This is a beautiful campground in an amazing setting. Everything is extremely well maintained, and kept very clean. The location is great for visiting several mountain locations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are on the side of the campground near the road, the traffic noise can be annoying. The pool is shallow and needs some maintenance.

Excellent improvements to the cabins since my last stay in 2014. Managed very well, clean, quiet, friendly and very beautiful setting.

Beautiful location. We stayed in back in #4, right on the Crystal River. However, we couldn’t see the River because of overgrowth. No sewer hookup at the site, but they do have a dump station, which had easy access. Gave a 4 star, just because the quarters are tight. Nice showers. Very hospitable greeting by Annie when we arrived. There’s a bike trail that goes straight to Carbondale & beyond.

Staff is always very pleasant and accommodating. Sites are well maintained. Bathrooms and showers are clean. It's one of our favorite campgrounds.

Just an all around great spot. our cabin alongside the Crystal River was clean and comfortable as it had been over the years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Not a negative thought comes to mind.

We had a tent site for one night. Beautiful locations. Showers were nice to have. Only two bathroom stalls. Lady at check in was super friendly!

Your KOA is a very pleasant park. The reason for not giving a 100 per cent rating is that it is not exactly big rig friendly. We had a pull though site that was easy to get into but because of trees and branches and too tight of a turn to get out of the site we had to back out instead of pull through. It is a very nice place if you are not a large unit.The ladies in the office were very nice.

We stayed in cabin 12 located right next to the office. TP is rationed 1 roll at a time so a family of 4, going to the office every day to get our daily ration There was no AC, and no designated parking spot so anyone coming to check in makes it difficult to get to the cabin. The pool is small and only 3' deep so it's really a kiddie pool and the miniscule playground is useless for kids over 5.

Beautiful campground with a retro vibe. Modern showers/bathrooms. Nice, level sites. Pool & a small playground. No jumping pillow or goofy bikes. Rustic looking Cabins. We loved it!

Always a great experience staying at the Carbondale KOA. The staff are incredibly friendly, the facilities are always immaculately clean, the sites are located right along the river, there’s a bike trail that leads into town, there’s a pool, laundry, pool table, store and dog park. What else could you ask for. Perfect location to base yourself for some amazing scenery.

We loved cabin #5. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. Being next to the river was AMAZING! The office staff was exceptional and so very very patient. Can't say enough good things about this KOA. I've stayed there several times and each time I have been treated really well. That is so important in this crazy world that we are living in. Kindness is everything!

It was great, we loved using the dog park, the pool and the restroom facilities are nice to have also. People were nice and it was quiet at night which was great.

Staff was great and friendly! Cabin was very nice! The family really enjoy the entire KOA camp and we wanted to stay longer. We will be back!

This KOA was amazing. Location, cabins, host all great. Arrived with some snow and still got a great tour of the campgrounds. We stayed right next to the river with a view of mountains as soon as you walk out.

Overall good stay, clean, and friendly staff. BUT we went to leave on the closing date and water was shut off so couldn't flush out the tank.
