We have stayed at your resort several years in a row for Thanksgiving weekend and was very disappointed to find out the hottub was not working. This detailed was not noted on your website or were we notified in the several text messages sent regarding the pot luck dinner and other various notices. We noticed as well other various facilities were broken and damages, not cleaned up. Very disappoint

We had a pull through site with a dog pen. The site was spacious and level. Nice small pavilion and fie pit. The staff was very nice and friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this campground

We enjoyed our time with our family. We were not prepared for how windy the camp site was, nor did we realize how much the campground floods when it rains. We did adjust our camp set up multiple times and made the best of our time there.

Everything was perfect and our stay was so comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our fellow campers were very quiet and respectful. Many dogs were present (we brought three) but they were all quiet and leashed. I couldn’t have asked for a more lovely campground with so many amenties it is beyond belief. Lots of fun activities too! Thank you for a great vacation!

Location was good, situated between ocean and sound. Some text messages were irrelevant or duplicates and nothing was sent to inform campers that propane had run out on Thanksgiving Day. Lots flooded. Electrical issues on a row of lots. They moved campers to other lots that flooded.

We are not “KOA” type campers. We do not enjoy the “parking lot” feel of the campground. We do not have pets and do not appreciate the constant barking of the hundreds of dogs in the park. Stayed here only because of price and availability. The staff was excellent in their attentiveness and professionalism. The bathroom/showers were clean and trash was removed timely.

This is our 4th year at this campground. We have the best time here. This year we were greeted with mimosas!! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend and we’ll see y’all again next year!!

Too bad there's a 400 character limit. I could write a book about how great this KOA is. Excellent, clean facility. Literal walk to the beach. The best part? The staff, hands down. From day 1, I was made to feel like family. Customer service is KING with these folks. Go make your reservation. NOW.

Staff very friendly. Park itself was clean, well maintained. Really appreciate the shelter over the picnic table, not all parks have that. Very nice that the trash is picked up at your site ANYTIME of the day between 8 am and 6 pm. This was OFF season. Plan to stay at this park again, when visiting The Outer Banks of North Carolina. Seasonal activities sound really fun..

Can't wait to go back! Hopefully with warmer weather. the KOA was great. Bathrooms super clean. My wife & I liked the shower / bathroom / sink combo to clean up. The topper was firewood delivery right to our campsite. we were there off season so maybe not so busy but OMG I think you got the firewood to the campsite in less than 7 minutes. I'm pretty sure it takes longer to make pizza! 2 thumbs

Great service off season - one day notice and scored a spot up against the sand dunes, next to the ocean. Great service ( I think I saw more employees than guests). Dawn/Don scored 2 beach chairs so we could sit on the sand (apparently departing guest leave things behind). Loved the bike trail along the main road. Great spot!

There were plenty of available sites but all campers were place all together! Multiple campers had multiple vehicles on their sites and hard a hard time towing out on the day we were leaving due to multiple cars being parted on the roads! The desk staff was rude when checking in or anytime we called the office! We will be looking for a different campground next time.

We enjoyed our stay and the campground was well maintained. The employees were very helpful and cordial. The only thing negative was the washers and dryers were not working and I had to go to the main building to do laundry.

Nice friendly staff, lots of activities even in the off season. Nice sites and off season is the best time to be there.Not crowded down side is a lot of the restaurants were closed but other than that it was great.

2nd time here...love the location and access to the beach. Picked our site based off of our first visit. Across from the bath house with laundry room but this time, every machine was out of order.

We have been coming to this campground since our youngest was in diapers and he’s now 31 years old. We enjoy the atmosphere and the area. We were surprised by one thing and that was how when campers left firewood bundles around us as a campers courtesy to the next camper, the KOA employees rushed in to grab it and take it away. I’m guessing to resell? Not sure, but thought that to be sad if so

We have been here many times, both in and off season, and of course the location is top notch and very friendly KOA staff as always. Amenities and activities can be excellent for families. Really like the new text alerts for activities and important updates on the very large, beautiful grounds. However, unfortunately our most recent visit (April 2024) had a few issues. Even though we understand its the off season and it's a relatively remote location, the facilities could really use some updates and upgrades. Hot tub broken, no WIFI and only two cable channels, no lights at volleyball, beach showers by dunes broken and rusted handles. Hope for improvements in the future, as we would still like to return!

First off I would recommend this KOA to all, I see some of the bad reviews and totally disagree. The spots are very level, the staff is caring and amazing, the bath houses are super clean, the beach area is awesome, the sunsets ( waking distance) across the street are to die for and the wifi actually does work but don't expect high speed, use your own hotspot. This KOA is very centrally located and within driving distance to all of the outer banks attractions. Thank you KOA staff for making our visit amazing and our pups also thank you for the very nice large dog parks, woof.
