Lovely, well kept campground with great staff! Loved everything about it. The only downside is that it is next to the road, but there is next to none traffic at nite and during the day you hardly notice it. Loved sleeping to the sound of the river. Extremely clean bath house, nice Pool and cozy clubhouse with lots of games for a rainy day. Little shop but grocery store not that far away.

My wife and I experienced a wonderful time at the site. It was a very relaxing getaway. The location was beautiful, the cabin was great very thing was there and VERY clean :) . The store was small but had what we needed and the club house, pool, and activities area were all very well maintained. THANK YOU, KOA Carbondale. For a wonderful stay.

First time stay at the Crystal River KOA. Staff was very nice, grounds were clean and very well taken care of. Great Place, hope to go back next year.

Our studio cabin was wonderful. It was cute, clean and quite updated. We are “glampers” and this cabin was like a room at a very nice hotel yet in the woods! The dog run was good sized and clean. Our bloodhound enjoyed it immensely. Our hosts were also the best. Thank you for a great weekend. We’ll be back!!!!

Great 3 night stay with the kids, clean bathrooms and nice place to camp near the Crystal River. Staff was nice and accommodating.

We had a great visit until I was charged a $30 cleaning fee without explanation, which has affected my experience negatively. We made every effort to leave the cabin in the same or better condition than when we arrived. THERE WAS NO CHECK OUT CHECKLIST. If you’re going to charge your guests that fee, you need to list your expectations and then explain/show evidence of what incurred those charges

Very beautiful park. YouTube Vedic helped but doesn’t do it justice as the one I saw was done with few leaves on trees. Lots of shade a camp very well kept. Staff super friendly and helpful. Only slight negative was Highway noise. During day you can hear but did not notice at night!!

I stayed in the teepee and it was a hoot! Traffic was a little loud but it’s right in the highway so that’s to be expected. Had a great bike ride into Carbondale for breakfast! Thank you Soooooooo much for having coffee in the office! ��. Showers, bathrooms and grounds very clean! Best KOA ever- keep up the good work! We will return (again and again)!

Very much enjoyed our stay in cabin 7, river front is delightful! I realize they are older cabins, I would've liked maybe another side table in the living area. Also, for a cabin that can accommodate 6 people, a dining table and chairs for 6, ours only seated 4. Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay, the location and ambiance are wonderful.

I was very impressed with the entire campground. Since the tent sites were booked, I stayed in a cabin and found it magical with the river roaring right outside the window. Everything was clean and shiny inside and out. Thank you!

Office staff very friendly and helpful. Maintenance staff did great job preparing and cleaning sites. Bathroom was nice and kept clean. Unfortunately, this KOA is right next to the road, so you do hear traffic during the day. Quiets down some at night. The friendliness of the staff makes up for proximity to the road.

We love the relaxed atmosphere of the cabin and location by the river. This was our 3rd visit. Very clean and feels like home away from home.

This KOA is nicely maintained and our campsite was good. The only drawback is that it is right next to the busy Colorado Highway 133 and can be a bit noisy from the traffic.

We enjoyed staying in the Tee Pee. Every time we've stayed there, even when it was still the BRB campground, we always wanted to experience what it would be like staying in it. It was great fun and we plan on staying there again in the future.

My husband and stayed in cabin 11 with 3 kids (13, 10, & 8). The cabin had plenty of space for all of us (2 bathroom sinks is a definite bonus), was wonderfully clean, updated with new appliances, and had everything we needed. The kids had so much fun swimming, visiting the beautiful river, & playing on the playground. My only negative comment is the queen bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable.

I have been out West for 3 weeks staying exclusively at KOAs. Out of the 5 I stayed at this one was very disappointing. I asked for a different camp location due to its location near the road. The front desk person refused to accommodate me even though the camp site I requested were never occupied. Very dissatisfied with the cooperation and customer service with this location.

It’s a great location with friendly staff. If only there was something that could be done about barking dogs!! Our neighbors had 4 large dogs that cried and barked a lot. I would at least limit the number of dogs. 5 people and 4 dogs is too much. These were all large dogs so they didn’t stay in the camper much.

The owner/manager was rude to me twice during my stay. Clearly, he reacts and runs off at the mouth before thinking or trying to understand the situation. We all know this type of person and they are usually described with anatomical references. This person should not be in a customer service oriented industry.

This was our 2nd time at the Crystal River KOA. It was very clean and comfortable. The recreation room stayed open late, so we could all watch the AVS try to win the Stanley Cup. They didn't that night, but they eventually did WIN!!!!! When guest leave, every site is cleaned thoroughly. Even the electric boxes get a wipe down with cleaner!!!!!! Very nice people, super clean!!!

This KOA was amazing. Location, cabins, host all great. Arrived with some snow and still got a great tour of the campgrounds. We stayed right next to the river with a view of mountains as soon as you walk out.

Overall good stay, clean, and friendly staff. BUT we went to leave on the closing date and water was shut off so couldn't flush out the tank.
