Our reservations were made in Sept 2021 for a pull through. I was shocked that we were given a slab of concrete that was basically in the street. No room for chairs or even our awning. However, Gary was very pleasant and got us moved to a back in spot. Not sure why they weren’t able to accommodate our pull through site since a reservation was made in 2021. Pool was great! Would probably return

Nice setting, bathrooms were clean. Spaces where pretty tight for bigger rigs, but doable. Honestly the biggest issue was the owner’s dog roaming loose around the campground most of the time. We couldn’t let our dogs sit out on our patio space with us because the loose dog was going in and out of everyone’s campsites unsupervised. Very unprofessional for a KOA. �

Decided to stay here because of the advertised hot tub and internet. The hot tub was broken of course and the wifi didn't work. The spots so close that you can hear your neighbor fart in their camper when you're in your own camper. The town trolley circles through all day and a random German Shepard was always walking around looking for food. He's friendly but seriously? Never again!

Not easy in and out the driveway is very narrow but the trolley is a nice touch !great owners and staff was very nice ! Town had very little parking ! Gambling at Cadillac Jack was nice ! We had the deluxe with the LP fire pit which was neat !

The owners and staff were so amazing, they were super friendly and helpful! The petting zoo was so fun for the kids to see and they loved the mascot puppies too :) Sites are a little small but they are using the best of the amount of area they have. Will be back!

The people were very nice and helpful & the bathrooms were very clean. I had forgotten how KOA’s pack you one on top of the other, we are not fans of that. The sites are too close together for our liking.

The park was clean and had nice views. All employees/Owners were very kind and helpful. The trolly to town was excellent. Ran on time and had many stops to pick from. The negative was the sites were very very tight.

The spot was nice but the Wi-Fi access didn’t work on the top two tears. The bathrooms were beautiful but they need more to help with all the campsites.

The upper bathrooms are really nice, I loved the themed restrooms, and that it was a single room with shower. The road to get up there is steeper than most KOAs we've stayed at. Our spot was on the smaller side, and our neighbor was unsure that he'd be able to get out with us there.

The staff at Deadwood Black Hills KOA go out of their way to make your stay great. It is well maintained and offers beautiful views. The Trolley stopped right in the campgrounds and takes you to Deadwood. Our grandchildren loved panning for gold and gemstones right at the KOA and boy did they find some beautiful gemstones and for them the fools gold is priceless.

It’s was a relaxing and beautiful stay very close to the town of Deadwood. It’s was high up in the mountains which made our stay enjoyable!

Hill was too steep on the 4th tier for RV and branches in roadway bent our antenna! No great benefits to this campground other than the shuttle to deadwood

Expensive and very small sites for what you’re charging. Your 10pm quiet rule is ignored by most. Extremely bright light on pole right above a tent space is ridiculous. Had we of known the light was on until 4 am we wouldn’t have stayed in this site. Understanding you need spaces used but that isn’t the KOA experience I want to share.

Excellent location. Very tight spot. Owners were accommodating. Stayed here 4 nights. Wi-Fi went out on 3rd day and was not fixed by the time we left. Cell service is not good here. Beautiful scenery.

They advertise heated pool it was not and hot tub it was obvious that the hot tub had not worked for a long time as there was scum in the few inches of water that was in the hot tub. Very disappointing Plus side is a trolley is available on the hour to take you into town for $2 per person. The town was worth the trip!!!

The very courteous owners ensured we had everything for a great stay. There were many amenities in the convenience store and the sites were clean. We appreciated the hospitality on both our stays, great place to stay with family. Thanks from Wisconsin!

Great location, close to town and on shuttle stop. Loved the fenced dog run in the shade of the trees, very clean. The 2 sister goats and donkey were very charming especially when they go for a walk about with the owner in the campsite. Sites were decent, a little tight but all in all were good. Would stay again.

Had a great time! Very clean, the new owners are so nice! The scenery is so beautiful. Our first RV stay of the season - we'll worth it. If you want more that a patio sized space - call and as for the executive sites. Wish I knew about them.

Just a stop over for the night. Office staff friendly. Restrooms nice although not many for the size of the campground. Sewer hook up was hard for my class B to use. Pipe up too high.

Amazing New Owners! This KOA has been thoughtfully restored..beautiful bathrooms with rain showers, very clean. Grounds are very nice, partially wooded, steep. Cozy pull through spots. Very nice pool, kids area and doggie spots. Trolly to Deadwood a real plus.

The new owners are really upgrading. The remodeled bathrooms are awesome with the flat stone shower floors and mosaic stalls. The 2 covered wagons add a lot of ambiance to the campground & area history. We will be back soon.

Wonderful place to stay!! We had a beautiful view and with a gas fireplace on the site we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening relaxing after a busy day of site seeing.

Stayed 3 nights. Level sites with beautiful view in site 38. Had patio and gas fire pit. Showers on that level were excellent. Three individual full bath, modern updates, mosaic themes on walls in each bath. Laundry was pricey but nice and small store for your needs. Shuttle to Deadwood is great if you don't have a car, or if you do, limited parking in town. Nice, friendly staff.

Nice KOA, set up well, easy to access. Has all the hookups, multiple settings. Tent, cabin, campers and trailers and 5th wheel. Great view.

Whenever we're in the Black Hills for the Sturgis rally or just visiting we always stay here. The CG is now under new management but they seem to be doing a terrific job. This time we were tent camping in a site we last camped in back in 2013. I always recommend this place to friends, and those seeking a place to camp while in the "Hills." They also feature a trolley that takes you into Deadwood and brings you back.
