This KOA is convenient to downtown Charleston, several good plantations, grocery store, and Summerville. The hosts and workers were super nice. They were very accommodating to our visiting guests. I would stay here again. We received a very nice packet of maps and information on Charleston at the check in.

Sites were decent size, clean, check in was easy and she was friendly. Just didn't have the personal touch like other KOA's-- personal escort, wood drop off & didn't see anyone riding around checking sites like other KOA's

The office couldn’t have been nicer. The person who led us to our campsite immediately recognized that it was too small for us and got his supervisor who took us to another site. The staff told us about things to do in the area that were really fun and interesting. We definitely will visit this KOA in the future.

Overall I would rate this a 5 star. Bathrooms were very clean. However the area surrounding is definitely not the nicest. Had somewhat of an odd scenario happen as well while we were there * in the lot adjacent to the tent sites there was what sounded like a cat being attacked/beaten and then the sound of a metal pipe falling or being dropped*

Second worst KOA that I've ever stayed at. We had a sewer drainage problem that we brought to the attention of the Office 3 different times. I wasn't until we were getting ready to leave and I flagged down a couple of workers picking up trash did we get any response from staff. I left messages for Roger the manager, but I guess he was too busy to call me back.

Great location for visiting family and historical sites in the area. Very quiet and clean. Staff always friendly and accommodating.

The staff is always very friendly and professional. The facilities are well maintained. Clean bathrooms. The pool looks great, although it was too cool for us to use.

Campground is older, but facilities are maintained and kept clean. Some of the extended stay/pseudo permanent campers have been allowed to get a bit dumpy.

The camp itself is fine...relatively clean, really nice pool...some of the campsites pretty decent in terms of size and privacy. The only real issue is location...yes close to Charleston but basically right on a major road with literally constant traffic noise 24/7. Just hope your camper has good insulation. Other than that, several sites looking like people have abandoned their camper.

Lots of traffic on Highway and very average sites. Rush hour traffic is not good. Staff was awesome especially Kathy. Easy access to Charleston when it is not rush hour

The sites are very close, there isn’t much privacy. It’s located on a very busy road with constant noise. It’s okay for a rest stop for the night but would not recommend it for a vacation-type campground due to the noise.

Rv next to me was in disrepair no plates tires under slide out and looked like a bunch of hoses laying around truck in the spot has not been moved in awhile. The truck they used was ever loud at 6:00 in the morning. Dog poop was everywhere dogs and cats running everywhere. Besides all of that it was good

We liked our stay except for the guy weed wacking around our rug, motorcycle and the cords to our camper. I think this is uncalled for. Why can't they just do unoccupied sites?

Much cleaner than the last KOA we stayed at. If you are a AT&T customer your phones will have bad service. A little noisy but I think it might be the mobil home park next door.

Like other reviews, the best part was the front desk staff! The place is clean, quiet, and, we felt safe (still locked up, though). The trash was picked up at the site (though we took our to the big dumpster by the dog play area), there was a faint sound of the occasional train, but not obnoxious and loud campers. Pretty trees and birds. Camp store was decent and stocked. Thank you!

Stayed on a pull through site, The gravel on the site was too narrow. The site was a swamp after a major rain storm. walking in puddles & mud.

Horrible KOA rude front office staff sites are dirty, dog park disgusting! Location is horrible life time RV people everywhere and their sites aren’t tidy at all! Surrounding area on entrance is disgusting hard to get in and out of as well!! Find another KOA don’t waste a nite here!!

Campground was quiet, space was good. Did not like to be beside permanent trailer. Not sure why this happens, normally permanent sites are located together.

Don’t clean sites/check to make sure they are cleaned/ready for next guest. My site had bags of dog poop and dirty gloves, old burned logs for fire. Site next to me, after people checked out (two days later) still mesh and bands from firewood packaging laying in site. Bathroom door old, loud, very difficult to open. surrounded by industrial blgs, water treatment res. that smells. Staff friendly

Arriving late with no information was something I would like to see updated. Also I thought power and water was supposed to have hookup and I did not see that. Other than that it was ok

Directions we were sent in advance was very helpful as Google Maps put us up hwy several miles. Campground was OK but mobile home park on left and shared the entrance. Commercial business on right with bright lights that shown brightly into campground. Abandoned gas station at turn into campground. Transportation noise quite load - just not a neighborhood we want for a vacation.

Between the airplanes flying overhead and the trains blowing their whistles in the middle of the night, it was a very noisy park! The staff was friendly and helpful, but we were looking for a more relaxing and quiet get away!

I have been a KOA member for about 6years. We have stayed in a lot of KOS’s but this was the worst one ever. 1st the site was crappy, site #24. I had to block the right side up6to 8 inches. There was no fire pit, there was a swamp right outside our door. It rained and the water ran under our camper to the swamp. We paid for full hook up and I have 2 sections of sewer hose and still couldn’t r

Not the best location, it’s RIGHT NEXT to a shady mobile home park. You literally drive through entrance of mobile home park to get to KOA. Staff is friendly, trash pickup twice daily is nice. Playground is fair, but up front near entrance whereas I’d prefer it deeper in campground closer to camper. Many of the kids from mobile home park come over to use playground and b-ball court.

Check in was easy, staff was great and accommodating, my site was in the section nearest a busy highway, not as quiet as one would like but overall a great experience.

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
