Beautiful property! It's deep into nature in the mountains but with a convenient on the hour trolley into the city. Super friendly staff, well manicured KOA. We will be back for sure. Thanks Gary and Cody :)

Very much enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly. Campground seems to be well maintained. The location worked out well for our visit. Probably the only negative is the very tight spaces, especially width. Slide out rooms really compromise the space for you and your neighbors. However, we realize these spaces were created when campers were not so wide and had no slides.

Sites are VERY close together, but the campground is clean and maintained well. Far enough away from the craziness of downtown Deadwood, but not so far away that you can 't enjoy it. The shuttle is a great amenity as well.

First off they should have never let us book our 36" class A, the space we were in could barely fit us, my slideout could net even be extended without intruding into the neighbors site. To top it off the people to our left told us told us they had been there for several days and that I should not expect to get any sleep since they have been partying until 2AM every night. Horrible stay!!!!!

Located on side of hill, RV sites a little tight but nice. Camp store nice, good selection of craft beer and while asking about the view of hill opposite campground the store clerk said that we needed to see other side and visit Lead South Dakota. Thought it more impressive than deadwood.

This campground is very snug so be aware if you have a larger rig. The staff is helpful to get you into your spot. Shower house is nice but a hike up the hill.

New camper owner- reserved pull through, was occupied when I arrive by people who were already supposed to be gone.. move to tight for me back in but the staff backed it in for me. Staff very friendly. Location is beautiful

Beautiful kampground, especially at the top of the hill. Friendly staff, a donkey, and two goats made it fun. The shuttle to Deadwood was very convenient.

It was a really clean and quiet place to stay. Very convenient to Deadwood and the trolley was a great way to get back and forth. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and put us in a great site.

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners made us feel very welcome. The place was very clean and peaceful among the trees. We loved that there was a trolly that ran back and forth to downtown Deadwood. If we are in the area we definitely will stay there again.

Awesome place. Super nice and accommodating people running the place. As a bonus, the pool was exceptionally clean compared to so many we’ve been too. The owners here are very welcoming and chilled.

We enjoyed the premium site with full hook up, propane fire pit and comfy patio chairs. Staff was super friendly, and my son enjoyed feeding the donkey and goats! Pool was clean and there was a nice camp store as well as trolley service to Deadwood. Spaces were a bit tight, but this was our nicest experience at a KOA!

Nice KOA, set up well, easy to access. Has all the hookups, multiple settings. Tent, cabin, campers and trailers and 5th wheel. Great view.

Whenever we're in the Black Hills for the Sturgis rally or just visiting we always stay here. The CG is now under new management but they seem to be doing a terrific job. This time we were tent camping in a site we last camped in back in 2013. I always recommend this place to friends, and those seeking a place to camp while in the "Hills." They also feature a trolley that takes you into Deadwood and brings you back.
