Campground Reviews

It was ok for an overnighter, but we couldn't sit outside there was way too many bugs. But everyone was helpful and nice at the KOA.

Bathrooms & laundry was clean and well equipped. River spot was serene and beautiful. Spacious campsites. Close to town, but quiet and private. Great owner. Thank you Cass. Sincerely, Leslie

The site beside the river was great. There was no shade at all, the bathrooms were cramped and we lift early. The owner and manager, Cass, was extremely nice and accomadating.

Verry nice lady, but not a campground i expected from KOA.

Wifi was one of fastes in our travel. When they get their cable TV installed, this will be an excellant KOA. It is far enough from the main road to be nice and quiet at night.

Nice park, Too many bugs!

Very friendly staff. But I would like to have been warned about the night time restroom/shower policy of locking every shower/toilet but one female and one male. It was a minor nuisance, but it would be nice to have known before hand.

Relaxing by the River and enjoying the beauty of Gods Creation in the distance from the snow capped mountains to deer ambling on the river banks with the beaver busy at their work. Add a remarkable Lady "Cass" as the Host, and it just doesn't get any better. And if you need more there is History abound, some within walking distance. Stop smell the roses and enjoy Life at the KOA in Deerlodge MT.

This Koa is very quiet. Not a lot to do here. And I had a hard time finding someone to check me in when I got there probably stood at the desk for 10 minutes before anyone showed up.

Let's hope the new owner spruces this up, plants trees, and adds amenities.

The camp itself was a little primitive yet the shower facilities were immaculate. We did some tourist things while there, using the campground as home base. The staff were more than helpful with suggestions and information. Enjoyed.

Most important, clean restrooms and showers-THANKYOU! Friendly host-Cass, and clean, if small, campground. Looks like someone's worked hard to get it that way. We will stay again.

Very crude facility to be called KOA. 3 swings and a slide do not make a playground. No cable TV, although looked like it was being installed, and no station reachable by antenna.

Not like the KOA s we usually stay at.

Great stay and great staff. Staff was so polite and wonderful. Needed ice and the staff actually went to the store in town and got it for us. Wow talk about service. We had a great time. This is such a peaceful Koa. We will be back again soon.

The bathrooms were excellent... Clean, private, maybe the nicest I've seen in a campground. The campsites are small with no privacy. It was ok for us because it was a quiet time of year. I would not go there in peak season.

Wonderful small town feel. Right on the river. Wonderful hosts. Laundry costs quite high.

We found the camoground to be quite barren with not much personality, could have had a lot to do with the weather. However the owner accomated us the best she could despite the cold and windy weather. She was really a wonderful host!

The location in the corner by the river was beautiful. We sat with a fire watching the river life and saw otters, jumping fish and numerous birds. Our best night on our trip so far. Thank you.

First off, it is NOTHING like it shows in the pictures. Second, the owner/manager is almost never there. Third, the bathrooms are deplorable and I had to run the water in the shower for 5 minutes before I got any hot water, and then it only stayed hot long enough for me to rinse off the soap I had lathered myself with while waiting for the water to get hot.

Beautiful spot right by the river and away from the traffic noise of the I15. No Wifi and no cable were disappointing. Host was lovely. Would stay again.

We pulled in in a frigid spring storm. Our host couldn't offer us water and sewer because it was only 12 degrees, but she went out of her way to make us comfortable and welcome and gave us a discount for lack of services. We had electricity, so managed to stay warm that night. We will return there.

We stayed 2 nights in late october so we had the place to ourselves. We chose to camp in the area along the Clark Fork River...great fun to fish 10' from our travel trailer; caught many trout - released all. The sites are very close to each other and no trees so we probably would not stay in the summer when its busy but we would camp here again in the off season. Clean bathrooms/showers.
