We are 4 miles from Lake Okeechobee.

Lake Okeechobee is the second largest freshwater fishing destination in the United States, full of largemouth bass, bluegill, catfish and black crappie. At over 730 square miles, it's a sportsman's paradise. Lake Okeechobee is a man made lake. It is surrounded by dikes and canals and locks. If fishing isn't for you, try hiking or biking on the 110-mile bike path or take a scenic airboat tour. You can catch a glimpse of our alligators and manatees. Bird watchers will delight in seeing pelicans, shore birds, songbirds, waterfowl, and birds of prey - including the American bald eagle and osprey.

During the winter months, join us for potluck dinners, bingo, or take a dip in our heated pool.

Centrally located between the east and west coast, Clewiston/Lake Okeechobee KOA is the place to be year round.
