Campground Reviews

We stayed only one night at this KOA, but we enjoyed the pool and cooked out over the fire pit. The carved animals throughout the park were a nice touch.

It was good and convenient to what we wanted to see in the area. Clean

This KOA was a pass threw. The pool was nice and everything was pretty clean. They were good to us and refused us a day because there was a fire near by and the smoke was petty bad.

Small site with no sitting area.

Nice buddy site with friends. Need to get this at other campgrounds.

ppl placed glass beer bottle in front of our vehicle wheel hoping to pop it when we asked them to not have their dog pee/poo there! too many people with open booze walking around, bad example for kids, people up at 2:30 am-very loud!

We didn't like facing our neighbor's door nor did we like the pine tree that was oozing sap all over our picnic table. The kiddie pool was nice for our youngest. The entrance could use a park and check-in lane so those checking in don't block those who are trying to get back to camp.

Very clean, and very nice staff.

It was a very busy summer weekend. The rest rooms were clean. The folks at check in were very efficient. I wish there was a bit more control of pets off leash and quiet time. Overall, still pleased.

Great stay thanks

1st time at KOA. Nice campground and friendly service!
Aug 11, 2014
Could not have a small campfire at night or even light the charcoals, dumb as there were plenty of hosts keeping an eye on everything .We were way to close to the freeway... Could hear exhaust breaks all night.it was also scary to be that close to a the guard rail.. Also we could not bring out any meat to cook as the wasps were everywhere. We had extra small spot as our area was roped off.unhappy

Our first ever stay at a KOA. This campground is very well maintained and all the staff were warm and friendly. Would go back again without hesitation.

Nice river side camp. Lots of tenters on a weekend with lots of kids. Glad our RV is self contained so didn't have to deal with line to bathroom.

Everything was great. Staff were super nice. The only bad thing was the noise from the highway.
Aug 10, 2014
Very clean campsites and pool. Staff were friendly. The only downfall was the location was right beside a highway and we were able to hear traffic all night long.

Average site that has some amenities! We were lucky that we camped on the central pitch otherwise we would have been a long way from he site and passed the overpass, there is no wifi nor restrooms there and it's a walk back to anywhere! Adhere we did camp was unfortunately covered in dog poo,

Nice property right on the river. Reserved back up spot on river and was given a spot that wasn't on the river. Showers were dirty and water didn't drain. Office staff very friendly

great

The spaces were very level but much to close together. The trains were very loud. If I had known before we stayed we might have chosen a different place.

Friendly staff and nicely stocked store. As has been mentioned it right off i90 and highway noise is the biggest drawback...but riverside spots are furthest from highway and quite nice. More recommended for rv than tent camping if noise bothers you.

Units are so close together you can hear your neighbours perfectly inside their unit while inside yours.

We love this KOA. Right on the Yakima River, plenty of shady trees, lots of activities. The staff are wonderful, we've developed a friendship with Paul and Shawna. You guys are great!

Loved the facilities, loved our "NEW" neighbors. Very nice people. Thankful for the young man who pumped our septic for us and got himself into a BIG mess. He did it with a smile anyway. THANK YOU!

Nice stay for Jazz In The Valley. A reservation mix-up was fixed without drama when they could easily have been nasty or made me move spaces. All in all a good experience.

Excellent range of amenities.

Good camp
Aug 06, 2014
Enjoyed the cabin but for the price it would be nice to have cleaner bathrooms and showers.
Aug 06, 2014
We were camped along the river and the site was great. The campground was clean and the staff were friendly.
Aug 06, 2014
Showers were nice. River behind the tents was calming. The sinks for the tent area were both clogged and filled with vomit-like substances. Appreciated not having to punch in a code to get into the washroom.

The area on the river was great. However, I think it would have been more fun if there was some sort of planned activity on Saturday night for the family/kids-(maybe a movie in the park).

Compared to the two other KOA's we visited on this vacation this KOA was a let down. It's location is LITERALLY right next to the freeway. The sites are very tight and there is a lot of tent camping. The pool was nice for the kids and staff was friendly. It's a bummer the location isn't a little nicer.
