A great KOA! The staff was extremely friendly-everyone! The campground was very clean, the amenities were great! The pizza delivery to camper was a godsend as was the pancake breakfast! Wish we would have stayed longer! Will definitely come back!

great park with an amazing elevation. all the great things that are associated with elevation were there, even some spectacular thunder and lighting. It's a halfhour drive to Denver proper but well well worth the stay........and it would be near impossible to find better owners!!

This place was so clean. Every staff member was so nice and so helpful. If you needed wood, food, beverages they would bring them to you. I would highly recommend this place

Everyone and every amenity is great here! Clean, fabulous bathrooms and laundry! Great hot tubs! Every interaction with staff was warm and welcoming. Only glitch is the road inclines and descents from I70, but the campground is worth the trip. Great KOA!

Our stay was the second time we stayed at the Central City KOA, and it was just as nice as the first stay. The staff worked with us on a last minute upgrade, which we were greatful for. So, a big thank you to them!

The campground is spotless, lots of amenities, and every single employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. Customer service is beyond excellent. Food and firewood delivered to your site. The best KOA in the country if you ask us. The staff stopped at our site and hauled our garbage to the dumpster as we were just beginning to walk there. We will be back as soon as we can. Thank you!

WE stayed in cabin for two which was very comfortable. The campground is very well managed and the staff are friendly and helpful. Only one thing we would change is to have better quality towels in the bathroom.

We stayed through the week to see the sights around Central City. KOA was perfect to explore the area. The campground is clean the staff helpful and friendly. Store has anything you need. We had pizza delivered from the office after a day of exploring.

This is a quiet scenic little gem not far from Denver. Much to do there or nothing at all! Angie at the office is a scheduling wonder and will continue to get you in the camp area you prefer even after making your registration. She is a customer service dynamo!

Per my husband the men's facilities were fantastic. I only used the women's facilities once and they were ok. I went to use the shower at 1:05 after supposed reopen time after cleaning and there was hair all over the shower walls. Laundry was on high side and have gotten free pancakes at other KOA campgrounds.

Ww loved our clean, cozy cabin and it’s location. It was central to all of the great hikes, rafting and, eating places. The people that worked there make you feel welcome and are very friendly. Great place!

Great campground and very friendly staff. The pull-through spots were level concrete with a nice patio set and plenty long. While we didn't use it, the pizza and wing delivery service looked great. Next time we'll plan less meals and use them one night. The store is well stocked and includes liquor. We will return.

Cabin was perfect. Nice amenities, very clean and most importantly, the bed was comfortable! Very pleased with our stay and will definitely come back!

As with all RV parks the spacing is close. That being said the staff was excellent. A shout out to Michael for being so engaging and helpful. I love the location. I don't know of too many parks at 9000 ft in the Rockies.

I have stayed in many KOA cabins, this one by far the very best. Communication top notch. Every staff member I had contact with were professional and pleasant. They really made me feel welcome. Cabin extremely clean, stocked with everything you could need. Outdoor space amazing. So much to do and see. I highly recommend this campground to everyone. I will definitely be back in future.

This is the nicest KOA that we have ever stayed at, and we have stayed at many KOAs with our RV since 2008. The sites are outstanding, and the “paw pen” is a very nice touch, as is the provided propane grill. The cornhole court was great, and the showers were nice and big. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Best KOA we have visited . It was pretty clean everywhere, and that means a lot. Great store and the extras made it really nice. Thank goodness there’s no roadside noise either! We’d come and stay more but we live far away. A beautiful location!

This is the best KOA that my family has ever been to, the cabin we stayed in was absolutely amazing, and the best part was how clean everything was. From inside the cabin to the grounds we walked, every aspect of this campground was immaculate. They even have pizza at night and an all you can eat pancake breakfast! If you have been wanting to stay at this campground, I would highly recommend it!

The staff members were amazing - every single one of them! The cabins are cute inside..everything is absolutely clean. The only issue we had was the wind, but that is outside of the staff's control😁

We stayed at the campground in July 2023 in a 32' Class C motorhome pulling a small car. We were in campsite #2, a pull-in campsite overlooking the Central City area. Campground, store, and laundry area were great. Only "issue" was the route to get onto Central City Parkway to head back to I-70 was a little confusing as cannot leave the campground the way you enter the campground (no fault of the KOA campground). The Hidee Gold Mine tour was close by and well worth the time (be prepared for a rough road to get to the parking area). Central City was not worth the time to visit - very little to see other than casinos.

Wonderful location, we loved that we were so close to walking trails. The campground was clean and the staff was very nice. We loved the store, it stayed open late and had almost everything that you may need.
