This visit was our first time staying at this KOA. And we will surely be back to stay again. The Young lady in the office was very friendly and welcoming. Such a Beautiful place to stay, Evey lot is very spacious Beautiful surroundings with the leaves changing color. Very relaxing vacation.

Beautiful peaceful area. Wonderful shower suites rather than shower stalls. They were very clean with plenty of table top areas to lay your belongings. The front desk woman was fair, not very friendly. But that’s ok. Really nice laundry facility. All the machines were working.

We really enjoyed the KOA campground and the surrounding area. Everything was in perfect order. Relatively easy to get to from Rt. 29 and wide roads.

Hadn’t been upgraded in many years. Growth all over the cabins. Lots are in touched. Pool is green and overgrown. Laundry looks like it was closed. Can’t believe it’s a KOA

One of the better KOAs we have stayed at so far! the woman at the desk was so nice and helpful. The facilities were kept very well and everything was clean. We will absolutely be back!

We had a great stay. Very quiet. 2 things I would suggest: Patrol that dogs are secured - We witnessed a dog being surrounded by 2 vicious dogs. Luckily the owner came and got them or I’m not sure what would have happened. Finally, the pond needs to have more access. There is only one safe place to access it and if one person is fishing, you have to return later to fish.

The campground seems old and outdated, kind of depressing. Many of the sewer connections are slightly uphill from the lots. Worst of all, the staff was apathetic and unhelpful. There was a large argument with a bunch of people in the lot across from us with lots of drinking, swearing, and physical threats. Loud highway noise. No security. We left feeling overcharged and under appreciated.

Really loved this park—the size & sites were very accommodating for our 30ft Airstream. We would highly recommend because the location is close to everything Charlottesville has to offer plus we were in between friends & family. The staff was great & helped extend our stay for two more nights!

Clean, well kept campground. Owner was very helpful with a minor problem we were having with our motor home. Quiet and beautiful area.

Site not level and the stone used caused the wheel levelers to sink which caused our camper to become unlevel the next day. The pedal car we rented kept losing its pedal;horrible musty smell in the game room so we propped open a door and were rudely told to keep door closed bc heat was on (making the odor worse). Overgrown pricker bushes surrounding campsite.

Had a great stay. Location of our site was good, close to bathroom but not too close. Peaceful quiet campground. Loved the hiking trail.

The campground is very small (which is good!). We had a pull thru site, which is really just parallel parking on the side of the road. When we were initially told this, we were a bit disappointed, but being after the typical camping season, traffic coming past our site was minimal. The pool is surrounded by a chain link fence topped with barbed wire. Not very inviting looking!

It's a hidden little jem. Very nice sites and quiet too. We only stayed a day on our way. Check out all the winery's and Monticello.

Stayed over a holiday weekend in early Oct (you pick the name, we just enjoy it!). The greeting staff were nothing shy of the friendliest people! Very efficient, helpful, and courteous. The park is very big rig friendly. Our 46ft LUXE fit very easily to site 24. We would come back anytime.

Spent 6 nights at Charlottesville KOA in a motor home. Convenient location. Called a Lyft when we went into C-ville ( May need to call day before to be assured a driver is available) nice & quiet area. Wireless ok when not too crowded.

We had a great time! Its very quite, especially this time of the year. The staff is friendly and always helpful if we have questions or have a unexpected issue. This campground is one of our favorites to visit as we stay here at least twice a year.

We drove in on the fringe of hurricane Ian. So it was a rough ride. We stayed one night waiting out the storm . It’s a beautiful in the woods location . The showers and bathrooms are very nice. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to investigate the area . The ride out back onto highway was a great surprise. Beautiful rolling hills in beautifully maintained ranching area .

We stayed for 4 nights. It was very quiet and our pull through site was perfect for our camper. The staff was also very friendly. It was, however, the most expensive KOA we have ever stayed at but I guess the prices are going up everywhere. Still, we would definitely stay there again. It was close to all the activities we wanted to do.

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.

We had a two day stay here in early April. The bathroom facilities were immaculately, clean, and private. My kids state that this was the best campground they've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly. Prices at the general store were excellent. They also have a propane filling station, which is a nice plus. Would definitely recommend and give five stars. PS. There is an awesome nature, hike and pet trail.
