We just stayed overnight but it was a pleasant campground to stay in after a long day of driving.

We had an 8 night stay and it was great. Every aspect was top notch and well executed. All the staff is super helpful, engaging, friendly, professional, and willing to help. The daily check out/in process that went on for many 1-night visitors was amazing to watch. It went so smoothly. We'll be ready to stay again if we are in the area. Thanks to the folks at Cloquet KOA for a 5 star visit!

Very friendly and helpful. A neat and clean campground. Will definitely stay again when visiting the Duluth area.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Pool, hot tub, and hot showers were an excellent touch. It’s not something you get at just any campground. They also had an ice cream social and hayride that our little one enjoyed (us too). All around a nice place to stay.

Welcoming staff in office. Had a level pull through. Sites are very tight, but offer some shade. Many sites are only W&E, but they offer pumping service free. Nice pool and facilities. Easy drive to stores and restaurants. About 20 minutes to Duluth. Off the highway, but train tracks are close and a few run by each day.

First time at the Cloquet / Duluth KOA. We would definitely recommend and return. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

A very loud party went on for a few hours - complete with a very loud motorcycle late at night, loud talking, etc.. Most campgrounds do not allow that. Yours did. That's unacceptable.

Just one night as we were travelling west. Didn’t use any of the facilities. Quick fast check in.

Friendly staff.

I do not like the unisex showers. When you get done, the room is fogged up, and putting on a bra and underwear is impossible. So you either go without, or wrap a towel around you and try to get to the toilet area without traumatizing any small children. Other than that it was fine.

The staff were great. The sites are close together, did not see any grill area.

Very nice place, clean, nice bathrooms and pool. Dog friendly, only downside very loud trains during the day, but quiet throughout the night. I would recommend it as nice campground.

Nice sites and clean laundry room - also friendly staff!

Quiet and tree lined park. Reception staff was friendly and had great suggestions of things to see!
Aug 15, 2023
Upon arrival I stood in the lobby and waited for at least 15-20 minutes while the receptionist talked on the phone, was not even acknowledged. Also, I had booked a back-in wooded camp site months in advance, did not receive a wooded back-in site. Instead I was given a pull through site jammed in between 2 other RV's with zero privacy.

Great staff - helpful, pleasant. Near railroad but train does not seem to frequently come through at night. Close to Duluth and North Shore Drive.

Thank you Robert for getting us in your KOA park. Loved the ground squirrels and the music festival in Carlton, but especially the friendly, accommodating team at Cloquest/Duluth!

Great place to stay! The showers and bathrooms were very clean- not easy to do when it was as busy as it was all week. I was very impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff- I would absolutely stay again! It was also very fun seeing the trains go by! Our kids loved that! Thanks for making our stay so great!!!

Because I was 30amp you stuck me on a companion site, the first night other site empty, second night we were in Grand Portage, came back for the third night and was overrun by a large group on the other site. they took over the entire site including a tent, we could not sit around our campfire without having them walk through the little bit of site we had. You should have checked how they sit up.

Very nice campground. Typical KOA!! We got stuck next to some semi-rude people but we were there for only one night so we didn't address it. Young gentleman showing people their campsites was very nice and had a great sense of humor!! Would recommend!!

We had a 1-night stay in a nice wooded setting and would stay here again. They have a good variety of campsites and are working on upgrading this location.

Nice park and friendly, helpful staff. A small fence was put up for us to shade the sun in the late afternoon. Above and beyond. Loved the pool sand hot tub. Near to so many sights to see too.

Nice place. Nice people. Very helpful. Clean well managed place.

The sites were tight. Couldn't put up a screened in tent. Bathrooms didn't have toilet paper over the weekend. Was told by one of the employees that we couldn't rinse/flush out our black water sewer tank. Said it was policy but said policy wasn't posted anyway. Management said it was too expensive for campers to flush out their black water tank. We will not be staying at KOA at Cloquet again.

This KOA is probably one of the best ones I have stayed at. The campground is very well kept, bathrooms clean, easy to get around, and the entire staff was wonderful. We did a 3 month stay at this campground (so we got to know people pretty well lol) and I would highly recommend it for anyone medically traveling (even for the duluth area) The owners were incredibly accommodating and very kind. I would definitely stay here again. Yes, there is a train but it really wasn't a problem, and I work overnight so I had to sleep during the day.

We had a great visit. Staff is great, location was alright, the train horn blasts via the nearby tracks through the nights weren't the best but we got used to them...lol. Location is convenient though to Jay Cook and Duluth so made it convenient.

The cabin was super cute. The mattress was ok to sleep on, thin. There are outlets for phones. Bring your own cookware. The fire pit was easy to cook over. The staff was super helpful and fun. People really get into the Halloween weekend. The modern facilities are clean.
