Great location if you have interest in the Lead/Deadwood area.

Sure, it’s a bit tight, but I fit with my 37’ travel trailer and another guy had his 40’+ 5th wheel so it’s doable if you’re confident in your abilities. New owner has obviously been putting in a ton of work to update. Pool is great and very warm. WiFi not great when people are up, but works well at night for downloading for the next day. It’s on a hill so ask the trolly to drop you o

Amazing campground!!! Very clean and well cared for. Courtesy of staff was fantastic. Amenities surpassed our expectations. Great job KOA staff. Will be back again.

Arrived late and were still assisted by new owners which made check in easier. This site has 4 levels as it is on a hill, and we were on the 3rd. Great site, easy to back into. Cool looking cabins. Bathroom had a spider, but they were clean. The staff was super helpful. I would go again.

We stayed in a simple cabin, and like always, had a great time! The staff at the Deadwood KOA is all great and we love staying there and riding the trolley into town.

The new owners are amazing. Super friendly and a great place to stay.

New owners are very friendly and helpful! The campground is clean and easy to navigate if you aren't too big of a rig. The spots and drive are kind of tight so make sure you are honest about your size so you can fit.

We had a great time! My kids loved the pool and playground. It was a beautiful view

Great stay, convenient to drive to a lot of sights to see in black hills. Friendly owner.

Loved it

All spots were very tight. Tow trucks had to be parked on ends due short lengths of spots. Neighbors not home to move tow truck so we could get into our spot. Our slide outs were almost touching the other trailer on both sides. The lone trash dumpster was over flowing with trash and people were placing trash bags on ground. Trash was found blown into our site every morning. Never again.

They went above and beyond for us! Trolley wasn’t convenient for us to get to the Days of 76 rodeo on Friday. So they made special arrangements for us. Thank you again!

The grounds were always kept clean. This campground is in a beautiful setting. We stayed in the sleeper cabins and they had a great deck area that really came in handy.

New owners are making great updates!

The sites were way to close and cramped. We barely had room to open our slides.

Extremely small sites. We couldn’t even open our storage doors without moving the picnic table. No place to park our tow vehicle. Not just us but every camper on our row row had to move their trucks several times a day to let people out or new campers in. The owners were friendly. Just too small. We only have a 24’ camper with no slides.

Just need to dust the ceiling fan and air conditioner. great stay otherwise.

The row our space #16 was in was really tight, difficult to park tow vehicles without being in the way if someone. The park is built into the side of a steep hill so space is limited. But otherwise everything was great. Really clean & well cared for, friendly & helpful staff. Highly recommend this park.

Close to Downtown Deadwood, but very tight for a motorhome! We were directed to go to our site via the exit route to be able to back in at the proper angle. We could barely open our slides and awning with out overlapping the sites seating area next to us. Nice hosts, but tight campground for a Class A. They should tell you about that and the steep elevation on the website prior to booking.

Space and roadways were tight and not well marked. Not all roads were obviously marked. Our 30 amp service plug appeared broken, we used the 50 amp. Shuttle to town was a plus. For a Holiday KOA it came up short. New owners took over business in July. Hope they make appropriate improvements.

Wonderful, friendly owners and staff.

Backed up plumbing in dirty restroom/showers. Not allowed to have campfires. We made coffee and the tap water tasted like a garden hose, so our coffee did too. No stairs down the steep hill from Gold Hill campsites. We were spoiled by the KOA in Hot Springs, ND which was $20 cheaper. KOA in Deadwood needs an update.

No room in between site’s no parking hard to get in and out of camp site

Pleasant, convenient with $1.00 trolley to town. Bath houses were clean. Only drawback is the spaces are tight.

Had to stay a cpl more days because it was just so awesome

The owners are very welcoming and friendly! Cabins are private while still promoting a sense of community! Beautiful campground, home-y cabins and wonderful services such as a pool, hot tub and hourly trolly that takes you to Deadwood.

Great people (they are new owners). The bathrooms were clean and a lot of repairs and upgrades behind the scenes going on. They are friendly and fair. Highly recommend staying here.

Campground was clean and the accomodations were nice. The sites are cramped and hard for people to navigate parking.

The owner was extremely friendly! The campground was also very well looked after and clean all around! Would definitely go again!

It seams like there isn't enough room for vehicles. We being the guy next to me and myself had to move our trucks every time someone came in with a trailer across from us. Otherwise they wouldn't of been able to even park there rigs?

Stayed two nights in a tent spot and the area was clean and quiet. The restrooms and shower were better then I was expecting.

Reservation requested space for unit with 2 slide outs. Area to small for both slide outs to be extended. Units beside ours also extended into our area.

Whenever we're in the Black Hills for the Sturgis rally or just visiting we always stay here. The CG is now under new management but they seem to be doing a terrific job. This time we were tent camping in a site we last camped in back in 2013. I always recommend this place to friends, and those seeking a place to camp while in the "Hills." They also feature a trolley that takes you into Deadwood and brings you back.
