RV Reviews

This turned out to be our favorite campground. Our site was backed up to the railroad which delighted us. We love trains. Other sites are on other side of park, less noise. Great hosts and immaculate grounds. very shaded. tall trees.

very professional, trains were actually a plus.

Friendly people. Great pancake breakfast. Bathroom facility is a little dated, but adequate. Overall good and I would stay there again.

Nice shade, excellent facilities, exellent hosts.

The site was very private, campground bathrooms nice, and the Thurs-Sun all you can eat pancakes for $1.99 was great. I can't help but suggest they hand out ear plugs at registration. There is a train that passes right by the campground and we were awakened almost every hour as it went by and blew the whistle as it did so.

Trains do make a lot of noise as they are right next to campground.

I would love to say exactly what happened, but you haven't given me enough characters. If you want true feedback, feel free to call me. Stayed at a lot of KOAs, by far this was the worst.

this is the friendliest koa I've ever stayed at this includes the staff and the other camper.....if you love trains you will love this park....i have never heard so many train whistles in my life....it was a great conversation topic among the campers

nice campground and people. but the main problem is the train that goes by about every two hours with the air horns blowing all day and all night about 200 yds from the campground. but the train was there first so you must put up with it

Beautiful location! Loved the Breakfast.

Nice staff help. Spaces are close, but the feeling was still peaceful. Had a small enclosed dog run; not the best for a greyhound, but it was enclosed. If you have kids, they have a nice kid playground.

Owner was less than friendly. Down right rude actually.

Great Facility, Very helpful staff

It is a great campground level spaces and fire pits. The only negitive about this place is the train noise. But I got used to that by the second night. Fun for the kids and very clean bathrooms.
Aug 05, 2013
Very congested, little privacy, garbage bins overflowing, staff curt, not friendly. Bathrooms full of mud. Not like the KOA we have stayed at before....very disappointed.

Love the area. Have stayed several times. Not kept up, close too early, poor upkeep, piles of debris in several places, no attention to detail, weeds where there should be flowers, dirty.
Aug 04, 2013
the staff allowed their 2 chow dogs off leash and they attacked our small boston terrier. I had to seperate them before they hurt our dog. Then their owner in his yellow KOA shirt came running up, instead of appoligizing, got in my face and threatened me with bodyly harm!the camp owner didnt care. We had paid for 2 nights, didnt feel safe with the wacko staff working there and left early.

We liked the shady Trees and the friendly people.

Love this park! Located in the Columbia Gorge it is surrounded by the best that Oregon has to offer. Minutes away from Multnomah Falls, Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery there is plenty to do . The kids really enjoyed the bike rentals, the swimming pool and the game room. We will definitely be back!

Great staff, Great sites around the Columbia Gorge, and nice looking park. The only negative is the loud trains passing constantly within 100 yards of the KOA
Jul 30, 2013
Very nice, well maintained campground. A little noisy because of the train track being so close.

Grounds were great. Trains were ok, every KOA on earth has trains and were used to them! Thanks for being so civilized about my poor driving (space 69. Hopefuly I can afford to pay for it without using my Insurance. We will be back! Want to try the golf course across the river. Dennis & Liz Edmonds

This KOA should charge less because of the loud trains during the night. Larry
Jul 29, 2013
OK for KOA. some spaces are too small rest rooms are cramped but it has a good location. The trains are part of the gorge.
Jul 29, 2013
a very clean and well maintained site. Staff not only helpful, but made you feel welcome.
Jul 29, 2013
We enjoyed our stay. Didn't realize you were right near a busy railroad track, but it really didn't diminish our visit. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Jul 29, 2013
Very friendly staff. Great setting among the pines. Clean. Pancake breakfast on the weekends. Just the stuff you expect from KOA, and a bit more.
Jul 29, 2013
Train was really loud
Jul 29, 2013
Noise next to train track. Way over priced if you have kids with you.
Jul 27, 2013
The hosts and facilities are worn but were very clean. the playground needs an update, but the sites were very nice. The biggest issue was the trains...holy cow the trains...
Jul 26, 2013
Loved the spot Staff welcoming Stayed an extra night The only downside was the amount of foot traffic THROUGH our site to access the store and washrooms, not good camp manners
