We just stayed one night but was close to highway which was nice, but this did contribute to busy road nearby but once I fell asleep it did not cause an issue Bathrooms and showers were very clean and person I talked to when making reservation on the phone was very friendly. Definitely would stay here again. Only reason giving 4 stars versus 5 is due to the road noise.

the staff was very nice but camp ground was a little out dated and bathroom weren't really handicap accessible like other koa's i've been too. getting to the bathroom from the tent site with a cane was very challenging

We greatly enjoyed our time here! Our campsite was tucked back and fairly quiet, the fishing pond was great, staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool was very clean and so were the main restrooms. The restrooms closest to our campsite were not dirty, but were in need of some upkeep. Overall, a great stay!

Pleasant stay, campsites are a little tight. Bathroom was pleasant & clean but a bees’ nest under the dishwashing station made campers uneasy -reported it & they tried unsuccessfully to rid them. Traffic noise depending on where your site is - need earplugs for a good sleep. Enjoyed the Klip-Klop of horse & buggies, though! Clean pool & nice landscaping-flowers! Friendly & courteous staff!

Beautiful grounds, unfortunate location for tent camping: it’s right at the intersection of two state highways, so without camper walls, it was very noisy.

The text messages were great and late check in was easy. The bathrooms could use some work as well as the showers. The employees were great at unlocking the pool (even if it wasn’t open at the opening time). We had some campers nearby who kept playing music past quiet hours. But it was a convenient location!

Very friendly staff, super clean facilities and upkept amenities. Very nice grounds, even tent camping next to the pond, which had excellent fishing, there wasn’t too many mosquitoes. We will definitely visit again. The sounds of traffic were the only eh, but it was easy to ignore.

East check-in with great dinner recommendations. Our primitive campsite wasn’t clearly marked and reconstruction was being done at our site. A trailer close by blocked the road (marked with orange cones). We were not informed of this. Although we understood the bathrooms to be near our site, they were not (up a substantial hill by car). The bathroom wasn’t clean and the toilets didn’t flush

Friendly staff and clean campground with nice amentities. Only dissapointment is the location, on the corner of two fairly busy roads and across the street from a gas station.

Great stay! Campsite was pretty small, and the bathrooms were pretty foul... the sewage or something. Get some air fresheners or something! We enjoyed the amenities- pool, nature trails, mining, fishing pond, playgrounds. It was a good time. Maybe get a little more food items in the store. Mostly souvenirs, and most campstores i go to have a lot more quick grab items.

It was horrible! We were placed in the very back of the camp were people were staying long term. Junk all over! We had power however the plug I did not work! Worst KOA we have ever stayed in and paid a good price for it!

The only issues we had was the issue with ants and earwigs. It was nice to have a sand lot as it was soft, but bugs like sand. Thursday night we had noisy people staying in the cabin next to us, luckily they left around 10:45 pm. The road noise was a bit much...but I'm wanting to come back and stay in a cabin in august...there is a lot to do for the kids and adult kids!

It was great, haven’t been there for over a year and there have been some upgrades to the store definitely…they have everything you need!… This campground is a nice retreat ( quiet, by that I mean NO loud obnoxious teenagers ( sometimes adults) drinking and becoming rowdy. The bathrooms were very clean as always , we will be back for sure!

I appreciated that there were affordable tent sites that did not have water and electricity. There were a lot of nice sites to chose from. The KOA was nicely cleaned and in good repair. It seemed to have a lot of activities available.

The staff was friendly, but the grounds were not great. No picnic table or fire ring. Restroom and showers were dirty. Pressure in the shower was weak. It was convenient for my stay. I will not be back.

All staff members were super friendly and helpful, the KOA was very clean and extremely well taken care of. The nature trails were wide which was perfect for walking our dog around, and we loved the accessibility to gas stations, dollar stores, an icecream shop, and a subway all within a 3 minute drive. We are already planning our next trip up, this time when the Shipshewana market is open!

Very sketchy & unsafe campground. Facilities are rundown & unclean. The women’s restrooms are under video surveillance. I (a female in her 30’s) had issues with MULTIPLE campers following (2 on foot & a third who came flying up in a truck) me & waiting outside to the restroom when it was dark which made me feel very unsafe. In my opinion this place is unsafe if traveling with women &/or child

Overall good experience, I checked in late when the office was closed but they left me detailed information about where my site was, etc. Bathroom facility was good and clean. I had a short stay and tent camped. I mention the tent part because the KOA, while conveniently off of the Indiana Tollway, it is on a major highway and I was surprised by all the traffic and noise from it, all night.

This was my 2nd time staying here. I was extremely happy that I was getting the same lot as the last time until we realized that ants had taken over that spot. So we asked if we could be moved because we had little children with us. They did move us and still had a fantastic time! It was the first time for my grandkids and they definitely had a blast!

The sand pad we got for our tent was too small and had rock under an entire side of the sand so we couldn’t stake our tent down on that side. The nature trails were not marked at all and we wandered quite a bit, including past a huge burning garbage pile and a dead end and a few circles. Having to remember code for the bathroom was also a bit frustrating as I wasn’t told about it/hard to remem

Angie was extremely nice & helpful. It was wonderful to be able to take my service dog with me everywhere. This is a VERY dog friendly place. I was disappointed that I could not put my tent by my brothers camper. The no was understandable but then when we stayed I noticed several campers that had tents by them. The activities offered for the children was wonderful and everyone enjoyed themselv

Our tenting area was covered in ants which was very annoying. Washrooms we’re just ok. The campground was far from anything we were interested in.

Had a girls weekend with a bridal shower and Bachelorette party. They were very accommodating to all the visitors/parking we needed. Bathrooms were always clean. And they came around frequently to take trash and see if we needed anything. We are considering making this our annual girls trip destination

We had a wonderful time! I have stayed several times, so I knew what to expect and was thankful to return. Unfortunately we had some noisy neighbors in the tent camping area all through the night, so having an emergency number to call or maybe adding a security presence might be something to consider for the future. We also had trouble accessing the wifi.

For tent campers take a pass. The tent sites are next to a road with quite a bit of traffic. They also have a post light right there so it’s quite bright in the tents. Then lucky me, right across the way two guys listening to the radio singing along drinking beers laughing and talking. I called at 10:30. I called again at 11:00. No one answered. I left at 11:30. —p.s The bathroom was filthy.

Really nice tent area, grassy with trees and away from the RVs, although persons with limited mobility should be aware of a steep access road or steps to reach the bathroom.

I arrived to find dog poop and cat poop on my tent site. I noticed a gentleman in the primitive camp site area using the electric on the site next me (which has water and electric) Noisy from the traffic on a major road.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful campground, and couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One of the highlights of our trip was the spacious dog park. It was great to find a campground that truly values its four-legged guests. For families with children, this campground is an absolute dream. The variety of activities available can keep kids entertained for hours. The campground was well-maintained, our pull thru site was level and clean. Overall, our experience at this campground exceeded our expectations. A huge thank you to the staff for their hospitality and for providing such a fantastic environment for families and pets alike!

Excellent campground! The cabins are clean and come equipped with a mini fridge, TV, heater and air conditioner. Pet friendly and awesome staff!

Great campground right outside of Shipshewana. I went there to get a refrigerator installed in my motorhome and I booked the campground last minute. The only thing I will tell you is that the sites especially the pull through are not the most level however, you can level without an issue
