The staff was top notch, informative and welcoming. Our site was level, but even though it was beautifully shaded, had no grass so a mud hole with rain. They attempted to mow the weeds that grew, which spread dust and threw rocks. The pond was amazing and had an abundance of floats the kids really enjoyed. Definitely a place for families more so than retirees like us.dirty laundry room, clean bath

Great place for kids! The only complaint I have is the leaves in the primitive camping area…it was horrible. It would have even nice if they were cleaned up around the campfire area at minimum.

We stayed from Sunday through Thursday. The camp staff were right on in terms of meeting our needs. The only exception was the cable for TV. Our reception was grainy and sometimes not at all. It took a lot more time than we thought was necessary to rectify the problem and we still had grainy reception! Fishing was great fun! We do love Emmett!

We come down to stay at Emmett KOA from northern MI 3 times every year to camp with our adult kids. We are suggesting that the site numbering system is in need of revamping. Twice in 9yrs one of the three of us has been put at opposite ends of the park. The problem seems to occur when a reservation is made by phone. We are always very specific about the site numbers when we call.

It was a test run for the camper we've bought. We enjoyed our stay, brought back memories of camping with our children and friends, years ago when it was Beech Grove. Our Daughters & 2 grandkids came to visit, had a great time too. Hearing about our great time, our son & family are planning to camp with you the last weekend in June for their first camping trip of the summer. We'll be back too!

Definitely one of our favorite campgrounds. Rustic, homey, a variety activities, friendly staff, well-kept lake for fishing and inflatables for the kids. Nice playground, good food/ice cream, putt-putt, jumping pillow, a nice store with a variety of attractive items. Place has it all. Great environment for all. Only gripe I have is the small site spaces. Getting in and out can be burdensome.

We love staying at the Emmett KOA. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The campground is kept very clean. We enjoyed our stay again but the grandkids did miss the dance music on Saturday night. We will be back agin

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Small campground but we started during the week and it was perfect! Had a pull through between playground and lake and it was perfect for our motorhome and tow. Lake was fun, and it was nice that the inflatables were free of charge. Great campground and awesome staff!!

This is our second time staying here. Cabins are nice. Bathrooms were clean. A lot of fun activities. And the catfish in the swimming area were interesting!

Nice place but we were parked on worse site in campgrounds. Basket ball hit my dog got my wife 4 times hit our camper more than I can remember. I might come back if I could get on other side of place

We had such a nice stay here last week! My kids loved the new blow ups in the lake and I thought the queue for the train was a great improvement since last year. All of the staff that we encountered were so polite and helpful. We are looking forward to coming back next month!

lots of activities for kids and nice sites with full hook up. No picnic table at our site when we arrived. told the office the first evening and they said that it would be handled the next day. I waited till 11 the next day, went to an empty site and took a table. 30 amp stopped working mid way through first night. We told office, no one came able to use 20 amp. Disappointed no one ever checked

There we’re events going on in the pavilion that we were never informed about one was cider tasting hitch would have been fun to petals in and I couldn’t tell wha my the other three adult Events were. Nothing was on the website and no texts about the activities

Every staff member was great with happy positive vibe. Great campground with nice beach. Very shady with tall beautiful trees. Full of activities and fun stuff for the kiddos. Campstore has very limited food/beverage but full on kid toys and camping odds and ends. Absolutely going back.

We had such a great time at Emmett KOA! There were so many fun activities for the kids. The staff was all so friendly and helpful. The campground was very clean. The kids spend a lot of time on the beach, in the water, and at the playground. We will definitely be back!

We were able to book a 2 night stay at the last minute when plans at another location fell thru. We were given a pull-thru FHU site. Sites were a little close together, other than that, adequate. The park was busy with lots of kids, good thing the park has a lot for kids to do. The park employees seemed to do a good job of keeping the sites and amenities well-maintained.

It was our first time here. My kids enjoyed the swimming and activities. Personally I thought it was a bit busy for my taste. Cluttered. But staff was super friendly and accommodating. I am not a fan of the one car per site either. Although I understand why with the size of the sites.

The facility is amazing with lots of activities, staff everywhere and impeccably clean. The new owner and his daughters work at the campground and are very involved. We did have a few issues pop up (nothing major, the site we were assigned to was a bit wonkey so we wanted to switch the direction of our trailer for example) and they were extremely friendly and helpful. We will FOR SURE return.

We are longtime campers that return every year and it always a great place to stay. But I am not sure i would recommend to a friend or if I will return next year as I do not like site renewal policy and process.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay this year. Our staff works very hard to keep the grounds clean and do everything they can to help campers relax on their vacation. We have changed our rebooking policy to make process fair for all campers trying to camp with us.

Electric is at back of site, had to get extension to reach. Site was all dirt. Neighbors were “smoking” all weekend. 3 huge dogs next door, 2 in tent; barked a lot. The employees were very nice but we won’t return to this location.

First I was assigned a site without Sewer which I had requested online. Seems a problem with the online program was to blame there. Brochure said there was WIFI, but none found. Also cable did not work and I left a message with the front office about it and they promised a follow up which never happened.(2 days) Park is clean and Nice otherwise.

We love this park and it’s close proximity to home. The pond and the inflatables are our favorite. The only thing we would change is A-more activities like the ones offered at other KOA’a like crafts and B-more full hookups. I received a text allowing campers to utilize empty full hookup sites to shorten the dump line, I think that this is so amazing and more parks should encourage this as wel

We had a great time while staying. There was so much for our grandkids to do as well as us. Our spot was a little tight but it was the last one available so we took it but all the other spots looked pretty roomy.

The campground is well kept and they have added new inflatables in the lake. The owners are friendly. Don’t go there looking for WiFi, it is basically non-existent. The quiet and the grounds more than make up for a lack of WiFi.
