Join us for our Come Camp and Care Weekend, Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th 2016. We will be doing many fundraising events to raise money to send kids with cancer to Care Camps . There will be a raffle for some excellent items. We will also have a rocket building and launching fundraiser.
Millard County offers a world class rock crawling venue for 4x4 events at the County Fairgrounds in Delta. The man-made course rivals any you may have competed on, the professional or unlimited lines will test the driver, spotter and their rig to the Limit. The course has been made to accommodate any type of rock crawler outfit you drive. The lines can be made from very easy to very extreme. There is something for everyone, including the teeter-totter and other fun challenges. In 2009, the teeter-totter was used for a tip-over challenge, which was super fun to watch.
Located at Millard County Fairgrounds (30 minutes from the Campground) Friday June 9th 2016. This rodeo offers all the excitement of a wild west rodeo!
Fourth of July festivities begin in Delta and Fillmore with early morning breakfasts, followed by Main Street parades that highlight a rural lifestyle. After the parades, patriotic programs are held in the park, complete with speeches, songs and talent shows.Games, entertainment, free swimming and other activities fill the afternoon in both communities. Fireworks at the Fillmore Fairgrounds are scheduled for dusk. In Delta, the Demolition Derby starts at the County Fairgrounds at 6:00 p.m., with fireworks following.Join Us at the Fillmore KOA for a great view of the Fillmore Fireworks Display.
August 4 TH Thru the 7 TH 2016, come to Delta at the Millard County Fairgrounds (30 minutes from the campground) for a real Country Fair. Enjoy entertainment, a Little Britches Rodeo, Science Shows and Demonstrations, food, games, contests and fun. Make plans now to be part of the "Best Small-town Fair" in Utah!
August 5th and 6th, 2016: This restored historic site provides education about our pioneer past all year long, but if you Travel South on I-15 from the Campground to Cove Fort in August you will find living historic exhibits and booths. Tour guides are in period clothing. There is entertainment and family fun for all including Stage coach and wagon rides. Visit Cove Fort Web site for more details.
September 9th and 10th 2016 at the Territorial Statehouse Park in Fillmore. Fine art, mountain man demonstrations, and live entertainment are just a few of the attractions offered here. Admission is free.
