Day gift. Father and kids our annual fishing tournament, so bring fishing gear. Everyone has a great time.

June 22-24: Carnival Weekend

Come join the fun during Carnival Weekend! This is definately one of our campers favorite weekends. Face painting, games and prizes. Lots of fun for all.

June 29-July 2: July 4th Weekend

Come kamping and celebrate America! Decorate your sites in red, white, and blue. Kids, decorate your bikes and help decorate our wagon for our 4th of July parade thru the park. Flea market, ice cream social, movies, and spectacular fireworks! This is one weekend you won't want to miss.

July 6-9 Here We Go Again 4TH of July

Because of the 4th of July falling on Wednesday, we are having 4th of July 2 weekends with all the same great fun.

July 13-15: Christmas in July

Join us for breakfast with Santa Saturday morning. Decorate your sites in your Christmas decorations. Go on a wagon ride with Santa. Have fun making a Christmas Craft at the pavilion. Site decorating contest: Winner gets this weekend free. Winners money will be refunded.

August 10 - 12: Pulled Pork Pot Luck Weekend

Join us for really great Pulled Pork. We will be having a pot-luck dinner Saturday night. The kampground will supply pulled pork sandwiches. Please bring a dish to pass. Sign up for the pot-luck will be in the office. There will be a Craft at the pavilion Saturday Morning.

August 17 - 19: Pirates Weekend

Hey Mateys! Decorate your sites and dress up as pirates. Join in on the Treasure Hunt. Create a craft at the pavilion.

August 24 - 26: Mardis Gras Weekend

Come join in the fun. Kids come decorate your bikes and help decorate the wagon for our Mardi Gras Wagon Ride parade through the park. There will be a craft at the pavilion. Decorate your sites with lots of flash and Mardis Gras color.

September 28-30 : Halloween Weekend

It's our annual Halloween Weekend. Decorate your site, wear a costume and win a prize for the best of both. Bring a pumpkin and win a prize for the best carved pumpkin. Have fun making a creepy cookie. Trick or Treating is on Saturday and don't forget the Haunted Hayride, if you dare!

Fond du Lac Visitors & Convention Bureau

Fond du Lac is located on Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin's largest inland lake at 220 square miles and is a haven for boating, fishing, water-skiing and in the winter, ice fishing. EAA AirVenture

Located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, at the site of the world's largest aviation event (EAA AirVenture) the Museum is one of the most extensive aviation attractions in the world, a year-round destination for the entire family. Come and explore our world-class displays and galleries.

EAA Air Adventure Museum

The EAA Air Adventure Museum contains some of the most significant and spectacular contributions to the world of aviation. Exciting aircraft displays, dynamic theater and video presentations and fascinating galleries are all part of your total aviation experience. From the Wright Brothers' first flight to the first fighter jets to the modern home built airplanes of today, and tomorrow, you will walk through the entire history of aviation. The museum is located 17 miles north of Fond du Lac on Highway 41.

Elkhart Lake Road America Race Track

Fond du Lac County Automobile Tours with Cassettes

Automobile cassette tours are available at the Visitor Information Center at 19 W. Scott St. in Fond du Lac. Have an adventure on this unique automobile tour of the rural roads of Fond du Lac County and learn the rich history of the area. Choose from Kettle Moraine Site Forest & the Ice Age Area and Campbellsport, or Fond du Lac & the Holyland, Farm Country and Historic Ripon; or the Edge of Horicon National Wildlife refuge and Waupun. Fond du Lac Talking House Tours

Tours are available from the Visitor Information Center at 19 W. Scott St. in Fond du Lac. Indulge in a true sampling of Fond du Lac's fascinating architecture and geographical charm. Twenty-four homes and sites are included on this driving tour, fourteen of which are talking sites. Tune in your radio and hear some of Fond du Lac's most famous buildings talking to you. Galloway House and Village

Take a tour of this historic Victorian Village and its main building, the Galloway House. This stately Victorian mansion boasts a multitude of Italiante details. Golf Courses - Rolling Meadows Golf Course

Located 8 miles from the campground. The Rolling Meadows has 27 holes and features 12 ponds, 50 sand bunkers and a 10 acre wetland area that comes into play on 4 holes, while also adding to the natural setting and beauty of the course. Four strategically placed tees challenges the average golfer and the professional. Horicon Marsh Wildlife Refuge for Boat Tours & Fall Goose Migration

Located 12 miles south of Fond du Lac on Highway 49, the Horicon Marsh Wildlife Refuge is the home of 32,000 acres of ice age legacy, beginning as a lake then gouged out by glaciers and pushed southward. The land has been used as a wildlife refuge since 1943 and is part of the National Ice Age Reserve Unit. The grass and wetlands shelter more than 250 species of birds including geese, herons, egrets and many songbirds. The marsh is best known as a rest stop for over 200,000 migrating Canadian Geese during the spring and fall. Trails are open year long. 1-800-937-9123.

House on the Rock

It's the destination of your imagination and the getaway of your dreams! Visit the miraculous house constructed high atop a rock overlooking rolling terrain. Walk through the house and its 16 connected buildings and you behold a variety of sights and sounds the likes of which you've never seen before. This attraction includes intriguing collections. It is a 2-1/2 hour drive from the KOA.

Kettle Moraine - Henry Ruess Ice Age Visitor Center

Kettle Moraine is located off Highway 45 just eight miles southeast of Fond du Lac. The "Northern Kettle" is a glacial landscape of rolling, wooded hills dotted with serene lakes and hidden ponds. The Ice Age Visitor Center in Dundee is open daily. 29,735 acres. 72 miles of hiking trails, 19 miles of off-road bicycle trails (State Trail Pass required), 58 miles of snowmobile trails and 33.4 miles of cross- country ski trails. Join the Kristmas Kringle Shop as they celebrate Christmas 360 days of the year. Enjoy 10,000 sq. ft. of exciting glass ornaments, collectibles, and gifts for every occasion. Browse through the European Village of Shops created within our Shoppe. You'll love the sights, sounds & scents of Christmas. Many glass ornaments and specialty ornaments can be personalized.

Lake Winnebago for Boating and Fishing

Winnebago Lake is located only seven miles from Fond du Lac. Drive around Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin's largest inland lake, and discover 88 miles of contrasting shoreline and unique community adventures. At 28 miles long and 11 miles wide, Winnebago is the 2nd largest inland lake in the 48 states. Tour route points out the beauty, history and attractions of various communities along the way. Lakeside Park for Children's Rides and Petting Zoo

Lakeside Park is located at North Main Street in Fond du Lac. Over 400 acres of open recreational space on the south end of Lake Winnebago. Summertime brings impressive flower displays, boating of all kinds, picnics and children of all ages to the many playgrounds. Lakeside Park Light House and observation tours in the summer - April 15-October 15. Visitors can enjoy Lakeside Park Rides with nostalgic rides on the miniature train and enjoy the antique carousel, as well as bumper boats, canoes, hydro bikes and roto whip rides Memorial Day to Labor Day and weekends in April, May & September. Larson's Famous Clydesdales

See Famous Reggie, who won the Anheuser Busch Best American Bred Gelding at the National Clydesdale Show! Visit Larson's Famous Clydesdales, the ranch where the gentle giants live. See an entertaining demonstration of a cart class in costume and full harness, antique hitch wagons and show preparation. Museum and gift shop. Open mid-May - mid-Oct Mon-Sat. 1pm tour and grandstand show. Admission fee and reservations are preferred. The Clydesdales are located 17 miles W of FDL. Hwy 23-W to KK (follow signs). Miller Brewery Tour

Miller Brewery Tours are available Monday through Saturday. A four block one-hour indoor/outdoor tour. Tour times updated daily and last tour leaves at 3:30 p.m. CST. Gift shop open 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Reservations suggested for groups of 15 or more. Information available by calling 1-414-931-BEER.

Milwaukee Visitors & Convention Bureau

Visit the Milwaukee online for Zoo, Museums, Brewers Baseball, Parades, Festivals and Brewery Tours. Located just 45 minutes from Fond du Lac.

Miracle Mile (Main Street) in Fond du Lac

Shop Fond du Lac's Main Street. On Main Street, you'll find a variety of shops including bridal, jewelry, clothing, crafts, art, book, antiques, floral, coffee, bagels, and more. Free parking is available on Main St. Business 41.

Noah's Ark - America's Largest Waterpark - 70 acres

There are water slides 10 stories high and slides a quarter of mile in length. Enjoy two enormous wave pools. Enjoy the great outdoors and bring the family to America's largest water park. Old Wade House - An 1850s Stagecoach Inn

The Wade House has stoked the fire in the recent revival of interest in the Civil War. The stagecoach ruled the road and talk of a civil war spilled out over a plate of beans and a pint of ale. Meet the innkeepers, walk through the rooms, and talk with the patrons. Then board a horse-drawn wagon for a ride to the Wesley Jung Carriage Museum, which holds Wisconsin's largest collection of restored hand- and horse-drawn carriages.

S.S. Badger

Taliesin: Where the Past and Future Meet

Cedar Springs is located 30 miles from Fond du Lac.

Widmer's Cheese Cellars

Widmer produces some of the finest Brick, Cheddar and Colby cheeses in the world. The cheese is handcrafted in small batches to ensure quality. Tours are available with advance reservations.

Wild Goose State Biking & Hiking Trail

Located 12 miles north of Fond du Lac. Linking the City of Fond du Lac is the "Gateway to the Wild Goose Trail" and the City of City of Juneau, this 34 mile compacted limestone trail on an abandoned railroad grade traverses oak woodlots, fertile farm fields, prairie remnants and sparkling streams as it runs through the rural country sides of Dodge and Fond du Lac Counties and skirts the western edge of the internationally known Horicon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge. Wildlife, scenery and level surface provide safe, easy and enjoyable biking and hiking for all ages. Parking and trail access available at the southern trail head at Hwy 60 and the northern trail head on Rolling Meadows Drive in Fond du Lac and numerous points between.
