We decided to stay at the Chicago KOA so that we could visit our friends in Chicago along our way. The campground is well, set up and well-maintained, and they have a great system for entering and exiting. Even with a shortage of staff, there was absolutely no problem with anything. We felt very safe and secure and enjoyed our stay.

easy booking, friendly check-in, clean restrooms, sites a little close together, wondered if instead of having 3 parking places "down the road" if you'd separate the sites 64, 65, 66 with a parking spot in between each site-just a thought. Very much appreciated the handicap satellite restroom. Close to highway and visited Illinois Railroad Museum & Sycamore Race Track since they were so close.

Park is beautiful. We could tell much work and pride went into maintaining the Park. Very family oriented, which is great! Felt it was a bit pricey though.

What a wonderful place to stay. The place was clean, well laid out, and had many activities for kids. To top it off, the two visit. on site were so professional and down to earth. They made you feel like a friend stopping by for a visit.

HAD A GREAT STAY! EVERYONE WAS FRIENDLY AND ANYTHING WE ORDERED CAME TO OUR CAMPSITE QUICKLY. THE CAMPGROUNDS WAS NEAT AND CLEAN.

The overall campground is very well maintained with nice areas for walking and kudos to the upgrades. Check-in was smooth and our pull thru site was nicely done with a fire pit, brick pad with a table, and swing toward the back of the property which offered some privacy. The pool looked well-maintained and the kid's area looked like a lot of fun if you're traveling with kids! Would stay again.

Campground was super nice. The office stayed in touch through text for activities, information about incoming storm, offered place to stay (if needed).

Cleanest campground I've been to in a long time. Owners are great host, bathrooms are clean, play area was clean, pool was clean and the place was family and pet friendly. Definitely would come back.

Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Campgrounds and site well maintained. Train station is close to the campground. Best way to travel to downtown Chicago. Small store but well stocked.

The campground is wonderful. Our site #92 was terrible. Could not use the sewer because **** doesn't flow uphill. The sewer pipe was so much higher than our camper that it would never empty our tanks. The site was not level either. We have a self leveling camper and it would never level, even with 3 tires off the ground.

Infrastructure needs some support: entrance road is one-way only for larger rigs, roadways are dirt/dust, causing annoyance for those nearest the entrance area with large clouds of dust. Fortunately, we were in the rear area and had little traffic. Nice size sites. E/W/S all worked properly, laundry room was clean, even had an iron and ironing board! Enjoyed our stay!�

The weather was beautiful but hot during the day. I had some issues with my awning, so one of the staff helped me out so that I could deploy it. The site and grounds are clean and well kept and level. I have a small Travato 59G, so I pulled right in and parked with no issues. The restrooms are very clean and I loved the showers. I often decide to camp last minute and I usually find a spot.

The staff is very friendly and we were happy with our site, overall. It was level and we were on an end. It would have been preferable to not have grass being mowed next to us, and blowing around, at the dinner hour. Since the roads are not paved, more gravel would keep the dust down. For $55, cable would be appreciated. This is just constructive criticism as we were happy with our stay.

Really nice KOA with lots of grass and trees and many amenities. Not so close to Chicago as the name might suggest but a really nice spot for a getaway weekend irvovernight.

We like how we are guided to our campsite and brought firewood. We liked how staff are in the area of the campers. We liked the mini golf. We also liked how clean the campground and bathrooms were. We did wish the shower heads were pointed lower. We will return to stay here in the future.

The camping spots were too close together to be able to use the firepit. It was a dust storm getting in as the roads were dirt not gravel. The rain caused muddy conditions. The water quality was poor (smelled of iron) and pressure was less than 30 psi, even at non-peak times. There was no trash pick-up and the dumpster was not conviently located. Some grass needed to be cut.

It is a nice campground however very noisy with dog barking from everywhere. I was a site 84 and just beside me, the was 4 dogs in a small trailer camp. As soon a we arrive they started to bark! Moreover when the owner put them outside, there leach was soo kind that they could reach the front step of my RV. It happens one time where they came and bark at my cat who was inside. Not very pleasant!

The staff were very friendly.The sites were too close together and my sewer hook up was higher than my my rv and unusable. I had to use the dumping station. The electric and water hookup were a few feet from my where my neighbors were sitting under their awning having coffee. It just too tight together

Nice and convenient place to stay. Dump station was small and the provided hose hookup could not attach to the RV; and could not be changed by the camper.

The management does a great job of making your stay a great experience. Nice-sized lot for our dogs, always available for questions, and many fun events planned. I would highly recommend!

We arrived late (with notice - Chicago traffic delayed us 2 hours!). We kept in contact with the campground arrived late as planned with Sabrina ( super nice and friendly) greeting us with a smile, guiding us to our spot, then after making sure we were OK recommended a nice place to eat in Union, Ill ( Checkers). I would highly recommend this campground! It's near the Illinois Railroad Museum.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.

We went the last week of September and was a blast for the kids since they has a lot of activities related with Halloween. Kids had a lot of fun. We had an excellent spot for our trailer. Bathroom are clean.
