Best bathroom of any campground I’ve been to! The site we had wasn’t the best, I’d prefer my fire pit and picnic table not to be next to my neighbor’s poo hose, but there are plenty of sites with a better set up. Hopefully I’ll remember to ask for one of those next time.

Sites very narrow and few amenities - playground small, pool not open, cable tv very limited and wifi shut down at night and very slow during the day.

A very quiet campground, which is nice. Lots were fairly well spaced. Most lots were in the shade. Pool area a little rough.

Staff very friendly and helpful. It is in a good location for Charlottsville. Park was clean. For the money it could have been a little more refined, the grounds could have been groomed better.

We were a party of 8 staying in one cabin and three RVs. Everything was very nice, clean and spacious. Our hosts were great, very accommodating. Will definitely be coming back!

this KOA is a bit out of the way which is wonderful. It is quiet, comfortable, staff is outstanding. No issues getting around in the park with out 40 ft 5th wheel. Sites were nice sized. we'll stay here again when in this area.

We had a great stay, the only thing that we didn't really care for were some of the pull through sights you stared right at your neighbor. But we get it. The best part is my husband lost his watch in the pool and it was turned into the front office! Thank you to the staff who kept it safe and asked me a lot of questions before handing it over. Beautiful place! We will stay again!

Very nice place to stay. We had a major electrical problem with the camper when we got there, the cable that hooked from camper to truck burned in two. This very nice owner spliced it together so we could make it home. No charge, just a donation to the children’s fund. Thank You!

This is a well kept Campground. The best feature of the campground is that it is located near Monticello (Plantation of Jefferson), Highland (home of Madison), and Michie Tavern. If you are interested in seeing those sites then this is a must place to stay.

Loved this KOA. The campsites are more secluded than other KOA's. We loved the campsite and the Charlottesville area we extended our stay by a day! There is a .6 mile nature trail that was great for walking the pup!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed five days and appreciated how quiet and clean everything was. We had three dogs and plenty of places to walk them. It was a great location and we will definitely come back.

Small sites, horrible wifi, no cell signal (Verizon). This place is way overpriced for what you get. Will not stay again.

They are working on adding a bathhouse. Right now a quiet but uneventful campground. Good for an overnight, although we thought the water even with us filtering it had a weird smell.

A very quiet campground. It’s a little far from the major highways but the roads are okay. The Wi-Fi was bad and cell service is poor. The sites are well laid out and spacious.

Great campground, Ran out of propane and they were quick to get someone to come up front to fill my tanks! only negative was no trash pickup at sites and when I took my trash to the dumpster the side doors were strapped shut and had to try and hold the top lid open and throw trash in. I am tall so I managed but but later saw a woman struggle and finally give up on getting her bag in the top,

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.

We had a two day stay here in early April. The bathroom facilities were immaculately, clean, and private. My kids state that this was the best campground they've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly. Prices at the general store were excellent. They also have a propane filling station, which is a nice plus. Would definitely recommend and give five stars. PS. There is an awesome nature, hike and pet trail.
