I don’t know that this is a fair rating. This was our first KOA and only 10th or so private park. We only stayed for the night. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice and well taken care of. The grounds were fair but not great. The staff was superb. Spaces are fairly close together but I think that is expected at private parks. Power was clean and 50 amp.

This was highest price KOA ever stayed at not sure why it's a nice park not a resort. Staff was great !

This KOA was clean but the sites were very small and crammed together. Our door and the next door neighbor's opened to each other. Also, cars were allowed to park along the roadway making hard for RV's to get through. On a positive note, the bathrooms and laundry were clean. The Yakima river ran at the back of the property. They picked up your trash daily which was a nice amenity.

Our pull through site was fine. The only issue with the stay was the poor quality for internet and phone service. At night we were able to use our Verizon hotspot to stream a program.

Sites are clean and roomy. Lots of amenities and staff made registration and guiding to the site easy and fast. Will come back. Wish I had got a spot by the river.

W had a very nice riverside campground. There was no sewer on the site but the dump site was easy in and easy out. Very nice stay.

Very dirty. The grass campsite was filled with garbage, lemon wedges that were left from the last camper, pile of dog crap, a dead mouse, must I go on? No, I will never stay at another KOA, and will tell others not to too. We had just camped all over Idaho and Montana, and this KOA was double the price, and the worst spot of our trip.

The campground is very nice. The sites are shaded by trees which is nice during the hot weather. There is a fenced dog area so your dog can be off leash. The downside is that the campground is next to I-90 and a train line. Bring ear plugs.

Filthy dirty.. we wanted to leave a few days early. They said that it was corporate policy not to return your money once you arrived and had checked in. I checked with corporate offices this is a lie that is not their policy. We had to stay in a filthy dirty uncapped campground for four days.. Would not recommend this campground to anyone. You could smell the sewage every time you went outside.

I really liked it there, nice shaded sites and super clean bathrooms. The folks at the reception where super friendly and had the right spot for me. I would definitely come back to this KOA.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Check-in was easy and very pleasant. We have no issues to raise. It was a good choice and we will stay there again because we will likely attend the Ellensburg rodeo next year.

Our stay was ok. We took our dog to the K-9 fenced in area. Some of the people staying there think its ok to let there dogs run loose. We had to dog run up to us & that was not very cool. This KOA needs to make sure people are following the rules.

We had just purchased a travel trailer in Ellensburg and made reservations at your KOA campground for 3 nights. We had a great stay. Our camping neighbor helped out with setting up our trailer. Everyone is helpful and very kind. We will be back.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Sites and grounds need a serious upgrade, well maintained for age of sites. Pool was very small. Had some activities which were good. Great location. Easy in and out.

It was noisy because of the freeway. The store was sparse in variety. The pool was super crowded. Overall it was nice, but the access to the river was difficult if you wanted to go fishing. I don’t know that I would book there again.

We love the Ellensburg KOA! We have stayed their frequent Mt since we discovered it. The staff is friendly and accommodating, we have probably introduced 5 new families to it as well. The kids always have so much fun with so many activities to keep them busy.

Great pull-in spot on the river. Loved that you have WiFi so the kids could watch a movie at bedtime. You could use another table or two with umbrellas I think. A Little overpriced but not too overpriced to complain. There was a spot available when we wanted it. Great experience. We'll be back soon.

Great park right on the Yakima River. Easy to get to right off the freeway and the sites were good sized. Many places to walk dogs and a great place for kids. The pool was busy. The staff is wonderful and the owner was very accommodating when we had to stay an extra week to repair the wheels on our rig. We had to back up off the freeway and crawl into the overflow lot. Thank you KOA!

The grounds are great and the river spots are the best. Friendly staff, but no urgency. The mens bathroom door locked and several men were stuck inside. When I went to tell the grounds guys he took his sweet time to get there an then couldnt figure out how to open the door. My husband came through with a credit card and opened it. The guys inside were not happy. They did replace that handle later.

The office person couldn’t answer basic questions about the park. The Garbage is to be set in front of your campsite so they can collect at 11 am, looks beautiful with garbage sacks all over, at the dump station the water supply to rinse was a worn out hose 200 feet long that had to be turned on in a muddy mess in the bushes 200 feet away . $84 bucks to live it.

Thank you for your feedback. Complimentary trash pickup is one of the amenities that our campground offers. Trash is to be put at your site curb by 11 in the morning so the trash can be picked up between 11 and 12. We respectfully ask that trash not be left out at your site any other time.

Close to the road, so you can hear a ton of freeway noise. However, the campground was well-maintained, the pool was nice for the kids, and there were a bunch of peddle carts for them to ride. Sites were a little bigger than usual, with some nice mature trees!

This recent stay was definitely better than the last time we stayed last year. Some of the riverfront sites have been improved. My biggest complaint is that the angle of the back in sites are very difficult to get in to. The drive lanes are narrow not allowing much wiggle room to back up. The other issue is that the water spigot at the sewer dump near the entrance was missing.

Horrible pool , not heated!! Should have stated dangerous river we brought our dogs!! Bought 3 nights left first thing in the morning and they did not refund our last 2 nights!!

Due to the hot weather the pool water likely feels cooler than it is but we assure it is heated. The river does move very swiftly so we do not recommend playing or swimming in it. Our KOA does not give refunds for any early checkouts. Have a great day!

Too expensive. There was a fire burning nearby over the ridge in Cow Canyon. The employees had no information on emergency evacuation. Smoke up above us. They should have had at least a print out to give campers.

Had a good time, the cool weather was a nice relief so we could stay outside and enjoy the camp. The cat caught a mouse so she was happy.

We didn’t stay. Extreme fire danger. Had to pack up and leave after dinner. Scary. Hoping for a credit or money back

The no cancelation policy is not ok. The campground is small without much to do. We ended up leaving after one night forfeited the rest of our stay.

A good place to stop in. The laundry did not have a coin machine and it was a bit expensive for a campsite. $71. But that's kind of what you get with a KOA, and this specific campground probably doesn't have much control over that. They had a very clear area to register for the night if you came in after hours, which we did.
