Nice place, staff was great, grounds and bathrooms were cleaned and nice. Only downside is traffic noise from the nearby road.

Campground is well maintained. Sites are a little close but not too bad. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only negatives are noise and traffic getting out.

A nice secluded area in a big city. Yes, there are noises, but you can't camp in a city and get rid of all the city sounds. Everyone was kind and we had a great time!

I've stayed here several times now and each time I like the campground better than before. I liked being at the end of the E row this time because it's farther from the traffic noise of HWY 78. My only criticism is that the campsite needed to be mowed -> the weeds and grass were quite tall and the one time they came around to mow during our 3-week stay, they didn't do a very good job.

The worst KOA that I ever stayed at.The recreation hall was closed.Unable to play pool .one of my favorite activities to do. I asked about the recreation hall and was told they had to fix something that broke during covid. Well,covid has been over more than a year now, My camp site was a swamp when it rained. I had to take my shoes and socks off,and walk thru 3-4 inches of rain to enter my camper

park is convenient to visiting our son so we'll use it again. Nice, shady spots although ours was a little small . We made good use of the dog park.

This was a pretty good stay. Everything worked well. Wifi was good. People were very nice. The sites were a bit close for my taste but we were with a group so we didn't have any problem. The traffic was terrible. Getting in and out of the campground was very difficult and the ddrive into Chalreston was very slow due to wrecks and construction, but KOA has not control over that. Plan accordingly.

I am very torn with this- the campground was clean-our site was a fair size. We are avid campers and if we were staying here to also enjoy the actual camping aspect we probably would have gone up the road a few more miles. However our stay here was because of the campgrounds location to Charleston as it was 25 minutes to everything and that was fantastic.

basic campground with basic amenities (3 toilets/shower each ). After a rainshower on the second day we nearly had to swim back into our van: a large area of the driveways and most sites were under water. A policecar kept patrolling the ground both nights which made us feel a little uneasy

We got there the first night and a cop showed up to monitor the campground overnight due to “things going missing”. there is a trailer park next door and a guy rides his motorcycle up and down the trailer park at night. There is not one light in the campground. We had to put things up every night and lock everything. Felt very unsafe here.

Came to work at the Airforce Base in North Charleston. The stay was nice, I would like to have more lighting at night. There is no lighting in the RV PARK.

Close to all the city's action, but nicely tucked a bit away. The cats were wonderful to have around (we had to leave our two behind). The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. The facilities were just fine. One negative comment: the washrooms have signage which indicates when they're being cleaned, which we who have to use them work around, but instead they were cleaned at random times, and in

Great location to the city for tourism. Feral cats all around, creating a not so nice atmosphere. One Small bathhouse , appeared clean, had combo locks to keep people out. Koa located next to old trailer park and on hwy with vacant buildings, laundry old and outdated, and broken dryers that did not dry well. Old playground and closed old rec hall. Pool nice.dog park ok, but out of way& close @dusk

Campground was clean but many spots were too tight with not enough room for trailer and vehicle., comfortably. Campground sits on the other side of the fence from a run down trailer park and there was a lot of feral cats roaming between the campground and the trailer park. With a dog that likes to chase cats and campers who feed the cats, it was a hassle.

Perfect location to Charleston and Plantations. The campground itself is average, no particular highlights and nothing much to complain about. It is a convenient stay for a few days, between I-26 and Hwy 78, which mean there is Road noise and Air traffic noise due to the closeness to the airport. Yes, I would stay there again.

The site we had was extremely small. We didn't have room for our awning, and we had to put the fire ring behind the camper. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. For what we had in a site was overpriced.

I sent an email on my first night with no response. The RV behind us D27 was feeding feral cats. There were cats everywhere and we camp with our dogs. It’s just a shame that there was no regulation of these cats and they will continue to breed and multiply. Was also disappointed that the camp K9 was roped off and we had to walk through a campsite to get to it.

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
