Campsite was flooded when we got there, but staff made sure we had a spot that was dry to move to the next morning. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Very cold an windy. You can't control the weather, but it seems that everything there stayed wet. Even before the rain, our fire pit was full of water, preventing us from having a fire. Also, the detergent dispenser in the main laundry room did not work. I had to got into the store to get detergent.

The staff was great! We were greeted by Ashley who was very friendly and helpful! When directed to our site, it was very wet with rain puddles and they called up to the office and found us a spot on higher ground. We loved the beach access and the campground was very nice. We highly recommend this campground!

Awesome campground. Friendly helpful staff. Weather was not the best, but we still had a great time! Our dogs loved the K9 Camp…very large area and nice for the dogs to play off leash. We will definitely be coming back again! Thanks for a great vacation experience.

We was there in the first part of January and the hot tub was out of service. Returned at the end of march and the hot tub still out of service. They waiting on parts. We would have picked a different campground if we would have known just a bummer for us

We were very close to the bath-house and an easy walk to the ocean. There was zero issues with the water or electrical. We felt safe and it was an easy drive from the KOA to everything we wanted to see and do on the outer banks. Check-in and out was super simple as well

Although the weather did not cooperate, we had a wonderful time. Your staff is great. The campground is clean and well kept. The ocean could not have been closer. We will be back.

Next to the Burmese and a close walk to the seashore. Laundry facilities were good and clean. Weather was cool with wind, but that’s camping. All staff were excellent and very helpful.

It was my first time at Outer Banks and my first time camping in a RV. Customer service was great and my son and I enjoyed the our stay during the off-season. The jumping pillow was fun.

After an early arrival scheduled for adjoining cg we stayed KOA for planned only one night. We cancelled adjoining cg reservation after seeing how great this KOA was. Other than wishing the large pool was heated, we loved the place. Now planning a next year visit with our large family with variety of lodging possibilities but will stay in April when it is a little warmer. What a great location.

Everyone was so kind. From the ladies at check in/check out, and the staff that constantly rode around the campground to keep things working and clean. We come there 1-2 times per year and always tell our friends about the great time we always have. The activities are non stop and well organized. And the location is amazing. With the beach access right in the campground. We love it and will return

The campground and facilities are very nice. As we find with many campgrounds, Wi-Fi is hard to come by even when it’s there and offered. at the time of our stay, the Wi-Fi was being repaired and not available except in the lounge at the office. It is far from the northern end of the island and therefore if we came back, we would probably try to stay more centered.

Two weeks I was there -- no internet. No updates unless you asked. The grass at my site was deep enough in spots for my small dog to have to walk around. Not the friendliest people at the desk. If it were not for the Atlantic, this place would get a 0

The staff was welcoming and ver solicitous to all our needs. The bath houses are clean and the showers are private. We were steps from the beach and could hear the sweet sound of the waves at night.

Everyone at Cape Hatteras/Outer Banks was friendly and helpful, doing a good job. But most mornings I watched gulls open up the trash bags left outside for pick up and resulting trash blow through the campground. Hated that! Feral cats (5) in campground sprayed/urinated on our fishing equipment left outside first night. Having cats unvaccinated against rabies is health and liability risk!

We have been here many times, both in and off season, and of course the location is top notch and very friendly KOA staff as always. Amenities and activities can be excellent for families. Really like the new text alerts for activities and important updates on the very large, beautiful grounds. However, unfortunately our most recent visit (April 2024) had a few issues. Even though we understand its the off season and it's a relatively remote location, the facilities could really use some updates and upgrades. Hot tub broken, no WIFI and only two cable channels, no lights at volleyball, beach showers by dunes broken and rusted handles. Hope for improvements in the future, as we would still like to return!

First off I would recommend this KOA to all, I see some of the bad reviews and totally disagree. The spots are very level, the staff is caring and amazing, the bath houses are super clean, the beach area is awesome, the sunsets ( waking distance) across the street are to die for and the wifi actually does work but don't expect high speed, use your own hotspot. This KOA is very centrally located and within driving distance to all of the outer banks attractions. Thank you KOA staff for making our visit amazing and our pups also thank you for the very nice large dog parks, woof.
