We had a nice three day stay here in Arco, ID at the Craters of the Moon KOA. FHU Pull Through site - all was good. Unfortunately besides the National Monument Park (which was awesome) we did not find anything else to do in the immediate area. The small town of Arco didn't have much in terms of restaurants, parks, etc so we felt we could have got it all done in a two night stay, maybe even one.

Cabin and the space around it was great. The people who run the place were next to unfriendly. The wind was so bad I could not use my cook stove. My cat and I spent most of the time inside because of inclement weather. There was no Wi-Fi, which made the need to change my traveling plans impossible and when I asked for a refund I thought the woman was going to scream at me.

Really nice well maintained park. People are very friendly and nice. The Pickles Restaurant is fantastic.

We stayed 2 nights. Place could use some updating. A bit worn. We liked our site. Hook ups were good and staff were friendly.

I didn’t stay. I visited Crater of the Moon, then I turned around and drove 70 miles to civilization even though I was tired. The town of Arco had a very bad vibe of depravity. I didn’t feel safe there, which is concerning because not much frightens me.

Just a quick 1 night layover. Park was clean & Quiet. Just what we wanted. Came in from the North, and almost missed the sign, and my turn!!

Our stay was nice. It was real quiet there at night. We appreciated the KOA's proximity to the Craters of the Moon National Monument.

Staff is very friendly and could not be any more helpful. Super nice and WARM pool. Great location for Craters of the Moon N.P. Nice pancake breakfast. There was an occasional smell. It would come and go (when the wind shifted). She said it was their sewer system from a distance away from the campsites. Overall well maintained campground and well worth the stay. Nice tent sites as well.

We made two reservations in March for an August stay and requested the sites be side-by-side. Request was ignored. Very inconvenient for our party of four traveling together.

People managing this camp were very friendly. Site was rather simple, little grass (drought) but level and well organized and dog friendly.

Friendly, great power and water. We were down wind of several coralled horses. Grass and trees were not green and inviting (inspite of the hot dry summer, where I thought it would have at least looked like the irrigation system had been used. No electricity in the very clean and bright bathrooms.

Was told our surge protector was a piece of junk when it told us “open ground” and then would shut off. (We had been using that surge protector everyday for a month. we also tried it on near by spots and it worked fine.)

I cant really give the area a good grade since its a bone dry region and dusty. But as a stop for a few days to visit Craters it was fine. The neighboring property with its signage and cult like feel should have been added as a attraction. Unfortunately I wont be back.

Very nice campground, we weren’t here long but I definitely would return here if we are ever in this area again. The owner is wonderful and he understands Dachshunds �

Nice campground, clean showers and as close to the Craters of the Moon as you can get. Also, the cell service at the campground is a good as we have had while traveling.

I find it worrisome that the outlet didn't work and that when I told the staff that, they didn't believe me. I ended up plugging into an outlet at another site. The outlet did get replaced but that could easily have become a fire. I also was bothered by the fact that despite the fire warning I was given at check-in, others were burning fires and there were no notices posted about fires.

it is average with nothing good or really bad with the park other than being significantly overpriced when comparing to other parks we have stayed. Unfortunately, not a lot of options in the area. It is worn out and the amenities are not really there.

For large rigs I wouldn’t recommend it. The pad was very narrow and uneven. Sites were very close. Got there at 5:30 and the office was closed! Could have been worse but would recommend it. One positive is the location was good.

Clean, friendly and close to Craters of the Moon and other historical attractions in the area. Great place to stay if you're traveling in the area. I will definitely stay here again when traveling through again.

I found it disheartening that I had absolutely no problem getting 8 waffles on Saturday morning, but was told there was a limit of only 1 on Sunday. So instead, I went to Pickles Place and ate there instead. Most excellent food. NO, I won’t be returning to this location ever again.

We had a very good time the camp ground was clean the staff was very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was that the front office / store would close at 4:30 pm.

Perfect place to stay when visiting Craters of the Moon. Older, locker-style bathroom was clean and well-maintained. Cabin was perfect for 2. Employee needs to make sure store/office door is actually unlocked before getting snitty.

Nice place to stay. Our site was a "Pull - Thru", which made it great for us, since we were towing a car. Owners are VERY nice, and try their best to accommodate everyone, with ANY problems they may have. Not alot to look at...BUT Craters of the Moon is about 15 miles away.

Charming little campground in a tiny town. Great distance from Craters of the Moon National Monument. Clean bathrooms and showers. Lots of families with kids. Would stay again.

would've given higher rating except the pool was closed cabin was clean but the curtains didn't go all the way down to the wall for privacy the showers weren't very hot for very long. there were several drivers who unfortunately used the road behind the koa as a speed way throughout the night the free pancakes and coffee was nice (tips excepted) friendly employees easy check in nice extras offered

This KOA is very well taken care of and the staff are friendly. They all have a good knowledge of the surrounding area that you can visit with a short drive. The store is lacking a little on supplies and is probably because of its remote location. We had a great time!

Very kind gentleman opened cabin for me and turned on heat. Cabin was clean and well lit. Very nice experience, even if loop road was closed

I stayed in a cabin Mid June and it was exactly what I needed. I wasn't expecting to see the Tetons from the cabin but I was pleasantly surprised when I could. Highly recommend this KOA. Staff was exceptional. Cafe food was also great.

This is one of our favorite places to stay on our Montana summer trips. Our site was level and everything worked. The staff is friendly and Jasmine is awesome. Our latest stay was perfect
