We only stayed one night but it was a great stay. Easy access from the highway and really welcomed the ability to order pizza once we got there. Clean and friendly facilities.

Clean bathrooms lots of space and patios are wonderful - the white gravel is kind of annoying and gets inside but really the facility and staff were terrific

Nice sized level lots for 43’ MH towing. Good utilities placed well, blazing fast internet, easy satellite reception. Very courteous staff. We enjoyed our week stay very much.

Great campground just off of I-80, but far enough away you don’t hear the traffic noise. Staff is great, friendly, helpful. Pool was closed due to off season but the area looked well kept up. We will stop here again when going through.

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds. The facilities were excellent, our site perfect and my fur babies loved the dog park. Beautiful setting and close to Winterset where we came for a family reunion. Very positive experience.

I’ve stayed at a lot of KOA’s over the years. Everywhere from New Orleans to New York. This to me was the best campgrounds, best staff, and the most courteous. When I’m on the road, KOA has always been the best place for me to stay. This place is number one.

Spacious sites. Friendly staff. Great location for following the Madison County Covered Bridges Scenic Byway. Be sure to visit the John Wayne Birthplace and Museum in Winterset. The state capitol is definitely worth the trip into Des Moines. The only downside is the dust, but that’s everywhere in this area.

It was one of the largest KOA s we have stayed at...... but the sites were spacious, well designed. There was a large variety of activities available (although we were just there over night). It was very clean and staff very friendly.......the best we experienced on our trip!

I've stayed here in the past. It is a great campground. The staff is great. It has a 9 ft. Pool. The pizza is better than most restaurants. The store had a great sale. Only issue was unsupervised kids walking though my site. Not the campgrounds fault. Inattentive parents!!!

We stayed for two nights on our way west. The campground and people who work there are great and make you feel welcomed. The only issue was it was a bit dusty.

My dog and I enjoyed our stay. The people were extremely nice and helpful. The campground was well maintained. The pizzas and wings delivered to our RV were very good.

Very nice and large campground. We were there over the weekend and placed in a new section of the park which had us away from all the overnighters, that was super cool with a patio and grill.

The site was easily accessible, but we showed up for after hours check and they didn't have us on the list because we booked online. Glad they answered the phone after hours and were able to confirm the early afternoon online booking and get us a site.

We enjoyed our stay at the one room cabins, very clean. When booking the reservation, the lady on the phone was super helpful in getting us booked and making sure we knew where we would be going for our late check in. Bathrooms and showers were very clean! Thanks for a great stay!

We arrived in the evening and the office was closed. I called Brian and he was so helpful and quick to check us in so we could get out of the cold. The park is so well maintained and you can tell they take great pride in the park and the KOA name. Great place to stay for a night or site see the covered bridges.
