This is a great KOA. Spaces were nice and the staff were friendly. Daily Waffles served along with an ice cream fund raiser every day. Would definitely recommend this as a place to set up camp for Craters of the Moon or just a night’s stay.

after booking was told that the camp site do not support charging EV cars. was given an exception for one time but it doesn't make sense why EVs would be excluded when proper charging cables are used. we stayed 1 night and charged and did not trip any breakers at all. you will be losing more business in the future with this policy in place, at least mention it at the time of booking on your webpag

Lovely KOA Journey. Well run park, clean, comfortable, nice sites, scenic. Owner went above and beyond with daily ice cream socials, great food at cafe, and free waffle breakfasts! Thank you!

great place to stay between Craters of the Moon and Canyon Campground in Yellowstone NP. Had all the ammenities we needed, laundry, power, water, pool and shade! Great hosts for a clean and welcoming site.

This is the third time we have stayed at this park and this time we opted for a cabin. First time we’ve had a mini fridge and microwave in our cabin. What a great surprise! My nephew loved the pool and the breakfast waffles but I think the best part was all the kids to play with. This is a great family campground and I’m sure we will be back!

We enjoyed all that there was to offer...bikes, pool, horseshoes and more. Only disappointing part was that we missed the ice cream social.

We were not happy with the lawn watering. Arrived and pulled in and had to walk thru sprinkler to get out of rv. Just paid $100 to have rv washed and now is all spotted. Next day they water on other side of site and spots on rv again. I'd suggest not watering on sites that are occupied or will be occupied that day. Office staff was very pleasant.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean bathroom and showers. Only negative was the flies at dusk. Would stay again.

Our main problem was with the electrical power provided at the campground. It was late July and hot. First day I had issues with outages. The office said it our surge protector. We unplugged it and no problems. The last night they had major outage on our side of the park which we had to go with out power for hours. They did offer to move us or give us a discount. We took the discount.

Our camper was comfortable, the location convenient. The laundry facilities were not great, and the grounds were nothing special. the staff was the best part of the park.

We loved this campsite. Lovely warm pool, free breakfast waffles and cheap ice cream. Plus nice views and very quiet. Perfect!

The park was very nice. All the staff were very courteous and worked very hard to make our stay pleasant. The park was very clean. Added bonuses are the waffle and coffee breakfast, ice cream social, and the paper plate café. I will definitely stay here again.

The only problem was cabin was not wheelchair accessible, but I managed to get in with cane. I suggest one cabin have a ramp. Otherwise, bed was comfortable and fridge and microwave were useful. Restroom was nice and roomy. Nice amenities. Friendly staff.

The camp hosts are very helpful and nice. They provided all campers with an ice cream social and free coffee and Belgian waffles in the morning. Bathrooms and showers were clean and sites were as well.

Very clean, quiet. And they go out of their way for the guests like free waffles & coffee in the mornings, and ice cream in the evenings.

The staff was great. The waffles were awesome! Plus the ice cream was great for the kids. If staying in the area I would recommend this KOA!

We loved our stay in the Fifth wheel. The location was convenient to the things we wanted to visit in the area- Craters of the Moon and the EBR1 tour- the first nuclear breeder reactor. The hosts Alan and Barbara are great!

This KOA location is well-operated, and we did not have any substantial problems during our stay. Management is helpful. On the night of our visit, there was relatively little noise from other campers and the surrounding town.

The campground needs a face lift. Spaces were uneven. Needs new gravel and fill in the holes in the sites.

We stayed at Craters of the Moon KOA for 2 nights in early August 2022. Check in was easy, staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in site C2, just across from the pool. The site was gravel and perfectly level. C2 had a fire pit and a new picnic table. Nice room between sites with shade trees. There is a play structure nearby. The office had free waffles and coffee, and ice cream social.

Although an ideal location for visiting the wonderful craters of the Moon park, this KOA had many drawbacks and one nice convenience, a restaurant. The GPS directions are wrong. Our spot was way unlevel. It had mud puddles and although told my spot was way long enough for my truck and toy hauler, the truck stuck out several feet. The park wasn’t full so I knew othe Rv’s could get by.

Very kind gentleman opened cabin for me and turned on heat. Cabin was clean and well lit. Very nice experience, even if loop road was closed

I stayed in a cabin Mid June and it was exactly what I needed. I wasn't expecting to see the Tetons from the cabin but I was pleasantly surprised when I could. Highly recommend this KOA. Staff was exceptional. Cafe food was also great.

This is one of our favorite places to stay on our Montana summer trips. Our site was level and everything worked. The staff is friendly and Jasmine is awesome. Our latest stay was perfect
