Needed a place to stay for a night. We were offered a simple pull through with water and electric, no sewer. That was fine for one night. It was drizzly raining when we arrived and there was a lot of standing water all around that area of the campground. I had to hook up and got my feet wet up to the ankles just on my site where I hooked up power.

Perfect for an overnight stay as we traveled south on 95. Clean campground, easy pull through sites right near entrance, and our whole family loved the calico cat that was around!

We were there for an overnight. Staff was helpful and site was big enough and fairly level. Park was mostly quiet at night.

Was too expensive for a KOA that doesn't offer much. Unlevel site, No cable, poor wifi, no pool, barely a cell signal, and not much in the area. It served its purpose of being close to the interstate, hence "Journey", but if I'm heading north I would drive the extra 2 1/2 hours next time and stay at Fredericksburg KOA "Holiday" for about the same price.

Nice location, very flexible owners, easy check-in, clean but dated facilities-example, the hose to clean out the grey tank was broken. We have also found that we prefer KOAs that stay open until 8, this one closed at 5. But for a one night stop, it was just fine.

sites were very unlevel which made it hard to level RV no WI-FI and could get local channels on TV either.

What a wonderful surprise after a long day driving I-95. Sites are a little tight but no issue really. No cable but does have over the air TV. Beautiful location. Will stop at this KOA in the future if we’re in the area.

Our site was near the entrance, which was great for our short stay. The location was clean and quiet. We arrived before dark, after the office was closed and an envelope with our name was attached to the wall near the office. The site was not hard to find and the hook-up was easy.

place was very clean. our stay was just an overnight stay. Didn't see anyone due to checking in on a Sunday. info was ready with great directions.

Very nice campground with clean level sites. Easy on and off the interstate. Friendly and helpful check in process.

Very small place. It really needs work done to it. The laundry room needed cleaned… the washers stunk badly and someone left a nice amount of cigarette butts in the dryers. The playground is antiquated and needs to be redone. The store has very limited supplies. Otherwise it was ok.

Very convenient to I-95. A bit rustic for KOA, limited amenities and no staff at all. We called at 5:15 on a Saturday to advise that we would be arriving late and the office was closed with a simple message that we should call back during office hours. No after-hours contact or ability to leave a message. Closed on Sundays. We had made our reservation on the KOA app the same day we arrived and luckily there was an envelope with our name on it at the office when we arrived around 8pm. Simple pull-through site was unlevel and grass/gravel but did the trick for a one-night stopover. Dumped tanks and headed out around 10am the next day. Never saw any staff; was pretty empty on the weekend. Doubt anyone comes here except I-95 travelers stopping over (there were a few older trailers that appeared to be full time / long term residents in the back). It is less than 5 minutes from the expressway but very quiet. Couldn't hear the traffic at all. Definitely would consider as a stopover in the future. Halfway between NY/NJ and Florida so convenient for that.

Kind and caring staff.Beautiful quiet and remote setting. Easy and close access off I 95.Great stop to rest overnight or a week of rest.I suggest you bring what you want and need. Closest stores between 15 to 20 miles.Nature and simplicity.Remedy for the soul.
