Nice friendly staff. The sites are okay but not really easy to pick based on set up of hook ups.

This KOA is really well kept and is quite nice. It is along a really beautiful river. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff that really wanted to help us enjoy our stay!

The park, bathroom and showers were very clean. This park is close to Town and recreation areas, right on the Yakima river, easy access on and off the highway.

It was challenging to get someone to answer the phone and when I finally did they said I didn't need reservations which I said we did! When we got there it was nearly full so glad we did! The site was great that we reserved!

We've always enjoyed this campground and this quick stay was no differeny

The park was great, and well taken care of. The only complaint would be the freeway noise.

We had a little difficulty with our reservations, but it was probably because of poor cell phone reception. Anyway, the person helping us did a great job of getting things worked out, and we had a wonderful stay. It's a beautiful park setting.

The first thing we noticed was how clean everything was. Very pretty setting and quiet. We will be back again!

Extremely dry and dusty. They spent too much time watering the little grass they had. Should purchase gravel to keep the dust down. Bathrooms were pretty clean.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

New gravel coming for 2017 season.

Stayed here for work and everyone no the staff was very friendly.

Older park, lots of mature trees - but like most older parks, sites are very close together. Could hear highway noise, but it didn't bother us in our trailer, even with windows open.Very clean bathrooms, showers.

I have stayed here for 3 events that have been held on the Yakima River with the Project Healing Waters organization for US military veterans and the facility has been one of the nicest and most cordially operated places to stay. It is always a great place for me and I have stayed in the exact same site for the last two times, purely accidentally, it was a perfect spot for my vehicle and boat.

The tent sites are very close to the HWY and it can be noisy with traffic and the train that tends to go by. In addition to that noise there was the noise from the diesel trucks from a group of vets that where doing a fishing tournament.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is posted on our website we have road noise. We call guests who make tent reservations online and advise them we have road noise since we are on the corner of Thorp Hwy. and I-90 off/on ramp. The train is 1/2-3/4 mile from our campground. We suggest ear plugs for guests who are light sleepers.

Sites without sewer connection are over priced

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Basic sites (Water and Electric) in our park are actually very reasonable. We are a few dollars more than a full hook up at a local State park which has no amenities.
Sep 12, 2016
Beautiful. Need more sewer hook ups and a little too close to the freeway as it was noisy from that.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are limited to the number of sewer hook ups we can have because our park is on a river and in a flood plain. Dept. of Ecology mandates regulations on septic sites with our circumstances. If you need a sewer site, call ahead and make a reservation.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are looking into adding more WiFi repeaters to our park 2017 season.

This was the cleanest KOA that we have ever stayed at. Bathrooms/Showers were nice, the Laundry room was nice, the grounds were clean. There was always someone working on the grounds, picking up trash, etc. Very nice place by the river. We really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly. Nice spots, and good WiFi/Cable TV. We plan to come again. Thank you!

After 8pm it becomes anarchy as there is no security or anyone to maintain any since of order. People are partying/loud/rowdy, having fires during a burn ban till the early morning hours when others right next to them (20 feet) are trying to sleep. There are sketchy drunk guys making girls feel uncomfortable. People watching porn and fu**ing in the bathroom-right in the open where everyone can see

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have a security guard from 9pm-2am every weekend during the summer season. We cannot have security cameras in the bathrooms. The fires were propane fires which are allowed during a burn ban. This guest did not come to management with their concerns.

Great facilities every year.
Sep 06, 2016
Great time, thanks
Sep 06, 2016
Great campground in an awesomw location. Had a river front RV spot. Only stayed one night but it was well worth the stay
Sep 06, 2016
We stayed 3 nights over Labor Day Weekend and had a great time! The staff was very helpful and our trip went very smoothly. The only slightly annoying thing was that we camped out in the "outback" area and the closest restroom was 4 porta potties that we a bit gross by the start of the weekend. Other than that it was great!
Sep 06, 2016
It would have gotten all stars had it not been for one of the older ladies who worked the front desk. She was rude and condescending to customers. I witnessed on several occasions her becoming combative with other guests who had been coming to that same Koa for 6 years. Everyone else was extremely nice and helpful. The campground was extremely clean and the amenities were great! I will be back!
Sep 06, 2016
dump should be free

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The dump station at our park is free. It is bundled into the nightly registration rate.

Nice!

It was boring!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When we were raising our children, we had a next door neighbor who used to tell her children when they complained about being bored that it was their problem . . .
