Very nice campground. We thoroughly enjoyed our site, although there are a few we wouldn't have enjoyed too much do to their proximity (view and distance) to a main thoroughfare. Sandy and Jay were very welcoming and accommodating. You can learn a lot about the RV world here if you're interested! All in all, we are planning on coming back to this KOA again.

Personnel accueillant. Beaucoup d'excréments d'oiseaux sur le site et autour. Pas beaucoup d'indication pour se rendre au camping.

Stayed for two nights and it was very peaceful and the grounds were well maintained. Didn’t use the pool or other activities but seemed like those with kids were definitely enjoying it! Would come back for sure!

We were there on a busy Saturday. Campground was full , lots of kids families and dogs but everything was good . A very well maintained and run place.

1- the facilities were really nice and well maintained 2- male stars were super nice and welcoming 3- the brunette woman who runs the check-in is rude, discriminatory and absolutely ruined the experience for us! She ignored us when we went to check in, continued to ignore us helping other patrons that were behind us in line then kept telling me to wait outside for 30min helping all others.

Traveling with young kids - Not thrilled by the nature of the playground. Broken swings strewn about, messy advertising for some pet products taped to dated playground? Also, Our site had a fire barrel FULL of cigarette butts. Sites were ok just seems like some basic cleanliness and safety/amenities for kids was lacking.

WORST KOA WE HAVE STAYED AT. MANAGEMENT IS NON EXISTENT. They don’t answer their phone after hours and allow drunken parties to continue way past quiet hours.

Great location. Deceptive from the road as to the size and site options available

Nice campground, small sites, very busy with one night people traveling through. Overall it’s clean, but looking for something a little more quiet next time.

Our second overnight this summer. We love your campground. When we encountered a problem in the bath house, it was raken care of immediately. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

They need a better check in process checking id’s, we were given someone elses site that was coming later that night, were told we would need to move after we had already set up, wifi didnt work at all even though the tower was near our site, bathrooms were dirty, office area/pool area need an overhaul, amenities offered weren’t up to par. Probably wont be back.

We came to enjoy the flea market in Shipshewana, the RV museum, the amish petting zoo as well as an awesome Essenhaus chicken dinner. My daughter enjoyed the clean swimming pool and she learned to play pool in the rec room. FYI, it looks like a couple of pool balls are missing. We hope to visit again in a couple of years.

Easy on & off. Be prepared to hand over the EZpass transponder getting on and off though, as they don’t have a reader. Great staff

Good quiet clean place, spots are tight, some trees need to go so awnings can come out. Close to everything! Thanks for the stay!

I was put in site 1 - a highway runs with in a 100 ft and has heavy duty truck traffic 24/7 which is very noise. Also utilities are in the middle of the site making it a requirement to have extensions for everything.

This KOA campground in Indiana was a lovely surprise on what could have otherwise been a disappointing spring break. After our initial plans to head south and Camp with another family were cancelled due to severe thunderstorms, we looked into what else was open for camping closer to the great lakes area, and found this campground. A couple calls later and we were all set and arrived and I have a hard time putting into words how wonderful the staff is. They're genuinely friendly and very helpful! Fortunately the campground was nearly empty and we were able to get two nice sites together so we could be next to our camping friends and we all had a great time. While tent camping would probably be OK too, our small travel trailer was perfect. There were some HUGE travel trailers there, quite possibly the biggest I've seen. But there are a lot of pull-through sites to accommode that and all the sites have a mostly-level drive. There are cabins too but we didn't look into the details of those. The kids enjoyed riding bikes up and down the camp road, and there was a little pond which offered license-free catch-and-release fishing. I was not prepared for this (and even more surprised when my son said he wanted to put down his electronics and go fishing with his friends!) so I had to drive a few miles into town and buy a rod and hooks and worms at a local sports shop. My son even caught his first fish! And our friends daughter stayed occupied catching garter snakes. Not that I'm a huge outdoorsman, but it was a very nice parent moment to see all the kids off their electronics participating in nature. There's restaurants and a great donut shop nearby and lots of horse and buggy traffic from the local Amish population. This was nice as it gave us a chance not to gawk, but rather to discuss with our children about different lifestyle choices and possible rewards/challenges associated with that, and hopefully instilled some acceptance of other people's choices. There are a couple nice hiking trails on the campground as well. They're perfect for just taking a stroll through the woods with one little hill to contend with, and a little minigolf course for the kiddos to play on a bit. There is also a fenced in dog run for Fido to do his business off-leash, just please pick up after your pet. I cleaned a lot of old dog-logs just so I/my dog didn't step in it, and was rather irritated that dog owners wouldnt have done that themselves. I imagine in high summer when the campground is packed, it might not be as ideal for a quiet camping trip, but that also opens up more chance for social interaction and those quirky little temporary camp friendships that kids are so adept at creating, so I bet it'd still be fun, just in a different way. Overall I recommend this KOA (more than any other KOA or certain picnic basket stealing bear campgrounds I've been to in the past!), and will likely return, even if theres no other cancelation to drive the necessity. It was just a good time.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful campground, and couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One of the highlights of our trip was the spacious dog park. It was great to find a campground that truly values its four-legged guests. For families with children, this campground is an absolute dream. The variety of activities available can keep kids entertained for hours. The campground was well-maintained, our pull thru site was level and clean. Overall, our experience at this campground exceeded our expectations. A huge thank you to the staff for their hospitality and for providing such a fantastic environment for families and pets alike!
