Clean cabin. Bathrooms clean. Nice concrete pad with grill and fire pit. We got there at 6:15pm on a Friday and the office/store was already closed. We couldn't purchase wood for a fire. None of the local stores carried any either. Really disappointed. The road noise is loud but it didn't bother us.

These folks are so friendly and accommodating! Our awning caught a gust of wind and flew over our van, bending and breaking it. Three gentlemen, one was the owner, came rushing over as soon as they saw what happening. They loaned us ladders and other items to remove the awning and helped us lower it to the ground. I cannot speaking highly enough about this crew! Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in your cabin. Very quiet and peaceful. Great staff. Beautiful cabin. Great place to relax and just enjoy

Nice campground. Clean and well maintained. Incredible staff! We suffered hail damage prior to a busy weekend. Staff & owner went above and beyond providing tools and equipment to aid in temporary repairs. They also went above and beyond finding a way for us to stay a few extra days despite the busy weekend. We would definitely stay here again when in the Denver area.

Friendly staff, good dog park, after that? Not much. Located right on the 70 HWY, traffic noise, with an active rail line directly behind the park. Hook ups are at the rear of the pull through and mostly in the neighbors campsite. Sorry but this KOA is rough.

Would probably stay again just for an overnight due to proximity to interstate, this one is just OK. Tight sites, but relatively level. Not sure why artificial turf counts as “patio”, especially when you only get a postage stamp sized piece. Packed campground. Wi-Fi weak.

Staff and owner went above and beyond finding a way for us to stay a few extra days despite a booked up weekend while we stabilized our RV after hail damage. They provided tools and equipment to help us out. We would definitely stay here again when in the Denver area. Super friendly and helpful staff and nice clean campground.

Really nice people, the kids loved the barrel ride, pool, playground, etc. I really appreciated that they tried to pull off the movie night despite the weather.

We only stayed for one night, but the friendly staff made a remarkable impression on us, even in our brief time there. Everything, from the warm welcome upon our arrival to the delightful pancake breakfast, contributed to a comforting, homely atmosphere.

The wagon was so much fun! The owners and family were so kind and such great hosts! Couldn’t ask for anything better. Due to the site being right off the highway, it was loud with traffic. Its a great stop for a quick pull over. Again wonderful staff sharing the kindness

The cabin was nice and clean. The kids enjoyed the pancake breakfast. It was a great time. Wish the pool was opened later than 6pm

Facilities are clean and kept up. Need better posting of store versus food hours. Went in at 5:50 to get an ice-cream and told they closed out 5:30 while office was open til 6 p.m. KOA location is right next to interstate 70 so the traffic noise is constant. Could not get a decent night's sleep even with earplugs in.

Spaces are pretty tight. We had firewood delivered to our site due to arriving after the office was to close. They charge $1 per piece of fire wood. It was a pile of knots and twisted chunks of various sizes. On an up note, the showers were clean and convenient.

It had very clean restrooms and showers .. The patios need a little love !! Wish you would’ve had golf carts to rent .. love the little town ..

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice laundry room. The only downside is the spacing between the camping units. Very close.

TLC is much needed. Section we stayed in our dump hose had to go under neighbors picnic table that is how close we were. Never put out lawn chairs. Couldn’t have fire. Booked 5 nights. Thankfully we were busy all day and into evening. Store was basically empty of goods. Must have campers there long term or just people staying with junk. Positive showers and bathrooms were nice.

Wasn't expecting all of the great amenities and fabulous staff. Nice playground and pool plus gazebo with firepit and lounge area was so nice! Extremely clean bath facilities. They even had a really nice area for the doggos! Strasburg doesn't offer much but the proximity of this KOA to Denver was super convenient. This is a great stop over campground whether going to or from the mountains.

Decent KOA within 30-40 mins of Denver. Not a place I’d stay long term as there’s nothing to do close by but good enough if you’re looking for a place to stay close to Denver. Rv spots are very close together but they have clean bathrooms/showers and the staff is friendly.

Wifi was not “limited”…i would say not existant or useless at best… had to use my own phone data… Location with train coming thru at 2 am and several other times…very annoying to sleep… Staff was friendly and service was great…I wouldn’t stay there again

It was terrible for 78 bucks a night! Wi-Fi was completely useless, the grounds are gross. I understand they just had a hail storm in the area but this has nothing to do with our stay. We used zero of the amenities, the dog park is terrible the other campers did not lease aggressive dogs. We met a pitbull and a German shepherd that bite their owner. This place needs to be leveled. Never again

Our travel trailer had major damage due to hail here. We were told to move to another site. The new site they put us in had broken glass all over the ground that was not cleaned up. Very diificult on our dogs. The staff and manager were not nice at all in spite of the situation. Stay way from this KOA at all costs.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry you also had hail damage from the storm. Like we had talked about, the site you were in was booked for several days and we could not move their reservation. We DID accommodate your need to stay longer and you moved 1 site over. Broken glass was next to neighbors rig, not in your site.

Miserable experience at this KOA. We were told we had to move to another site after major hail damage to our travel trailer. No concessions were made for the store being closed at times and all of the other amenities we paid the higher KOA rates for. Staff was not very nce, including the manager. Will no longer stay at any more KOAs after our terrible experience here. Our advice stay away!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Like you noted the hail storm not only hit your rig but everybody on the campground including major damages to office. Due to those damages our game room and parts of office were closed for repairs. You were offered a refund for nights not used. We accommodated your extended stay you requested.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They moved us to a campsite away from the highway. A recent hail storm damaged parts of their building but they were very accommodating under circumstances.

They were just hit with a hailstorm 2 days before we arrived. There were crews cleaning up debris and rebuilding but all systems were GO. Friendly, helpful management and workers. The campground is clean, bathrooms & showers are clean and running. Laundry has plenty of washers & dryers. On site propane is very helpful. We will stay here again when in the Denver area.

It was wonderful the staff was so willing to help Only drawbacks were close to the highway so the noise of the cars at night buying firewood by the piece rather than by bundle. Hail damage made it so the store was closed.

This is a well maintained campground with fairly clean amenities but very close to I-70. Good pull thrus for larger rigs and readily accessible off the interstate. My only cautionary warning is if you have a pop-up camper or primitive tent camping intentions, bring your ear plugs because the interstate is quite loud.

Very easy to get into, even with big rigs. Staff was really nice. It's right off I70 but I didn't notice the hwy noise.

Great RV park! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rented a deluxe cabin and it was wonderful. We will stay again!
