Overall we had a great time and enjoyed another Halloween weekend with family and friends. We checked in on Wednesday evening, and some of the weekday staff were less than friendly. We had no issues with the weekend staff. They were friendly, and helpful. We are very disappointed in the new reservation policy, as we have been camping with a large group for the last 6 years.

Booked a site with cable/internet since my kids are remote learning. WIFI doesn't exists here. No activities for kids on Friday and very limited options on Saturday. Old owners used to have a breakfast option on Sunday. Pizza / ice cream area has SUPER limited hours.

We are sorry to hear you were unable to enjoy our Halloween events. Unfortuantly due to our area our internet is not strong on sites furthest from the camp store. Most Halloween events are held on Saturday. A breakfast food truck or breakfast pizza has been available on Sundays.

There were lots of lose dogs. As a dog owner and parent of small children, it was stressful. Also, people had many cars. The person across from us had their truck in the road, making parking our camper very challenging. People were driving during trick or treating.The final straw for me is the change in booking for next year. I wish repeat bookings were given priority.

Thank you for your feedback. Please make the front office aware of any issues immediately for an opportunity to correct the issue and allow you to fully enjoy your stay. We have decided to change the booking policy to allow equal opportunity. We do our best to stop traffic during trick or treating.

We are very disappointed about the campground and it's customer service. Prices went up, but less activities! No breakfast, magic show. We were on a site that offered cable, apparently the entire park was down, WiFi didn't work work either. We went to the office to discuss it and were told that it's only a small portion of the total package so no adjustments! Absolutely terrible!!

We are sorry to hear you were unable to enjoy all of our Halloween events. Since new ownership in 2021, we have yet to adjust any prices while we continue to learn about the park and campers. Unfortuantly, we have been having issues with our cable TV and struggle to find a company to fix it.

We always come to this campground we came to this one 3 times this year. But this some of campers did not listen to quiet time and our neighbor would let his dog bark at night and not even make it be quiet. We also had an issue with a kid going around to kids saying he was going to kidnap them and wouldn’t leave them alone. Normally we don’t have any issues.

The campground is well kept and had a ton of activities for our kids, however the sites were super tight and just all dirt for $70+ a night. It was also extremely loud. One of our neighbors was blasting music the entire day until well after 10pm. We tried to call the office, but there was no answer. I understand this is not the campgrounds fault, it’s more of a common courtesy for others thing.

First day arriving was a Tuesday and we are pulling a long 5-th wheel of 42 feet, they did escort us to a sight which was clearly to short for us to fit into, had no other full hook up sight, but did have a water and electric sight. They did come and pump us out no big deal there. The night before we left we couldn't get back into the gate, left a message on 2 placesand no one ever called me back

Terrible, site I had was to small for my camper, waist connection to far to reach, couldn't book new site for next season.. Will probably never go back.. after 10 years of going there.. and 6 other campsites from friends said they will never go back.its a shame that it had to come to this , when they just got everything worked out last year..

We enjoy all the activities and friendly workers, also the discount on Thursday night stay to have a chance to decorate our own site for Halloween weekend is truly appreciated.

besides the sandy site during reconstruction, we were pleased with our first stay at this KOA. All of the staff that we encountered, were personable and considerate- even asking if we needed the 1 bag of ice delivered. Great improvements happening, good amenities for the kids, even the puppy park. We will be returning! ¹ï¿½�/10 recommend.

We have been going to Halloween weekends at this KOA for 10 years. We have a group that occupies five sites. This year it was decided that we will no longer get first choice on our spots for next year. We will all have to "try" and book out sites on the 10th when bookings open to everyone. This is very disappointing. We will not be returning next year and will find a different campground.

It used to be our favorite KOA along with 11 other family and friends. Too bad we will never stay there again because the owners lied to us by confirming that an a couple who endangered campers by threatening them with a gun and caused a chaos last year will be kicked out. One of the couples showed up last weekend and broke through the gate at night and they were allowed to stay. No more Emmitt.

We are sorry to hear you were unable to enjoy our activities and amenities during your stay. Precautions were taken, asking the police to come investigate the situation. It was determined the threat was not on site and no concerns. There were no issues throughout the weekend.

It was the first time I’ve ever been there. I was impressed with the helpful staff and the activities available. I will definitely visit there again.

We had issues with power/lights in our cabin during our stay. I also was not impressed with the upkeep of the campground, plants were dead, bathrooms were not as clean as they've been in the past. My main complaint was the continous smoking/smoke smell in the bathrooms. The smell was horrible. We most likely will not be back.

We hope you were able to enjoy our Halloween festivities. Unfortuantly, we did experience power issues for a day. We had an electrician on site and discounted camper stays. Many of our flowers lost their bloom due to the temperature drop. Our staff does their best to keep up with our facilities.

Our stay at the Emmett KOA was outstanding. Receiving texts messages prior to our arrival & during our stay was appreciated & very helpful. We checked in with Katelyn & she was amazing. Katelyn was so pleasant, answered all of our questions & really went the extra mile making us feel welcomed. The activities ran smoothly & everyone in our group had a great time. We will definitely be back!!

we only had time to stay 2 days but it was enjoyable but we were way in back by a fence and it kinda worried me. since we were all alone and we werent close to other campers

When we first arrived we were told no pets in the cabin when we entered the cabin we do as we normally would and clean if from top to bottom moving the furniture sweeping underneath things that don't move and etc we found dog treats in there and it was filthy I suggest telling your "house keeping" to put away the phone and actually clean. And 10 dollars for new towels! Ridiculous.

Thank you for your feedback. We do not allow pets in our deluxe cabins. Our rustic cabins are pet friendly. Our staff does work hard to ensure cleanliness of our cabins, we appreciate this information to better check cleans. We are new to providing linens and working out these policies.

We had a great stay, until Sunday when we received a text from the owners stating that people leaving could use the pull through sites to dump there tanks. We had 2 people pull up on our camp side to dump there tanks and 1 on our off camp side, when they dumped there tanks it made the inside of ours smell really bad. I've talk to the Manger Tony and she didn't really seem to care.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. After talking with you earlier this week, we did remove the auto text immediately to avoid this situation from happening to another camper. We did appreciate your feedback as we try to find ways around the location of the dump station.

Very well maintained and nicely manicured grounds. We had a issue with the power feed at our site, which promptly got fixed that day. Excellent customer service. Will be back for sure !!!

This is normally our favorite place to go. We booked our stay in January because it was chili cook-off weekend. When we arrived, we were told they did it the weekend before despite the calendar on the outside board. No updated in emails or social media posts to update us on the changes. Stay said corporate changes the calendar. I'm becoming concerned of the new ownership practices and changes.

We are very sorry for this confusion. As we step into KOA corporation, we are learning their deals and dates and had a miscommunication on corporate deals. We did honor VKR 2 weekends for our campers. The calendar posted outdoors is 2023 calendar. We hope you will give us another try.

Cabin full of ants, including the bed. Mice destroyed all the food we placed in your cupboard. Lost about $75 in food. Love the campground and personnel, but the rodent and insect invasion was very disconcerting to all. The reason for a cabin, was to avoid such issues. Thank you.

We appreciate your feedback. We do our best to handle mice and ants. Unfortuantly, this is the time of year for rodents and insects looking for warmth and food. We do suggest to everyone to take precaution with their food as one would in a camper.

Been Emmett KOA many times & all experiences have been great except this last one. I booked what was called a "deluxe patio site". It was represented this way online during reservation & on the map that was given to us upon check in. Once we got to the site we saw there was no patio at all. Went up to the office & was told they know it is a mistake but couldn't do anything for us. UNBELIEVABLE!

Had a wonderful weekend at Emmett! Kids enjoyed all the activities and we love how close the playground is! Bummed that the glow in the dark dance party didn’t happen this year- but otherwise a great trip!

I was disappointed that my Tv didn’t work for 3 nights in my cabin..I inquired but nothing could be done.. other than that my visit was ok..

We had a couple problems with lights going in and out in the water side cabins and one with no air conditioning

Another great visit to Emmet KOA. We've been coming for years, and love love the staff, the lake, and the small size of the campground. Already planning to return in 2023 once sites open for booking.
