Great campground, great Hosts! I loved the privacy fences between tent camping sites and clean bathrooms. Its closer to to a lot of the attractions without being overly crowded. I will gladly return here. Thank you

When I came in on Thursday night, I was stressed. I had worked a full day, and I had a crying nanny in the car, the thought of setting up a 3 room cabin tent and getting my kids to bed in the night was stressing both my wife and I out. However, the team at KOA were ready for us, the had painstakingly picked out our 2 tent sites to be near each other. The came with a smile, and made it easy. Great!

Wow! We loved everything about our experience staying at KOA. The staff was extremely friendly, the water and electricity at each campsite were great for new campers, and the bathrooms were some of the cleanest we've ever seen at a campground. Thank you for an excellent experience!

We arrived late night which the staff accommodated. The only issue I had was arriving late made it very hard to find our spot to camp. The map was great but the site marker itself was hard to find. I also didnt know where I was supposed to park. I suggest putting the marker closer to the road because I had to get out and search for it with a flashlight. Other than that everything else was amazing.

Staff were wonderful, bathrooms kept clean, and public areas well-maintained. Complaint: The reservation process did not include key information about the sites. With 3 kids under 8, we found ourselves in 90 degree sunlight for dinner -- NO SHADE. I'd have reserved elsewhere for these important hours of campsite use, had I known. Like most visitors, we explored the Black Hills during the day.

Wonderful time and stay here! The camp host allowed a couple of families a few extra minutes on the jumping pillow after the posted closing time. We all had fun! Also, my reservation confirmation was unclear as to whether or not my tent site had electricity. I emailed and received an accurate response within a day. Overall, a great KOA for all ages! Highly recommend!

Friendly and exceedingly helpful staff took great care of the whole facility during our stay. Clean facilities and accommodations. We would love to stay hete again.

Campground was clean and well laid out. Plenty of activities for my Grandchildren. Restrooms and showers were clean and in good condition.

We reserved a primitive type tent site and were very pleased that we had so much room. The site sat in the pines and shade was easy to come by. The campground was spacious and quiet and had a wealth of amenities for all interests/age groups. Definitely would stay here again, whether in a tent or an RV or cabin.

This place lost some points with us because there were a couple of staff that were incredibly rude, unfriendly, and unwelcoming. It was an unfortunate model for my kids to witness and hear.

Great place to camp! The sites aren’t very private, but we asked for a more secluded tent site if possible and they definitely chose the best spot for us! The staff are super friendly and helpful, clean/well maintained bathrooms + showers!

Amazing! Love the text feature with my reservation details. I received a call to confirm my late arrival with clear instructions to get to my tent site. Rocks were left behind to secure our tent in the sand. Bathrooms were clean and I like that a garbage bin was next to my site. Prime location near a grocery store, gas and town. Definitely staying here again.

Very pleased! I have camped my whole life but had never stayed at a KOA until this trip. Used KOA in several states including yours and will always use KOA from now on!

We stayed in a campsite. It was our first time ever staying at a KOA with our family. The first impression was not great because others have told us that people are crabby at KOA's but we tried it anyway. As soon as we came out from checking in. Two RV's had pulled up and locked us into the parking spot glares came our way as we drove through it and didn't yield to the RV's. After that great!

Everything was good. It would be nice if separate bins for recycling were offered and if the tent spaces were a little farther apart, but I understand that can not always be done. Enjoyed the stay.

This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again.

Our 2nd time camping here! Loved it 2 years ago & just as much this time! We splurged for a patio site this time & it did not disappoint. Nice, comfortable sites, clean restrooms & laundry area, well-kept grounds, super friendly & helpful staff (Special thanks to John & Janny, who were amazing!). Beautiful location & positioned perfectly to easily explore so much of what the Black Hills has to offer. Nice to be able to come back to your campsite after a fun day of exploration & be able to relax comfortably outside with a nice fire (some of the KOAs where we stayed on this trip, simply did not have enough room between sites to do that comfortably). We certainly hope to return...love this area & this KOA is one of favorite campgrounds in the US!
