Late Check out is available. Please talk with the front desk, and for a $25 fee and pending availability, we will let you check out by 4:00 pm. Late check-out is unavailable for cabins and glamping tents.

Laundry: Open 24 Hours

Quiet Hours: 10:00pm to 8:00am

Pool Hours: Our pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day during store hours. 
No lifeguard on duty. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult when enjoying the pool. Please, no glass, pets, or running.

Cafe: Open Wednesday - Sunday for pizza, ice cream, and more! Hours may vary, check upon arrival.

Wildlife

Various types of wildlife big and small may be found on and around this campground. Be alert and give them distance and respect. Keep dogs on a leash and properly store food, trash, and cooking supplies. For the health of the wildlife, please refrain from feeding the animals. Your safety and the future of our wildlife depend on you.

Late Arrivals

If you plan to arrive after our office is closed, please head to the Night Registration area located outside the Registration Office. Please contact the campground directly for additional instructions.

Cancellation Policy

RV Sites: 48 hours prior to reservation $10 fee, within 48 hours forfeits first-night deposit.
Accommodations: 7 days and prior $10 fee, within 7 days forfeits first night deposit.
*Cancellation policy may vary for extended stays, special events, and holidays.

Golf Cart and Alternative Transportation Policy

While you cruise around the campground, make sure to follow this policy and campground speed limit. The laws of the road are still in effect in the campground, please make sure to stop at stop signs. Let's keep the lights on after dark, and make sure your transportation only carries the recommended number of passengers or less. We want everyone to be safe, with only licensed drivers operating motorized vehicles. If it has wheels, please follow these safety guidelines.

Pet Policy

Traveling with your furry friend? We have a Kamp K9 for our four-legged friends to stretch their legs. Pets must be on a leash outside of the dog park, and we ask owners to do their duty and clean up after their pets. Pets don't like to be left alone, so please don't leave them unattended. Due to health and safety regulations, pets are not allowed in any buildings, pool area, and other signed locations. *Certified service animals excluded.

Visitor Policy

All visitors must stop by the office prior to entering the park and pick up a guest pass. Visiting guests permitted until Quiet Hours and must adhere to campground rules. Overnight guests need to register at the front desk. Visitor fees may apply

Vehicle Policy

1 parked vehicle per site separate from the recreational vehicle. All other vehicles can go to overflow parking in the back of the park. Registered guests are also asked to park in overflow.

Number of Guests per Reservation

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, strict limits are enforced on the number of people who may be at the campground per each reservation. 
  • At check-in, you will be asked to verify the number of guests staying at your site.  
  • A limit of 6 or 8 people per site (depending on site type) will be enforced. That total number includes both the number of people on your reservation and any day visitors.  If you have the maximum number of people on your reservation, day visitors are not allowed.
  • RV and Tent sites are limited to 6 people per site.
  • Camping Cabins, Deluxe Cabins, and other Lodging are limited to 6 people with exception of the Deluxe Cabins which sleep 8, these are limited to 8 people. 

If the number of overnight guests on your reservation allows for day visitors, those day visitors must check in at the front desk upon arrival. Your visitors are welcome for $7 per additional adult. Visiting guests are permitted until Quiet Hours and must adhere to campground rules. Should day visitors turn into overnight guests, they must register at the front desk.

Trash Pickup

Please place bagged trash next to the road at your site by 4:30pm for pickup. Wildlife frequently visits, so after 4:30pm use the dumpster locations for immediate disposal.

Speed Limit

5mph. Campgrounds are full of kids on bikes and campers walking dogs. Please be sure to keep to the slow posted speed limit.

Site Requests

We understand that you may have a particular site in mind when booking a reservation at Dayton KOA. To accommodate these requests we require a $25 site request fee which places a lock on your reservation. Due to constant renovation and updates to the campground amenities and sites, we cannot guarantee that the site you request during booking will be the same site upon arrival. Should the site you requested upon making your reservation be changed for any reason, you will be contacted by a staff member prior to your arrival. The site request fee is refundable should your request not be accommodated due to extenuating circumstances.

Directions to the Campground

East bound on I-70: Take exit 24 make a LEFT at the first stop sign, onto Brookville-Salem Road. Take a left at the light onto South Dayton Greenville Pike. Then you will take a left onto Pleasant Plain Rd where Melody 49 Drive-In Theater is located. Go to the next stop sign and turn left onto Wellbaum Road. Turn left into the campground before you cross the interstate.

West bound on I-70: Take exit 24, yield to the right. Go thru the traffic light intersection and make a left onto Pleasant Plain Rd where Melody 49 Drive-in is located. At the next stop sign turn left and then turn left into the campground once you see our sign!

Sasha Lippart

Making memories, one campsite at a time!

Before finding her home at KOA, Sasha Lippart left her job, sold everything she had, and traveled the country for two years in her camper van. Sasha began her journey at KOA as a housekeeper and has since worked her way up to General Manager. She is bringing her love for the outdoors and her many years of campground experience to Dayton KOA Holiday. You can find Sasha, her fiancé, and their dog out hiking, overlanding, kayaking, and exploring the great outdoors.
