Welcome to Devils Tower KOA, where the magic of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" meets the breathtaking beauty of America's First National Monument. We're thrilled to share this spot with you!
Step into a place where cinematic history and natural wonder collide! Opened in 1979 by Ellen Driskill on the very site where "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" was filmed, this KOA campground has been a labor of love for over 35 years. Now, Ogden and Zannie Driskill are excited to carry on this incredible legacy. They've raised three children- Andrea, Katerie, and Lincoln- on the historic Campstool Ranch, and it's a tradition that continues with the 6th generation now on, and the 7th generation already started! The Driskill Family warmly welcomes you to experience the unique charm and unforgettable landscapes of Devils Tower. That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
