The campground was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and gave us great information for sightseeing around the area. We were close to everything. The town of Custer was a short distance away. Great place to stay.

Nicest campground I've ever been to. The people were super friendly and helpful. So many amenities, nice clean bathrooms, good coffee, everything was great and it even had a fenced in area for people with dogs. Awesome place!!! 100% recommend.

Great base camp for day trips to all Black Hills attractions. Friendly staff and clean bathhouses. Onsite restaurant was convenient and had good food.

Great campground. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities are very nice. The location is good for day trips to some of the most beautiful sights in the US.

Had a wonderful experience and would come back again. Long pull thru site for my 42ft motorhome and 24ft enclosed trailer. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The campground is in a good location for several tourist attractions.

Amazing location outside of Custer and close to all the attractions. The staff was great and helpful in making suggestions on what we should see. The park was very clean and our site was great- concrete pad with a concrete patio with table, chairs, fireplace and two burner grill with propane. One of the best KOA’s we have ever stayed at.

Parish was out first encounter and he was awesome! Helped us get backed in and set up and gave us a helpful itinerary to skirt all the Sturgis participants.

The staff was very welcoming on our arrival. We tent camped and found the grounds to be very clean and felt very safe.

Stayed in a deluxe cabin very clean and comfortable staff was friendly and breakfast was very good and the KOA Is close to all the activities in the black hills.

Wonderful scenery. Nestled in the woods. Close to many attractions. Staff was wonderful. Very helpful with getting into our site. Met yhe cooks. Wonderful people.

Didn't like the shower situation. Needs more showers. Was very accommodating and allowed us to leave our camper at the koa while we explored during the day and came back later to pick it up and continue on our trip.

We had a tent site reserved and changed to one of the cabins. Would definitely recommend camping there. Staff is very friendly plus Parrish gave us a lot of information on things to see and do in the area. Also enjoyed the Cafe for Breakfast.

We booked to days, but ended staying 3 days. Janny, was ready to help us. All your crew are wonderful and cheerful at all times. The breakfasts where always a hit. Our cabin was our 25th anniversary gift to each other. Thank you so for being so caring and loving to everyone who stay at your park. God Bless you all

ENJOYED VERY MUCH..CLEAN, FRIENDLY , VERY HELPFUL , CONSIDERATE AND KIND. CONVENIENTLY CLOSE TO TOWN , ATTRACTIONS AND EASY TO FIND . SITE WAS CLEAN ( DID NEED SOME MOWING ) BUT VERY NICE. NEVER USED THE FACILITIES ( SHOWER,RESTROOM,POOL OR CAFE) BUT APPEARED TO BE WELL RECEIVED.

John and David were very friendly and helpful and wanted us to have the best stay and visit. The amenities were in great shape and clean and the campgrounds were clean and the hookups were easy to access. The campground location made it easy to get out and explore the area

I enjoyed the area and the cabins. However.. The bathrooms needed cleaning or checking more often. The Washer and Dryers were pitiful ( 4 W/D for hundreds people staying there?) I think you could do way better!!

We love Custer KOA and always stay here when we come to the Black Hills. The staff are wonderful and made us feel like family. The grounds are well maintained, which is not easy with all of the crazy rain we got! The bath/showers were immaculate as well as the laundry and main building with office/ store/restaurant, and the pool area. The staff works hard to give the best experience. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this KOA. Very close to all the places to see in this area. We loved Mount Rushmore and it was the highlight of all the different things we saw the few days we were there. Also, it is very near a very nice 9-hole golf course closer into Custer. My brother-in-law and I played this course 2 days in a row and really enjoyed it.

We stayed in the lodge. It was clean, three air conditioning units very comfortable. The staff was so helpful and nice. The pool was refreshing. The grounds were clean.

This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again.

Our 2nd time camping here! Loved it 2 years ago & just as much this time! We splurged for a patio site this time & it did not disappoint. Nice, comfortable sites, clean restrooms & laundry area, well-kept grounds, super friendly & helpful staff (Special thanks to John & Janny, who were amazing!). Beautiful location & positioned perfectly to easily explore so much of what the Black Hills has to offer. Nice to be able to come back to your campsite after a fun day of exploration & be able to relax comfortably outside with a nice fire (some of the KOAs where we stayed on this trip, simply did not have enough room between sites to do that comfortably). We certainly hope to return...love this area & this KOA is one of favorite campgrounds in the US!
