Welcome to Devils Tower KOA! The campround is part of the historic Campstool Ranch, which has been in the Driskill family for six generations! We look forward to sharing our legacy with you, at America's 1st National Monument!
Devils Tower soars over 1,000 feet above the campground, along the meandering Belle Fourche River. Every campsite offers a great view of the rock monolith which was featured in Steven Spielberg's sci-fi classic Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The campground features a full service restaurant, gift and sweet shop, heated outdoor pool and Kritter Korral.

Campground Activities
KOA Kritter Korral
We have a petting zoo! We have a miniature Longhorn steer, a calf, bum lambs and a baby buffalo. Miniature horses, mini donkeys, mini pot belly pigs and miniature fainting goats, ducks, geese, and rabbits! OH MY! All these animals up close and personal. You can pet and feed the kritters.
Wildlife Viewing
Our area abounds with wildlife native to the Black Hills of Wyoming. Don’t be surprised to see a whitetail deer wandering through your campsite, or a raccoon exploring in the moonlight. There is also a wonderful collection of birds around the campground, including many varieties of woodpeckers, bluebirds, swallows, finches, robins and the Wyoming state bird, the meadowlark. You may see the American Bald Eagle circling or a flock of wild turkeys along the river.
Climbing
Devils Tower was first climbed on July 4th 1893 by local ranchers William Rodgers and William Ripley. It has been a popular climbing destination and world famous climbing mecca for decades Our resident climbing instructor is available for rock climbing lessons and/or guide service.
