We were welcomed and shown to our spot. That was great. We requested our widowed sister who was traveling with us to be parked next to us. She was 7 spots away from us. We requested a change from the lady who showed us our spot. Her attitude changed and became rude. She said we can go to the office tomorrow and change it. There were lots of spots by us that a change could have been made immediate.

Very nice park in the Chicagoland area. It was disappointing that the park is still operating in pandemic mode. We missed visiting with the owners.

The kids did not appreciate the creepy Halloween decorations in mid-September. Overall the campground was okay, but consider toning down the decorations.

This was our third stay with this KOA location. We have stayed at several others, most don’t compare to Chicago Northwest KOA. The staff is so friendly and do whatever they can to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. Everyday the staff is out checking on campers and making sure their KOA campsite is clean and in working order. I will definitely be back to this location.

Great Park, lots to do for the kids. Tight roads and spots, narrow roads. Key drop off box is very inconvenient. For people in their rigs already and trying to exit. Current system is that somebody has to exit the RV and walk over to the building and deposit. The key box should be a keybox at truck/rv level on the way out so no one has to exit RV A post on the way out.

All good but one thing is the dump site. There was just a cut off hose without a garden hose connection to hook up to my tank flush. Would like to see this next time please.

Enjoyed site 102 except would have liked more distance between the fire pit and the rig when parked in best position for the hookups. The site and grounds were well kept in general. However, not thrilled with all roads being gravel and stone rather than paved, as it was either dusty or muddy and made our floor constantly dirty. Welcome process was very good and staff were pleasant.

Our site was clean and roomy. The staff, every single one we talked to was so pleasant. They kept the kids busy with a ton of fun things to do.

We really enjoyed our stay but if I could offer some advice I would suggest leveling the fenced in dog area. There was a large section that had a huge tunnel below level that we had tripped on

Clean and quite. Everyone was very polite and helpful. Only thing I would have changed was the size of the dog area on our site. We have a bigger pup and she was pretty cramped when we put her in there. So she really didn't use it.

This was our second stay at this KOA. We made it a point to return. In both cases we spent several days. t's a wonderful place.

We spent 5 nights at the Chicago Northwest KOA Holiday in Union, IL. It's a nice park with lots of amenities onsite. Handy to the interstate and to the town of Marengo. Our site was gravel and sloped front to rear, It was a holiday weekend, so the rates were higher for most of our stay. The entry drive was angled oddly and it was hard to make the turn in with our "big rig" Wifi was spotty.

The campsites are very crowded. Our neighbors had their sewer hose open into a hole in the ground , and it seemed when they flushed the air smelled bad.

A tad pricey, but the park appeared well run and maintained. I was told that I couldn't pull into a vacant site upon leaving in order to dump. We were on site 55 no dump. Leaving Monday AM, there were many empty sites. We went to the dump, dumped, then returned to our site in order to rinse black water tank using the the cleaning system.

Campground was clean and hosts were very nice and very quick to respond. Loved items on campsite. Very disappointed how small of space we had on our campsite. Once RVs/campers pulled in and slide outs came out there was no extra space, didn't have space to play corn hole. Felt like we were right on top of each other. Especially emptying tanks, no one wants to be that close to someone dumping.

We had a fantastic time staying there. The staff there are outstanding just good people. And your facility was very nice and clean. Had family over and they were very impressed with the place we will be back again.

Nice KOA, we have stayed multiple times! Staff is helpful and friendly, pool is clear and clean, all utilities work well. There are a lot of activities on the weekends for kids! Grocery store is 5 minutes away.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.

We went the last week of September and was a blast for the kids since they has a lot of activities related with Halloween. Kids had a lot of fun. We had an excellent spot for our trailer. Bathroom are clean.
