Held every year on the Saturday before Labor Day weekend, the event benefits United Way of Southwest Colorado. 

In 2014, the Brewfest is on Saturday August 23 from 1 to 5 pm at Buckley Park in Historic Downtown Durango. We are planning for 55 breweries and 1,500 to attend.

Authentic, historic rail cars full of stylishly dressed Victorians, cowboys and cowgirls make their way north from Durango into untamed territories ruled by robbers and bandits. Famous, as well as infamous, old west characters are known to travel this route. Bring your sense of adventure and get ready for a fun journey into the past  (Victorian or Old West costume is required for this event). As usual, we have to be on the lookout for robbers when we ride the Heritage Train. Experience has shown that they're getting more aggressive every year!
