We stayed 2 nights in May with our 4 kiddos. The site was alright (good hookups and decent space between campers). The town itself is not necessarily a destination, but we would probably stay again if we were passing through. Good rates, a little playground for the kiddos and close to the highway.

Beautiful sunset, easy check-in, nice site and bathrooms. 24 h laundry is great. We would stay again.

Office closed when we arrived at 6pm, with no notice of where to camp in the late arrival board. We had a reservation, so we just picked a spot. Pretty basic KOA, but it met our overnight needs.

Great Campground. The restrooms were well maintained, and super clean. Only thing confusing was that the office/store had the sign flashing “open,” when it was locked up. This when we came in at 4:15 in the afternoon and left at 10:15 in the morning. Would have loved to say “thank you” to the Camp hosts. Thanks for a great little safe harbor in some very nasty weather.

Power was out and had been for several days. No one contacted us to make us aware of that so we had to find somewhere else to stay. Very disruptive

The caretakers were really kind and Allen was readily available for any questions. Internet was good for streaming movies during the chilly October nights. Warm and clean bathrooms. Showers were good, constant hot water. A lot of atv trails in the area. We enjoyed our time here.

It was great. So refreshing to be wanted to stay and treated with the utmost respect. We had stayed 5 nights before in a KOA in three forks, Montana and I wouldn't recommend that one to anyone. But here in Arco we had horses with us and Allen (the owner) even found us a place for them nearby. Very quiet and easy access. I used the washer and very clean and convenient. Great place to stay.

We had a nice three day stay here in Arco, ID at the Craters of the Moon KOA. FHU Pull Through site - all was good. Unfortunately besides the National Monument Park (which was awesome) we did not find anything else to do in the immediate area. The small town of Arco didn't have much in terms of restaurants, parks, etc so we felt we could have got it all done in a two night stay, maybe even one.

We stayed 2 nights. Place could use some updating. A bit worn. We liked our site. Hook ups were good and staff were friendly.

I didn’t stay. I visited Crater of the Moon, then I turned around and drove 70 miles to civilization even though I was tired. The town of Arco had a very bad vibe of depravity. I didn’t feel safe there, which is concerning because not much frightens me.

Just a quick 1 night layover. Park was clean & Quiet. Just what we wanted. Came in from the North, and almost missed the sign, and my turn!!

Our stay was nice. It was real quiet there at night. We appreciated the KOA's proximity to the Craters of the Moon National Monument.

We made two reservations in March for an August stay and requested the sites be side-by-side. Request was ignored. Very inconvenient for our party of four traveling together.

People managing this camp were very friendly. Site was rather simple, little grass (drought) but level and well organized and dog friendly.

Friendly, great power and water. We were down wind of several coralled horses. Grass and trees were not green and inviting (inspite of the hot dry summer, where I thought it would have at least looked like the irrigation system had been used. No electricity in the very clean and bright bathrooms.

Was told our surge protector was a piece of junk when it told us “open ground” and then would shut off. (We had been using that surge protector everyday for a month. we also tried it on near by spots and it worked fine.)

I cant really give the area a good grade since its a bone dry region and dusty. But as a stop for a few days to visit Craters it was fine. The neighboring property with its signage and cult like feel should have been added as a attraction. Unfortunately I wont be back.

Nice campground, clean showers and as close to the Craters of the Moon as you can get. Also, the cell service at the campground is a good as we have had while traveling.

I find it worrisome that the outlet didn't work and that when I told the staff that, they didn't believe me. I ended up plugging into an outlet at another site. The outlet did get replaced but that could easily have become a fire. I also was bothered by the fact that despite the fire warning I was given at check-in, others were burning fires and there were no notices posted about fires.

it is average with nothing good or really bad with the park other than being significantly overpriced when comparing to other parks we have stayed. Unfortunately, not a lot of options in the area. It is worn out and the amenities are not really there.

For large rigs I wouldn’t recommend it. The pad was very narrow and uneven. Sites were very close. Got there at 5:30 and the office was closed! Could have been worse but would recommend it. One positive is the location was good.

Clean, friendly and close to Craters of the Moon and other historical attractions in the area. Great place to stay if you're traveling in the area. I will definitely stay here again when traveling through again.

Very kind gentleman opened cabin for me and turned on heat. Cabin was clean and well lit. Very nice experience, even if loop road was closed

I stayed in a cabin Mid June and it was exactly what I needed. I wasn't expecting to see the Tetons from the cabin but I was pleasantly surprised when I could. Highly recommend this KOA. Staff was exceptional. Cafe food was also great.

This is one of our favorite places to stay on our Montana summer trips. Our site was level and everything worked. The staff is friendly and Jasmine is awesome. Our latest stay was perfect
