The employees were stellar. But we weren't aware what seemed like we were a couple hundred yards from I-70 freeway with constant truck traffic day and night. It certainly wasn't their fault but it made our five night stay less than enjoyable. The Strasburg BBQ Restaurant was excellent and the family was very friendly.

People were excellent and they work hard to clean a clean park, but the view of the RV cemetery behind the park is not fun to look at. Even though the brochure said that part of the park doesn't have WIFI we were still able to get on our phones and use the hot spot. I understand the service is just unavailable in that area.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the kids loved the outdoor movie, pool and tractor ride. I'm not sure we'd come back just because of the location and how close it is to I-70, but overall it was fine.

Very nice KOA. Well kept and bathrooms were always clean. Nice little game room and pool. Do get some road noise from I-70 but it's not terrible.

Overnight stay while traveling cross country. Easy in and out to the park and the site. Staff was efficient. Best quality of this property is location for a safe one night stay.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They have Hunt Brothers pizza that they will deliver to your spot and it is delicious. They also have pancakes for breakfast on the weekends. They are close to Denver. We had a great stay.

The freeway noise is terrible, the sites are close together so no privacy, no trees, and no pleasant views. I was looking at a propane tank. People were nice and friendly. But the campground has no ambiance.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Denver East Strasburg KOA! We couldn’t find friendlier, more helpful staff anywhere else if we tried! Everything from checking in, to eating pancakes from the KOA breakfast truck on Sunday morning, is great. The pool is clean, and so are the bathrooms. The gift shop has a good selection of fun items. Make sure to get some ice cream from the store!

The gentleman that showed us to our was great! A little noisy from highway noise, but that was to be expected sitting along the interstate. Very well maintained buildings and nice dog park.

Robert was very nice in ensuring we got checked in and found our site okay. Parts of the campground are eyesores (not the campers) and there are weeds everywhere. Patio site was nice!

I have stayed here a few times over the last 10 years and it has ALWAYS been a good experience! Clean grounds, friendly staff, and the pizza…..OMG! Thanks for another great experience! I’ll be back for sure.

The complete facility met all the high standards and was well maintained. The amenities were extensive and the catering to children was exemplary. The cabins our family stayed in were high quality and met all of our expectations. The owners are very friendly and accommodating.

We had 4 cabins total. In cabin 124 there was really low water pressure in the shower. My elderly parents were staying in that cabin, so that they didn’t have to walk to the community showers. The water pressure in the community showers were so much better. I think it would be beneficial to plant some more trees for shade. Overall we all enjoyed our stay.

We had a very nice stay. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The laundry area was nice and clean. The bathrooms were clean but a little outdated. Didn’t use showers but they were clean. Our spot was a good size for our truck and camper. Enjoyed the pool! It was clean and well cared for. Overall great experience!

Great customer service! Facilities were clean and well taken care of. Pool was awesome. I wish the pool and store were open a little later than 6pm. And there really isn't anything in the area....would not recommend the restaurant across the street. The pizza at the campground was better.

You advertise WiFi but there is none where They put me. The manager was very helpful and allowed me to get some signal by me setting up in the Game Room. They can have hand dipped ice cream and sell breakfast but WiFi was not available. That is illegal to advertise something you do not have!!!!!!!!!!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our LIMITED internet is available on the campground. Depending upon your devise you might need stronger signal. Our WIFI antennas are on top of the main building. The closer guest come to the main building the stronger the signal. We do NOT have fiber optic like many neighborhoods and homes do.

Nice employees, we were even escorted to our site. This KOA even has a pizzeria on site, which was really nice to have on a rainy day. The pizza was very tasty and the box was a great cover from the hail!

Typical KOA tight sites if the neighbor hadn't left I wouldn't have been able to leave my site. On their map it showed up as a walkway. Hunt Brothers Pizza delivered to site. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and helpful.

It was a good location for a base camp to explore. Didn't like the highway noise or the train tracks noise. Total shame that the live in residents run the place. The one next to us was so arrogant that we had to leave before our stay was up. On a brighter note the campground did refund the time we did not stay. This person next to us was so bad that we labeled her the wicked witch of the west.

Loved the park! Very clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If only the freeway wasn’t so close! It is pretty noisy though you get used to it after a few days. Great dog run area!

We had no electricity but it did get restored. The highway noise is the worst part if your in a tent. I'll probably use this place again if I head back east.

This is a well maintained campground with fairly clean amenities but very close to I-70. Good pull thrus for larger rigs and readily accessible off the interstate. My only cautionary warning is if you have a pop-up camper or primitive tent camping intentions, bring your ear plugs because the interstate is quite loud.

Very easy to get into, even with big rigs. Staff was really nice. It's right off I70 but I didn't notice the hwy noise.

Great RV park! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rented a deluxe cabin and it was wonderful. We will stay again!
