We loved the property and all the activities for the kids! We were blown away of what we received for the price of the site! Everyone was happy to help or ask if we needed anything. We loved you cared for all of us during the storms. We were surprised that someone knocked to tell us our car lights were on. We will for sure be back!!!

The property is very secluded and pretty clean. Gravel pads are close together and not level by any means. It’s a good spot to get away from civilization—putt putt and kids play areas are nice—but no interaction with staff. The few we saw were kind-ish but very distant (maybe still afraid of covid?!). This is a nice quiet campground with friendly staff in the far west suburbs of Chicago. And it’s close by, but not right along an interstate. There are things for the kids to do in the campground and in the surrounding area. This is our 2nd stay and we will be back.

They are still practicing COVID , which means you cant go into the store or office, you are meet outsite and taken directly to your campsite, which is quite nice. they have a great playground area and volleyball or badmittin area. We enjoy checking out the stores, always find unique items in each one.. find great souvinors this way, but couldnt do that here. June 2022

Great location! Very nice during check in. Bathhouses were clean. Path for dogs and nice space for kids to play and get out their enter fun after a long drive day.

Beautiful spot (prairie view). Peaceful. Clean bathrooms with nice showers. Clean laundry room with reasonable prices. When ice or firewood was needed, we simply sent a text to the office and our items were delivered in minutes. Great feature. Friendly staff. Although 60 minutes from Chicago it was well worth it to return here after craziness of the big city. Would definitely recommend campground.

Staff was friendly and the site very nice. Unfortunately, the fresh water is very high in iron offering an unsatisfactory taste and staining anything that come in contact with it for an extended period of time. Also, it would be nice if they would reopen the store. I like to browse what’s available and don’t want to “phone in” my order. Think we’re stretching the COVID fears a little

we paid for a premium site. well, when we got there, we noticed several things. 1) what little grass there was, was uncut/groomed at all.trash from previous campers still on site. 2) pet area was mostly dirt and full of bugs. 3) the site was altered from a previous set-up and the service posts still in and in middle of awning area. 4) rv gravel pad from old set-up still there instead of grass.

I loved that they someone greeted you at the gate and took you straight to your site. It was clean and quiet, we will be coming back again!

Coming from CA and visiting family in the immediate area, this was an awesome "base camp" for our stay. The park and facilities were very clean and the staff was outstanding.

Fairly good except I wished you kept the dryers open for use during the rainy day. We could really use that to dry our towels. If only the washers have issue during rainy days, perhaps you can put a lock on them so no one can use them? Just a suggestion. Thanks for your hospitality! We appreciate your wonderful staff!

We just stayed for one night, arrived late afternoon and departed early the next morning. The site was clean and well maintained. We had a pull through site for a small to medium RV. There was enough room to leave our truck connected to our 34’ 5th wheel trailer. We would stay there again if we travel that way again.

We paid $90 per night for our site with full hook-ups. Our site is called a "premium" site because it faces away from your neighbors and it has a little bigger area. For $90 you should have level concrete pads as a standard with the goal of having fully level sites for every site. You have good amenities for families. Nice and clean restrooms. Helpful staff. $7 for 5 pieces of wood? Ouch!

It was a perfect spot to rest and relax after a full day of traveling, absolutely no complaints. Even had fun playing mini golf on-site.

Very clean and organized. The premium pop-up sites (water and electric) are the way to go. They include a wooden swing and fire pit (other sites just have a metal fire ring, still not bad). A nice little pool, playground, bounce pad, put-put, and miner’s sifter. Great for little and medium kids (up to 10yo). Staff was so kind attentive and responsive. They always seem to be hustling around.

We booked this KOA because of its proximity to downtown Chicago, which is still its main draw. The bathrooms were needing of some repairs. The camprground store was only open 2 hours per day, so not convenient for site seers.

Park was nearly full, but very quiet. Lots of space for walking us and our dog. Peaceful and was our base for a week of family visits.

Excellent place to stay. Owners were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a swing on our site by the firepit. Our daughter's family also stayed here and everyone loved the amount of things to do and especially the flashlight candy hunt for the kids at night. A great time was enjoyed by all.

Not sure the basics were up to speed. Been to many KOA’s…some good, some average. This one was just average. The 2 spots I was at for the week were very uneven. I sleep East/west in my new camper van and felt I was going to fall out of bed the first night. I repositioned and used leveling blocks the rest of the time. I bought the leveling blocks for boondocking, not a paid campsite.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.

We went the last week of September and was a blast for the kids since they has a lot of activities related with Halloween. Kids had a lot of fun. We had an excellent spot for our trailer. Bathroom are clean.

Great location, convenient to the highway. Super cute park with a ton of amenities & maintained very well. Reason for the 4 stars would have to be the water at the site. Came through dingy yellow/brown. My best guess is rusty pipes?
