Facilities were clean, dog park was in a odd location and closed one day, park location was a bit sketchy, loud music at all hours overnight from neighboring trailer park, staff were friendly.

Park needs some work done like grass cut most sites are just mud might just need some gravel put down so you don’t track mud in your camper

Grounds look like they haven’t been mowed in a couple of weeks. We stayed in a cabin that had dust a cobwebs, furniture was sticky. Trash bins overflowing with trash, and other cabins had trash in the fire pits.

12 days and the campground was OK Mostly gravel and sand site.. sites were very level.

No activities for children also no shuttle to charleston also the cops being there all night and all weekend and the code to get into bathroom? Must be a very bad area!

Beautiful nice shady area, did not use any of the amenities. I would use KOA more often if they offered a discounts for weekly & monthly rates.

The staff here was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The campground itself was very nice. The pool was nice but has very little shade on the really hot sunny days. The only bad thing was trying to turn left when you leave the campsite. Very busy road.

It was a very strange set up with a dividing fence and mobile home park on the other side. There were also sites/ trailers that were definitely long term stays. Directly across from our site was a camper with a truck that had been mowed around. Lastly there were at least 5 stray cats that we attempted to deter from coming around. It is not a place I'd seek out to stay at or recommend.

Laundry doesn’t stay open late enough. Went to ask for fire ring and the lady acted like I was stupid. She asked me 3 times which line we were in. By the way, it was F6. Told me to take one from an empty site. She also let me know it was 7:50pm and if I put clothes in washer, she would lock them up until 8:00am. She was a blonde haired lady. Only run in I had. The other workers were nice.

Loved the flowers and landscaping. Great location for those who want to explore Charleston and surroundings. Personnel were super nice and helpful.

Very nice campground! Campground is very clean with lots of room to move around and lots of trees and grass. Kids out riding their bikes and people playing in the pool made us feel right at home. Very easy in and out from the interstate in our 40' RV towing another 20'. We will be back very soon!

An overnight stay on our way home. Our site was electric and water only. When we tried to use your dump station we discovered that the lid/cover for the sewer does not fully open. This is silly and a problem that staff is apparently aware of. You are making an unpleasant task even more unpleasant. It's too bad that you limit what I can say here. changed from 4 to 3 stars.

I didn't like the planes flying really low over the camp. This was constant at all hours of the day. I even heard one at 3:40 am, and couldn't believe how loud it was! I had to turn on my a/c to muzzle out the noise! Sorry to say, I will never return to this campground.

It was not a well-maintained location. For $78.00 a night, I expected something nicer.

Getting out of the campground because of the busy traffic can be a hassle but other than that we enjoyed our stay. WiFi is adequate though can slow down when they're full. We are retired and didn't have our grandkids so didn't use the pool or playground. Site size was perfect for our motorhome. No fire ring on our site but didn't need it this time anyway.

We had a lovely pull through site at c1. The only problem is that it floods a little when it rains. Used the laundry room and most of the dryers were not working. Other than that the grounds were well maintained and the location was good for Charleston

This campground is in a bad location - right off the interstate and next to a trailer park. It was very noisy all night - loud traffic driving by and jets flying overhead all night long. Restrooms were clean. Camp site was ok but there was very little grass, mostly dirt/sand. Quite a few campers looked like they lived there - broken down rigs. I would not stay here again.

The Charleston KOA is a bit old but it was clean and well kept. The staff was very nice and easy to work with. Our site was a deluxe site so we had lots of room. The mowing crew saw us right after we arrived and said they had not had time to mow. They said they would be over to mow but never came back to do anything but trim. We would come back here in a pinch.

It was a bit ran down, maintenance needs to step up Their game Ants all over the place, Out table was rusted and falling apart You could tell the whole place needed a fresh coat of paint instead of covering everything with sun flowers No one paroling after hours The list goes on but not enough room here to complete it But on the flip staff was pleasant and bathrooms were clean

We always enjoy our stay at the Charleston KOA in Ladson. It is an older campground with few of the entertainment extras offered at some other campgrounds, so it might not be ideal for families with children who want a lot of onsite activities. It does have a pool that seems well maintained (we don’t use it). There are signs that the owners are struggling a bit to keep the campground maintained.

Site we had was small, neighbors hookups were right out my door. Grass on our site was never cut. Feral cats everywhere that would go after my dogs. I had a small 3' high fence we use at every camp ground we go to and always get compliments about it and was told to take it down. Must have made the camp grounds look trashy but the long term rentals that have old beat up campers is ok.

We stayed in deluxe cabin - numerous health/safety issues. Had it not been holiday weekend we would have moved. Off duty police sit all night near the entrance (which was beside our cabin, blue lights glared on one window). If the campground needs this level security other interventions need to be in place. Heat registers had no covers - very dangerous. Dirty dishes. Dirty floors. TV did not work.

Vary unhappy with this KOA, first of all, when you pull in looks like you are pulling into a trailer park, we had a tent site that was near a highway and all we heard all night was sirens from ambulance's and police cars. We would told to put trash out by 10:00 am it wasn't picked up until almost 4-5pm. Anyother KOA we had stay in they would deliver your firewood to your campsite they didn't.

Not a great KOA. grass lot needed mowing, cats roaming all over hanging out on picnic tables and dog poop all over site. Seemed like people lived at some sites, just overall not a great stay. Would stay here if nothing else was available. Staff was nice, pool and playground decent.

I didn’t feel they took care of the grounds very well. The staff was great though. I love the laundry room because it was like it was outside and it was so pretty back there.

The staff are amazing and the campground was neat, clean, and well-maintained. The spaces were a bit tight though; Our picnic table straddled our neighbors stinky slinky. Road noise from the highway and car noise at the gas station next door was a nuisance but, there's nothing management can do about that.

Other than tell me to take down dog fence which was keeping the 6-7 Ferrell cats from peeing on my gear and not doing the same with another site who had the same fence it was iffy.

Have family in Goose Creek and stayed 3 nights while visiting them. Rates are reasonable, staff is friendly, restrooms clean, store well stocked. Site maintenance could be better. Misc trash items not picked up and grass is not trimmed beyond what mowers can access.

The bathroom toilets did not get cleaned multiple days. Our campsite was infested with cockroaches. Tree limbs were not trimmed and scraped our roof.

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
