They were patient with me as I arrived very late and registered with them first thing in the morning. They also gave me a military discount which I appreciate. Very friendly staff.

The stay was OK. The bathroom was really clean. The campsite was supposed to have power but didn’t. The grass was a bit long at the site and there were a few thistles at the site. The maintenance staff was friendly, the staff at the front desk was a mixed bag, some friendly, some not so friendly.

This KOA for tents has issues. I was given site #4. The picnic table has damaged leg and table itself was chipped & splintered. There is a huge hole next to the picnic table which I almost stepped in. The site itself was dirty, which there was trash meaning that the site was not cleaned. I noticed that other tent sites and they had better tables. I took pictures of site #4 and will forward them.

We've been staying at the Douglas KOA the same weekend for 10 years. The customer service has been steadily going downhill with the exception of 2022. There used to be activities for the kids, dinners, smores nights, etc. Garbage cans dispersed around the site were locked forcing us to use the few dumpsters. The staff was actually rude to my kids. Prices go up, amenities & friendliness go down!

when we check in we were put in a tent site that had full sun their were 3 across the road that were shaded and 2 of them were open all night would of been nice to put in one of them

Everyone I spoke to especially Marlene were extremely friendly and nice. The bathrooms were super clean, and the whole place was nicely organized and easy for my kids to play. Definitely would recommend.

Way too expensive for what you got. The internet didn’t work. The pool was closed for no obvious reason. Overpriced. Will not be staying there again. And all the other 4h state shoot campers are moving to the fairgrounds.

Everything was nice. The only concern was the price on the door for after hours said it included tax but when I got the charge, tax was added again. I emailed them but never heard back.

We were motorcycle tent camping. Roads are all gravel. The tent sites were subpar. They were either extremely tiny or faced the entrance road. The ones that faced the road were at least surrounded by privacy fences. Lots of diesel traffic to the mobile home park behind the KOA. Bathrooms were fantastic. Looked like a nice pool & playground.

We were automatically "upgraded" to an RV site instead of a camp site, as we requested. We only brought tents, so that didn't work for us. Luckily, we were able to move back to a tent site. The restrooms were out of TP and the camp store closed as we were trying to inform them. There was no fire pit.

I rented a tent space without water or electricity but understood I'd have 3 sides of fencing around me. However, I was assigned E007 which only has a side fence, a rear only feet from the main road and two sides open to the fields. I was the sole camper in sites 001-009--a little unnerving for a single woman. The site had 1-2" rocks-- not the "grassly" floor shown in the pictures. Clean bathrm

This is a nice location. I really likes that everything was well-labeled, but the tent sites were down in a little depression, and it was a far walk to the bathroom, especially at 2 am. Also, a sprinkler and hose were left across my assigned site (I arrived after the office was closed so couldn’t make any other arrangements). Bathrooms and showers were clean.

If you're going to close the bathrooms at 10 AM, this needs to be clearly stated for tenters when they check in. I attempted to use the toilet at 10 AM, an hour before check-out time and was not allowed to do so, only to brush my teeth, by a male KOA staff person. This caused a lot of intestinal pain at the time, I ended up relieving myself behind a tree. A modern KOA campground can do better.

For being in the middle of the desert this was a much welcomed oasis. The tent sites have privacy fencing, giving the feel of your own space. Loved the cowboy corral theme. Bathrooms were immaculate. No wonder this is a “Presidential” campground. Only drawback was did t want to hear the staff member talking about his diarrhea from the previous eve.

They were very accommodating and so friendly and helpful. Wish we were closer and could come back more often! Clean facilities and great mini golf.

The only thing missing was the pool. Nice clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry! Great mini golf and basketball area.

Was VERY pleased with reception I received. Price was VERY fair - was in conversion van but all I needed was hot shower and level place to park and was quickly accommodated. An employee even guided me by golf cart to my specific site and "spotted" me while I backed van into position. I have felt other KOA's have overcharged me but not this one. I will absolutely recommend.

We showed up later than expected which wasn’t fun with a tent and four dogs, but we managed. The facility was clean and we took advantage of what we needed on our timeline.

Best Employees,owner and guest, respectful, peaceful, quiet,and beautiful place and location very clean,and the service is unbelievable Jeff is on it no matter what time of day or night it is..His the best his employees Dana and the girls are very helpful and friendly and not forgetting beautiful in and out....on the lowest temperatures we had frozen pipes, truck and ect and Jeff was here after hours to take us to town bringing us cases of water,propane always willing to help in any wa!!!
