Great campground w/ good amenities. Clean bathrooms too. Only issue was that at 5:30 am, homeless people (1 woman, 2 men) were taking showers in the bathhouse in the back of the campground. The woman was in the shower for over 45 min! Didn't think there would be any hot water left. Luckily there was. I would recommend coded locks like they have on the front bathhouse or a gate at the entrance.

Very nice , you are right in the Redwood forest, no frills but clean restrooms and a small store. Easy to get to the fabulous Jedediah Redwoods from there

This KOA has a very limited number of RV sites with hookups. Our back-in site had the water and electricity on the wrong side. We ended up heading in. The trailer next to us (and a few others in the park) looked like they’ve been there for a very long time and junk was piled up all around the site. The restrooms/ shower houses are in serious need of updating. The cabins looked nice.

Nice sites, the kids loved the goats and chicken. Had to be very careful with our bikes as theft is a problem. Our bikes were okay, but the neighboring rv had their good bike stolen. Despite signs that only registered guests can use the facilities, a member of our group saw three homeless people who who came in so the woman could shower just before sunrise.

One of the main reasons we stay here is because the the walk through the redwoods. We were very disappointed to see the trails blocked off and dozens of trees cut down. I sure hope there is a good reason for this.

Great location to the redwoods. We really liked the privacy of the tall trees at our site. The lighthouse was fantastic!

The restrooms were wide open and not very clean. The layout of the campground itself is confusing, and I didn’t see any employees around to help. We did like being in the redwoods, but that’s about it.

When I went to check in, there were signs posted stating that I need to lock everything up because people come into the campground at night and steal things. I almost did not check in. They also stated that they are not responsible for any losses. They don't have security or security cameras. I will not stay here again and would not recommend staying here. Welcome to California.

Was a return trip for us because we like the location. My locked bike was stolen the second night camping. Then noticed a sign for people to be aware of rampant bike theft in the area and the campground is not responsible for loss. Seems like more could be done security wise to stem this. As a result of my loss it was difficult to feel safe/secure during the remainder of our.stay.

The stay was top notch, Julie was very accommodating when we made the decision to stay another two nights and requested another spot among the trees! Julie also was very informative about the area and the printouts for the three tours is amazing! We found your KOA park to be the best of our trip over 3000 miles from start to finish and many KOA parks in between. Thank you.

The park is beautiful with all the trees! The manager was very accommodating to allow us to change our site upon arrival. Very quiet!

we were given a tiny site c4 next to a a cabin. very little space. and there were many other sites open. should have asked for partial hook up. staff should ask if they prefer a nicer site that is W/E only. those sites were better. for the $ i would not recommend it.

We were disappointed by the extent to which their formerly lushly forested sites have been cleared. It is still an adequate KOA campground, but it’s no longer uniquely beautiful and there is less privacy now.

Our RV sites were good. The playground was nice but it needs some TLC and a garbage can placed nearby. Tree work was going on (understandably necessary)and it stopped at 5. The work in the camp garage could have stopped at 5 as well. The laundry was reasonably priced. The store was adequately stocked. They had a great information wall of stuff to do in the store.

Great location, clean camp/facilities! We had no noise issues, so sleep was uninterrupted. While there was a bathroom stall, shower stall, and washer/dryers out of order, we weren't waiting in line to use any of them. The kids enjoyed the Game and Rec Rooms a lot, as well as the playground. We can't wait to come again!

Needs some work. Our site was dirty. Nobody took the time to sweep the patio area, which we paid a premium for. We were informed by kids that bikes were stolen and to be careful. I didn’t feel safe at that point. We immediately took the bikes out of our truck bed and put them in by our trailer. Also, the sewer connection looked full, so we didn’t use the sewer connection. Kind of disappointed.

Unfortunately this KOA has a sewer problem. Sewage was coming out of the sewer at our site and others we walked through. We couldn’t sit outside due to the smell. We called the after hours number and never received a call back.

It was so nice and clean. The people were friendly and the kids had a blast making friends and riding there bicycles. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Was my 70th Birthday. We had a camp Spot, with water & electric. My son & Family got a cabin right next to our site. It was very convenient. People at registration Was very helpful . Park & facilities was very clean. Easy to locate on Hwy 101. Thanks for nice 4 days����

We stayed at this KOA several years back and the experience was nearly magical. Camping in the huge trees felt like stepping into a fairy tale. Now most of the trees have been cut down. Add to that, there is a severe lack of staff meaning that the bathrooms were always disgusting and you could never talk to anyone because there was no office hours. We will never be back.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Very accommodating to my needs. Beautiful setting up against and among the redwoods. Other campers were all respectful of space and quite times. I love KOA Crescent City. Clean, safe and family oriented, though I was by myself with my two dogs and it was great. I have been here before and will be back.

On arrival I signed into the office and received our map to our spot, arrived at our spot and went to setup and when hooking up my electric I wasn't aware that the koa staff was blowing out the sewer line with a high pressure system which blew the raw sewage up into my face. So I spend the next few days of my vacation with my eyes swelled and pink eye for the next week long. Avoid this campground

The staff is pleasant, clearly working hard to keep it going. The location is excellent for a Redwoods trip. Our spot was smallish, but clean, quiet and checked all our boxes. That said, the forest area locations look like a scene from LOTR, Mordor! Our site was not in that area, and I am very glad. Rather tragic really. KOA someone needs to get in there and help spruce it up before it's too lat

We really enjoyed the area. We got our fill of the redwoods in the parks nearby. Redwoods even in the campground!

Stunned that this site is rated a Holiday. It was unkempt and the store closed early every day. The hours posted were 8am-9pm. At 5:00 the first day it was closed. At 4:30 the next day it was closed. At 8:40am on checkout the store was still closed. We could not get ice and necessities there. There was someone at the desk each time we tried the doors but she would not open the office.

They recently removed a good portion of the redwoods from the park so the general ambience was diminished. The cable was 4 grainy channels that were unwatchable. The restrooms were dated and one shower was closed. The quality was below KOA standards. Wifi was only available close to the office .

Really great KOA, cabins are in the midst of Redwoods. Clean campground overall. Office hours are not that great, 10-3 only.
