Cabin Reviews

The staff was very friendly when I had to change our arrivial date there was no problem. This was our first outing with our four legged baby, it was a very enjoyable one. We stayed in one of the cabins. The only glitch was the shower heads ,had to find one that was not half stopped up. I would certainly stay here again.

It was good like always. Everybody was real friendly.

The campground could use a little updating. However, the staff was very kind.

Our hosts were awesome! We had everything we needed right on the premises. Only negative was the noise from I-40.

The road noise from I-40 made it difficult to sleep without the A/C on.

Can't overall rate the KOA just the cabin. We arrived late-left early, both in the dark, on purpose due to our travel schedule. Cabin was dirty, dusty. The bathroom was sloppily added to a basic cabin. Awkward design & poor construction. Still, nice to have with plenty of hot water. Bed was not bad. AC was over desk at face level with air blowing in your face. It was on for us--THANK YOU!

Pros: Friendly staff. They make pizza and breakfast. Cons: The A/C doesn't work proprely in the cabin and the staff told us that they already knew it, but they rent it anyway as a A/C cabin. There is a serious "bug" problem in the restroom. 1 shower on 3 and 1 toilet on 3 were out of order. The only restroom complex is far from the cabins. Mattress really hard. The next restaurant is at 20 min.

We stayed in a kabin at this KOA. It was in good shape. The dog yard was a nice plus. Our dog enjoyed the big space to run free. We were happy to see this KOA served meals and we did enjoy their pizza.

Very pleasant operators. Frinedly, and informative. Located in a central area for sight seeing for a History buff. Employees were friendly and would always saay "how are you" as they walked to their task.

For us this is the best KOA in the U.S. They truly cater to travelers.

Bathrooms could use a bit of a spruce up in the shower areas.

We were on our way home (WI) from a family road-trip to AZ. We love KOA Kamping Kabins because they are all we need--a clean place to sleep. This location was extremely nice (recent remodeling?), quiet and the people were very friendly. THANK YOU!

Very nice campground and a great breakfast in the morning. The folks here were very accommodating.

Very quiet, though close to the highway, you can't hear it!

Staff was friendly! Site is small and shower accomodations were old and barely useable. This KOA backs up immediately to horse ranch stables. Manure smell strong and a guardian dog barked all night long. A cabin neighbor agreed it is bad and said it was like that last time they went through. Would rather drive further and stay at different location. Sorry!

We knew we would be pulling late so they had the ac on for us and left a map and key for us. We got a cabin with a bed and bunks. Didn't stay long left early. No breakfast though. Wife and husband/partner did not cook. Coffee was $1.50 for a small cup which he gave for free.

We stayed at 4 different KOAs on our trip and here twice (once on our way to our destination and on the way home). The cabin was not as nice as some of the other KOAs we visited (it just seemed older/not as well taken care of as the others). It was nice that our deluxe cabin had a tv and bathroom. The bed squeaked terrible! I would say this place is fine to stay for a night and served our purpose.

Bathrooms were clean, but the codes for the bathroom didn't work all the time. No water at the kabin sites. Brand new ac in Kabin 5 and it worked great!

Friendly staff, clean cabins and campground. Air conditioning in the cabin was a definite asset :)
Jul 07, 2013
The staff are friendly. Where the cabins are located is over 100 yds from the bathrooms. Not handy. The grounds are pretty rustic, grass is in poor condition. This property doesn't show pride of ownership. There's a cattle ranch bordering the KOA so there's no shortage of flies. Plenty of ants too.

On our way to California we stopped and stayed in a cabin. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Very nice place to stay overnight while traveling. Very easy to find. Very friendly folks. Enjoyed being able to eat at store. Had trouble with WiFi. Wouldn't pull up websites even though showed connected. With the tornado weather all around couldn't keep up with updates. Suggest replacing tv with small flat screen, mounted on wall above window. Was hard to see such small screen & too high.
